China Garden
If it wasn’t because their rice is ALWAYS half way cooked , I could give them 5 stars. I grew up in NYC, and China Garden is the closest taste to NYC Chinese food. But the uncooked fried rice is horrible. I keep going back thinking that it was a bad day, a bad batch, yet AGAIN, uncooked fried rice every time for the past 5 years.
Disappointing. The fried scallops, pork fried rice and sesame chicken were good . The fried wontons were all wonton wrapper and barely any filling ! Also had a slight spoiled taste to them. The egg rolls were still frozen in the middle . The wonton soup was terrible and came with no noodles . Definitely will not be ordering from here again .
Hong Kong Kitchen
I don’t talk ill will about food but I had to this time. The first time I ordered from here everything was absolutely terrible. Then 2 years later I figured I would give it another chance. Boy was I right about not trying it ever again. Never ever get their Hot Spicy Szechuan Beef. It was a scam. 3 pieces of beef with a bunch of carrots and it wasn’t even spicy. I could have made this dish at home. And their chicken wings were soggy? Worst Chinese food spot in Rockland county
This is the best Chinese Food in Rockland. Everything I’ve ever had here has been great. Nice large flavorful pieces of chicken, ribs have meat instead of being filled with fat, & everything else I’ve tried has great flavor. Great portions too. Everyone has different taste but I believe you will not disappointed. Enjoy.
Thai Garden
TLDR: try the duck salad, pad thai, tom yum, mango sticky rice This family owned restaurant has been around since 2008! The Thai family that runs Thai Garden is so warm and welcoming. As I walked in on a cold winter day, it felt like entering a cozy, warm oasis with beautiful decor. It’s perfect for a cute casual date, a group dinner, or take out! I’m a big fan of the pad Thai, probably one of the most popular Thai dishes in America. I get pad Thai with fried tofu (and add extra squeezes of lime and chili flakes). The fried tofu is cooked perfectly— crispy and hot outside and soft on the inside. It would convert any tofu hater to like tofu! Their tom yum soup is great and they also added another menu option to get tom yum noodle soup. The texture of the rice noodles was perfectly al dente and helped soak up the soupy flavors. The duck salad is a unique dish that I would recommend trying — crispy duck pieces mixed with cashews, red onion, and other vegetables in a sweet, tangy, mildly spicy sauce. My kind of salad! The pad kee mao (drunken noodles) was different than I’ve had at other places— here it was more emphasis on the spicy flavors and didn’t have brown sauce. We tried the mango sticky rice, fried bananas, and deep fried ice cream which were all good! This is a great spot for vegetarians (I think I like the tofu even better than the chicken!). They are also a great takeout spot! You can tell that people picking up their food orders were regulars and happy to see the staff who have been working there for many years. I’m grateful this restaurant has been a place for the local community to eat Thai food and keep coming back again and again!
Always a delicious meal. Service is awesome and a nice pleasant atmosphere. We have been coming here for years.
Kitchen No. 1 Chinese Restauran
Very fast service and the food is what you can expect from a Chinese takeout restaurant. Great prices.
wrong food was delivered, I asked grub hub to help in the redo, No 1 said no redo i don't care, grub hub gave me $5.00 back for $5.75 screw up order. This place sucks
Wok King Kitchen
Absolutely disgusting. Shrimp were not cleaned properly at ALL.
We get takeout from Wok King Kitchen fairly regularly and the food is always ready on time, the vegetables are fresh and the staff are always friendly. Prices are more than reasonable. Finding a great spot for takeout can be tough, and we're lucky to have Wok King right around the corner.
Great Wall
I got the lunch special, and I’ll give it to them, this was a substantial amount of food. I was filled up and brought a little home. It was a slight case of quantity over quality, though, and if it wasn’t so cheap and plentiful I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s good. Nothing to write home about but good nonetheless
I ordered Sesame Chicken, Pepper Steak and pan fried dumplings. The food was very good and the portions were quite generous. The peppers were crisp and fresh.
