I loved this place.. am I wrong? Had an opportunity to finally stop in and grab a bite with my family. I loved every single pepper, mushroom, and red onion on our pizza. It was absolutely delish! So much so, that’s why there’s only half left on the final photo. My son enjoyed his boneless BBQ wings as well. I’m unsure how this place could receive a bad review.. however, that wasn’t our experience and we’re definitely planning to come back!

This place has awesome pizza, killer garlic knots! They always have fresh cookies and baked goods to top off your already delicious meal. They also carve ice cream, but not any ice cream, Jane’s Ice cream! They have indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor vie is nice, indoor is small but is just fine. I 100% recommend the pizza!

Tonight (12-28-24) was my first time eating at Eddy’s. I arrived approximately 7:30ish. I am basing my opinion on my experience only. When I arrived there was a gentleman cleaning up a bit. He welcomed me in immediately and apologized that the place wasn't organized due to him cleaning up. That didn’t bother me at all. In fact I like a restaurant that the workers make it their business to provide a clean environment for their customers. The restaurant isn’t huge in my opinion. In fact I thought of it as quite nice and cozy. However the place was filled with things that resemble the Jamaican culture. The restaurant has a large selection of beverages and bakery goods such as bread, bun, crackers etc. The menu was off to the right side of the wall and appeared to be visible. I was then greeted by a lovely lady. I asked if she had oxtails and she said yes. She offered small, medium, and large plate sizes. She made me a medium plate with oxtails, cabbage, rice and peas, and plantains. When I got home, I started to eat my food of course. The plate was heavy to say the least. This is the first restaurant that is NOT afraid of giving you what you need. There was a generous amount of oxtail on the plate. I asked for gravy and she gave me lots. The food was amazing. The oxtail came off the bone as soon as I picked one up. The food was fresh, and very filling. The rice and peas and cabbage did not disappoint me. I could taste the rich spices and flavorful ingredients. I definitely will be returning back to Eddy’s. I can’t wait to try the goat and jerk chicken. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for real authentic Jamaican cuisine.

There are these tiny, unexpected places that have massive presence. This is one of them. The jerk chicken (rice & peas, and plaintain) was excellent.

Best place ever I love the people that work there I been going there for years and they never failed to ask about my mom and my sons 💙

The food has alway been really good, I’d go at least 2 times a week for food. I wound religiously order the same thing every time me and my B.F. would go for food but then one random day, with no notice or warning of the price increase, they just raised there prices and raised them higher then most of the other HALA chicken places

Came here on New Years Day (night) with a few friends, staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Our waiter was very attentive and just overall pleasant. The food was also delicious, the beef teriyaki was cooked to perfection and the sushi was very well prepared. Will absolutely be back.

This place was packed when we arrived but we were able to get a table. The staff here make this place the best place in the area. They are so kind, so friendly, and so wonderful. We got a house appetizer that was so good, I don't remember what I was eating but I wanted a full plate of it. They have sushi as well as some decent looking food from the kitchen. I had sushi and it was good. Fish felt fresh.

Large portions, typically ready before the expected time, food is consistent. Never actually seen someone sit and eat inside.

I had some of the best bbq boneless rib tips here. My friends and I were visiting from NYC and were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness, efficiency, and flavor of our meal. Crab Rangoons, bomb, pork fried rice, ok with soy sauce, the boneless bbq rib tips, fire, and the Singapore meifun was delicious. I highly highly recommend coming here for your cheap Chinese craving!!!!

Love this place, the chef's are awesome and always fun. I have been a little disappointed with the cleanliness lately, I picked up the salt shaker and it was very greasy and dirty last time. I always wonder what the kitchen looks like when it's not clean where we see. Again, the food is always awesome and pretty good value for your money. I think they make the best scallops around.

We went for sushi. 3 roles per person, shared edemame apatizer, and 2 drinks. Bill came close to about $100, not including drink. The food was excellent. Great presentation. We didn't have any trouble getting a seat. Went on a later Sunday evening. The service was very good. I was very impressed with the presentation of the food and the quality. The selections we chose were very scrumptious and well paired. I've had sushi at places where the sauces tasted too sugary (as though it was from some canned syprup) these were perfect with the dishes and tasted fresh. I felt full and satisfied when leaving. In this circumstance, you get what you pay for. It was a little pricy, but the quality of our rolls matched the value of what we paid. I would certainly go back again in the future. Great experience. The parking lot is a little run down, and kind of in a weird area of town. The inside is modern and nice. This place would make a great date night when you're feeling like a special occasion. I'd also like to note, the food came out quickly for us. There were no conflicts. And, bonus, the booth seats had this extremely soft gel in them; I was feeling run down from other work, they were incredibly soft on my sore ends.

Worst slop ever served to me. I threw it away bc i could not eat it. Im very serious , this was awful , horrible food. Im so mad bc they had the nerve to take my money , for garbage .

They cook my food fresh and in a timely manner. The portions are generous. I can split my order in two. Eat some today and have some the next day. My favorite dishes are chicken and hot garlic sauce, beef and broccoli, shrimp and broccoli and shrimp and hot garlic sauce and their shrimp fried rice. I have no complaints from this location. Keep cooking that good good New No. 1...

They have new owners as of earlier this year & the quality of the food as increased exponentially. They also have a cool drink selection (boba tea, slushes etc)

I Absolutely love this Place when mom and I visit New York a Place I grew up it’s just a Blast from a Past and that has a lot to do with the Comfort Food of Great Wall, I love they’re Chicken and Broccoli definitely recommend putting egg drop soup on the rice it along with the Entree it’s so delicious and there Ribs are the best in Newburgh.

Great food, never got sick ever. Staff takes orders&very quick no longer wait U then maybe 15mins max from showing up&orderin. U can call ahead to order. CASH ONLY! NO APP PAYS! Prices r good for the portion sizes! I got a pint of house lo mein, pint wonton soup&2 shrimp egg rollS for $13! Can't beat that! Staff works w U&will let U make substitutions&U can eat inside! Parking limited but still good&easy. It is wheel chair accessible. There is no restroom though for public. It's the best Chinese in Newburgh! Plz though bring back pints of hot&sour! Not fair I cant buy a pint but must spent $6 for a quart!only sell now quarts of hot&sour soup ehen used to sell pints ugh..Many choices on the menu if U want no salt/vegetarian too! They have lunch specials for cheaper also. They r always willing to customize an order&make nice deals. Wouldn't go anywhere else in Newburgh! Only other Chinese I'd say that is head to head with quality n overall goodness is in Goshen NY for the great prices n safe food quality. They need to get rid of beggers though startin to come right in2 the business askin for money then my food I just ordered at LuckyStar! I could tell they were not hard up n wanted money for bad things. Told owner bc got scared&they don't even care/won't call police! Said well its Newburgh! I get that but I should b able to wait in peace for my food n or ride and not be harrassed for my food I just got for my sick dad/$ when there are plenty of pantries in Newburgh who do go work n serve food everyday. I know how it feels to be homeless but this person was straight out for drugs. That's bad for business I told them! My ratings have lowered bc of this! The staff is behind glass partitions which protect them so they don't care! I said something but the staff didnt care! All this food&soup 4 under $14! House lo mein, wonton soup, extra crunchy noodles, 2 shrimp egg rolls, nicely packed, sauces given& asked for generously, napkins, and let me customize my order for free! Lunch specials are from 11am until 3 or 3:30pm.

Great food very expensive. Your paying $20 for a meal that used to be $10 just a year ago.. I know things have gone up but their pricing is just outrageous

Order my food from my phone and then after standing in front of everybody for about 10 minutes finally asked if my food was ready cuz I never got a message of any kind and my food had been sitting there the whole time. And then when I asked how long I have been there the man lied to me and said it just got done. Then when I finally get down the road there is no utensils to eat the food and no napkins and no fortune cookies.

Me and my girlfriend have been coming here for months and the food is amazing. The lady knows us for our orders and my girls little brother for taking duck sause with all his meals. My favorite is the chicken on the stick! So tender and moist nothing like it! My girl orders the largest order of crab ragoon. Now being back to Newburg and My girl is expecting all she wants is her crab ragoon!!!😂 She always tells me other Chinese food Crab ragoons have more air then filling. But here they fill there's to the max inside of the pocket. MOST AMAZING PLACE EVER!!!

Just went to this place today to celebrate my wife’s birthday. It was recommended by a friend. The bar/dance/club wasn’t to bad but extremely loud and walls were shaking. The bass was abused and you can barely communicate with the waitress. Although, arepas were unexpectedly delicious and taste good. Place is fair in prices and our waitress Catalina was attentive and professional. Dj could do better. May comeback until I find a better spot. Free parking in the back.

I have ordered from this place numerous times. Today, the food was awful. I ordered sesame chicken lunch special with shrimp roll and crab rangoon. The chicken was mushy and the rice portion was MINIMAL. The shrimp roll was GARBAGE. It was dripping oil and obviously fried in OLD OIL. The crab rangoon were oily and hard. The food was TASTELESS

Great food! Wish the cash issues was a little better, food was yummy, I live 5 or less mins away so I usually just go here, never had any food issues. Might have just gotten lucky, little old and warn down inside, but from what I can see it’s clean. Tastes good!
