China Inn Restaurant
Went in for lunch. Everything came out hot and was plated beautifully. Staff were all very friendly and on top of service. Bathroom was also clean. I would return and try something else from the menu. We had sesame chicken and sweet sour chicken along with some egg drop soup that was well flavored and had chicken chunks.
Hadn't eaten here in quite some time and was honestly very disappointed in the food. Ordered hot and sour soup which was ok. Entrees were Happy Family and Hong Sue Har Kew. Happy family was so salty and the broccoli was still raw. The Hong Sue Har Kew was sickeningly sweet. The only thing that we enjoyed was the fried calamari appetizer. Service, however, was excellent. Doubtful we will ever return.
Hunan House Buffet
I just wanted to share my thoughts about the restaurant I recently visited. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was exactly what I look for in a dining establishment. Although the restaurant may have appeared small for a buffet, the food more than made up for it with its delicious flavors. The size of the restaurant did not diminish my enjoyment at all. There was plenty of seating, and the staff and servers were excellent. They were friendly and attentive, especially when it came to refilling drinks. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I am already looking forward to returning many times. I highly recommend this place, so stop by for a truly satisfying meal if you're in the area.
Absolutely terrible. I hope i don’t get food poisoning from eating the little that I ate. The “chicken” is definitely not chicken and can not be identified. I will be calling the health department on this company.
Best Wok
We have used best wok for over 25 years. The new owner however has ruined that! We called to place an order and the woman that helped us was rude and disrespectful. She spoke to us rudely and hung up on us while we were still talking. When we called back she yelled at us that she had customers waiting for 10 minutes! Needless to say we canceled our order and will never go back! It’s so sad because we had love Best Wok for years!
Visited the town for the parade. By the end, I was so hungry. This place had no line, it was very fast, we were able to sit down, and one of the few places that didn't raise their food prices just for the day. They also accepted credit card. The service was quick, food was really good and it was a huge portion for only $13.
Kwan Thai
I went to Kwan Thai for Mothers day Dinner. Not only the food was incredibly delicious, the staff was wonderful. They accommodated all 12 people of us very well. The service was pretty fast for how much food we got and every single dish we got was as authentic as it gets and spot on. Definitely our next thai go to spot for sure. 10/10 recommended 🤩🤩
Amazing authentic Thai cuisine. Kwan & Pat run a friendly and cozy restaurant. Pete with his personable banter and Kwan with our delicious Thai cooking. Our only regret is that we didn’t know about their restaurant years ago.
Dera Restaurant
I visited this restaurant with my family, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. The food was not fresh, and the management lacked honesty. I ordered Nihari, and it turned out to be two days old! The least they could do is inform their customers about the food's condition beforehand. To make matters worse, my father experienced nausea afterward, which raises serious concerns about their food safety standards. I strongly recommend being cautious if you plan to dine here. Freshness and transparency should be priorities for any restaurant, and sadly, this one fails on both counts.
Too many times I’ve gotten food poisoning here. This sometimes happens on the days they use old food rather than fresh food in the Buffett. Today it was the chicken tikka which was dry, hard, and clearly old. I feel absolutely awful now. I sent the restaurant an email about it but they haven’t replied which is why I’m posting here. They clearly won’t change things so I figured I should warn others. If you eat at Dera make sure to ask if an item is fresh or old. I will be doing that going forward
