Mr Sushi & Grill
Mr. Sushi is my go-to spot for an exceptional sushi experience. The ambiance is inviting, with a cozy vibe that makes it perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. One standout item on the menu is the New Orleans Roll—it's a delightful fusion of flavors with spicy tuna, avocado, and a crispy topping that adds the perfect crunch. Each bite is bursting with freshness, and it’s unlike anything I’ve tried elsewhere. When I’m feeling particularly hungry, I order the sushi boats. These gorgeous platters are not only visually stunning but also filled with an assortment of fresh nigiri and rolls. It’s a fantastic way to sample a variety of flavors, and the presentation always impresses my dining companions. The staff at Mr. Sushi is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend dishes or pairings. I appreciate their attentive service, which adds to the overall experience. Whether you’re a sushi novice or a seasoned lover, Mr. Sushi has something for everyone. I can’t recommend it enough—each visit reinforces why it’s my favorite sushi destination!
We came here twice for the lunch menu. They are very knowledgeable on gluten-free food which was important to us. The lunch menu is a great price for the sushi rolls. The fish is very fresh and the fish to rice ratio is fantastic. This is some of the best salmon and avocado I've ever had. All the food came out really quickly. I will say though that I love the boston rolls normally at other places and here it was awful. They didn't add the mayo and it just was not good. Would not recommend that.
Zen Sushi
Let me just start off by saying I had no idea all you can eat sushi existed anyways it’s totally worth the price. The presentation is very very nice. It’s spot on. You will be impressed. They do have a vegetarian options for you. The service is fast and they’re friendly and they’re very very clean highly recommend. Great sushi too
Not entirely the restaurants fault, but it wasn’t very clear when we were ordering items so we got a crap load of fried food. Luckily, our party was large enough to crush it. We certainly think this restaurant has potential perhaps reduce the amount of rice in the sushi rolls. Friendly staff.
Pizza E Birra
we were on our honeymoon with my wife and some relatives took us to this place to try the typical Neapolitan pizza and other local specialties.. Having also been in the restaurant business and a pizza chef for many years, I can say that it is not easy to find a pizzeria in America and above all such good pizza, truly heartfelt congratulations.. The staff is very kind and friendly, it feels like family. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to have a great experience in an American pizzeria.
Wonderful wonderful place I had the pesto pizza, wife had the margherita. She wasn't a fan of it said it was laying seasoning I think it was the sauce was fresher that's all but definitely will be back to try other things on the menu. Management did awesome job, threw us for a loop server bought out this awesome dessert because she didn't like the pizza. And wooh buddy succulent succulent wholesome brownie. With ice cream and whipped cream. (Fat guy in me came out and I ate it all, wife had like one spoon ) First picture is the pesto pizza, second one is the margherita, and the third pic is the wickedly awesome desert we had gotten from the establishment because the wife wasn't a fan. Side note : if you finish your food get this dessert it is so so so so good.
Red Lobster
Tara the server was delightful. Very welcoming and warm attitude. My first time at this establishment. I ordered the shrimp scampi. With a lobster tail the food was great. I will be back. I also ordered the seafood mushroom with no cheese
Had a wonderful belated Valentine's Day with my wife. We ordered everything, lol. Great food, their Raspberry Boston Iced Tea hits the spot, but even better is their bourbon glaze that goes great with the lobster and even scallops, rice, bread literally everything. Def check it out!
Frank's Pizza & Italian Restaurant
I ate the most amazing slice of pizza. Artichoke . We went there to just get a snack. I hurried and ordered the first food that looked very appetizing to my eyes. After sitting down across the display of all the different varieties and slices of goodness, I realized I picked my kind of slice without looking at the vast array of foods. Then we got our food delivered to our table. This slice had to be about 2 inches thick. When you come from Texas and Oklahoma, you think, dang that’s a lot of dough. Geez I was wrong. This piece of heaven. When I bit into it I heard a delicate crunch. The bread was airy. The roasted tomatoes and artichokes then the cheese. OMG! It was so delish I almost cried. Seriously. So my snack should have been 1/2 of that slice. I couldn’t stop myself. This was the best pizza I have ever tasted. My mouth is watering as I’m texting. Yum and thank you to my friend, Nicole, that introduced me to this restaurant. From Sandra.
Unfortunately, the pizza was so skinny. There was no crust.I don't know how bad it could get that. You're charging high prices for such a sorry Looking pizza, no crust, nothing it's like paper. What's going on? They received a better review from me in the past, now This is just sad Unfortunately, I got an update from the owner saying that this was not their pizza.I've attached a receipt to prove that it is.There's no reason for me to lie I have nothing to gain and nothing to lose. Yet many reasons for them to deny....They lose customers it was evening about 840 .I went again two days later and the crust was not as Thin , but it was still thinner than it has been
Franco Di Roma
Franco’s Pizza is a great spot with a lot of character! The place is huge, making it perfect for big events like weddings or sweet 16s. Franco himself is always welcoming and brings a fun, upbeat energy to the place. The pizza can be hit or miss, but the vibe and atmosphere are consistently great. I really appreciate the easy parking and was pleasantly surprised to find glass bottle sodas on the menu. Overall, it's a solid spot for a casual meal or a larger celebration!
I LOVED MICHELLE who was gracious enough to ask the chef if you could make me chicken piccata which was not on the menu to my surprise they were able to accommodate me and it was DELICIOUS! Salad was fresh, but was not a fan of the house balsamic dressing, thankfully, Michelle put it on the side aka had brought me the oil and vinegar I initially asked for. The decor is a bit dated but the food was very good.
Olive Falafel
While visiting in NY area, decided to get some Mediterranean food and chose Olive Falafel. My husband and I are glad we did! Excellent service, made us feel very welcome to NY, food absolutely delicious!! So much food that we can have another meal later. Highly recommend the platters chicken shawarma and gyro platter. The baklava is very tasty as well! Meant to get pictures before digging in but at least took some after. 😁
Ordered spanakopita and the olive sampler platter and got no hummus and no tzatziki. The chicken was very dry, so more sauces would have been clutch here and the spanakopita (pictured) was tiny, hard and dry and looked/felt/tasted suspiciously like the ones you can buy in the freezer section of the grocery store. It’s fresher and a larger portion at the deli in Adam’s. The baba ghanoush and gyro and rice were very tasty. The falafel was a little hard and dry, but it was good (not great).
Cosimo's Brick Oven
Great place to sit at the bar and have a drink. Also eat some appetizers and possibly a main course. I ordered the Thai chili calamari with this fantastic and then I ordered a Caesar salad of black and salmon which was the bartender's special. I got to admit it was a very good salad
Amazing restaurant. Molly, our waitress was kind, patient and helpful. Staff works together and all the food was good. We will definitely come back soon
MIX N MAC - Mac & Cheese
.. came back and they no longer had the Frenchie, huge disappointment, tried some of their other flavors but wasn’t too impressed. Bring back the Frenchie please. __________________ Best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had! I drove 1 and a half hours to get here and it was well worth the trip. I had the Frenchie and it was surprisingly delicious!! I can’t wait to try other flavors during my next visit.
This place is amazing if you love mac n cheese. I just visited this past weekend and tried one of the newer flavors and it did not disappoint.
You You Asian Cuisine
The staffs are very nice and friendly, great service. I ordered a sushi party boat, fish are fresh. Also ordered lomein, ribs, Mapo tofu, fried chicken with French fries, and hot & sour soup. All the dishes are great, specially the hot & sour soup is tasty. I recommended this place to everyone. I will definitely return if I am around the area.
I am a former NYC resident and lived over 40 years just blocks away from NYC's Chinatown. I have also eaten Chinese food an average of once a week for the past 60 years. When I moved to the Orange / Sullivan County area 20 years ago ,one of my biggest regrets was the poor quality of Chinese food in the area,, that was until I found YouYou. Their food is the closest I've found to Chinatown or the many excellent Chinese restaurants in Brooklyn or Queens. While not perfect, most of the dishes I've tried there are very good. The service for dine in is also very good. The inside can use an update but everything looks clean. They definitely need new tables though as I don't like the feel of the varnish on the tables they have now and some of the booths are starting to show that age. They are about 20 miles away from me but worth the drive. I'm tired of throwing other Chinese food away, at least I know YouYou is worth my time and money.
China Star
Not kidding they have the greatest General Tso’s I’ve ever had. I’ve had “Holy Grail” General Tso’s from places all over NYC listed on various sites etc. this still beats them all… by a wide margin. I’ve also been coming here for over 20 years and it’s somehow gotten BETTER over the years. Insane. Don’t let these bums who give out anything less than a 5 star review about the food sway you, everything on the menu is great and this is exactly the type of NY Chinese food spot you want to order from.
Decent food. The place looks dingy and dirty. Nothing a broom, cleaning products, and a gallon of paint could not fix. Sadly, most Chinese take out places are equally poorly kept up. I just hope it is not a reflection of how the kitchen is maintained.
New China
It’s very rare I ever give review but take it from me. The environment is very clean compared to the rest in Middletown that are so dirty. The attitude professional and nice people. Food taste way better than others. The give u spoon and sauces. Other places in Middletown 6/10 food wise, they have nasty attitudes charge for everything like even sauce this tiny sauce🙄🙄. If u want good Chinese food better order from them and they will deliver to you.
Went for the first time and they sold me burned food. Same with the boneless spare ribs. Smells so bad. Never again! 🤬
