Happy Wok
We used to eat here 3-4 times a month but the food quality has just gone down hill. The little boy that takes the orders is very disrespectful and the whole place just feels gloomy. Guess we won't be coming back as often.
Underwhelming experience. Food was meh. The beef lo mein noodles were overcooked and the garlic beef dish tasted the same as lo mein. No flavor variation - bland. Also got garlic 🍕 clean chicken and the fried rice was dry. The crab rangoon is sweet cream cheese no crab to be found. The containers are very shallow as well. Paid $46 for the equivalent of 2 meals. I'd happily pay that if the food was great but it's barely average and just not flavorful. The egg roll was the same size as my index finger. I gave 2 stars because while it wasn't great, it was at a very minimum edible. Will definitely choose Shogun or the Korean BBQ joint in the same plaza next time.
Hunan Gourmet
We came here after the restaurant we wanted to go in the area was closed. The food is very affordable, but a bite on the salty side, but otherwise, the portion size and price point was unbeatable. We had the shrimp with lobster sauce with pork fried rice, egg roll, and wonton soup and also the orange beef with pork fried rice, egg roll, and hot and sour soup. They offered us some hot tea, which was nice to balance the meal.
A long-standing restaurant of Oneonta that has survived and flourished over the years. For some of the meals they offer family style dish sharing options. Always willing to adapt their menu to suit the customers choice some items that are marked hot can be asked to have the heat removed whereas in Reverse you can add heat to just about any item. Very nice family-oriented and family ran establishment
