Fushen Hot Pot
Wow š® first off, let me just say that the place is very clean. The staff is so nice. The people are so so sweet super friendly. The food is delicious. I love that they have vegan vegetarian options but my wife and I left there so impressed. Iāll include some photos highly recommend this place. We drove over an hour away just to experience this. I love this place. Really the people are so kind and the food is delicious
I think a lot more people need to support local businesses and small chain things. This was definitely a locally owned restaurant and I think that that is very important. If you come here do not expect that it will be one of those K-pot places. They had really fresh food overall. A lot of the things were frozen that when cooked you wouldn't be able to tell if there was no freezer burn. They don't have as many options as some of the other places but overall there was enough to be filling with a lot of options. I think everyone should try here.
Taiwanway
I love here. Not only Delicious foods and drink, but also have cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend
Iāve been to Taiwanway several times now, and every visit has been a wonderful experience. The first time I walked in, I was struck by how cozy and inviting the place feelsāitās warm, homey, and just makes you want to relax and enjoy your time there. The staff have always been so friendly and welcoming, making each visit even more enjoyable. Over the times Iāve dined there, Iāve tried their braised pork rice and beef noodle soup, and theyāve both been consistently delicious. The flavors are rich and authentic, reminding me of comforting homemade meals. Their bubble tea is another favorite of mineāitās perfectly crafted with just the right balance of sweetness and creaminess. On one visit, I tried their house-baked desserts, and theyāre absolutely worth itāfresh, flavorful, and a delightful way to end a meal. Iāve also ordered takeout a few times, and Iām impressed with how well they handle it. Drinks are always sealed securely (no spills!), and they include a sturdy silver spoon with the food, which is such a thoughtful touch. Taiwanway has become one of my go-to spots, whether for dining in or grabbing something to take home. Itās clear they care deeply about their customers, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere!
Mr Sushi & Grill
Mr. Sushi is my go-to spot for an exceptional sushi experience. The ambiance is inviting, with a cozy vibe that makes it perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. One standout item on the menu is the New Orleans Rollāit's a delightful fusion of flavors with spicy tuna, avocado, and a crispy topping that adds the perfect crunch. Each bite is bursting with freshness, and itās unlike anything Iāve tried elsewhere. When Iām feeling particularly hungry, I order the sushi boats. These gorgeous platters are not only visually stunning but also filled with an assortment of fresh nigiri and rolls. Itās a fantastic way to sample a variety of flavors, and the presentation always impresses my dining companions. The staff at Mr. Sushi is friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend dishes or pairings. I appreciate their attentive service, which adds to the overall experience. Whether youāre a sushi novice or a seasoned lover, Mr. Sushi has something for everyone. I canāt recommend it enoughāeach visit reinforces why itās my favorite sushi destination!
We came here twice for the lunch menu. They are very knowledgeable on gluten-free food which was important to us. The lunch menu is a great price for the sushi rolls. The fish is very fresh and the fish to rice ratio is fantastic. This is some of the best salmon and avocado I've ever had. All the food came out really quickly. I will say though that I love the boston rolls normally at other places and here it was awful. They didn't add the mayo and it just was not good. Would not recommend that.
Outback Steakhouse
I went for lunch with my mom and as soon as we walked in we were greeted the most authentically sweet , the most beautifullll and loving woman I have ever met !! I wish I would have grabbed her name just so I can tell you all !! Her energy was so mesmerizing & wonderful to experience š„°š„° She should be teaching a class on how to greet customers, because she has that down packed man , I swear !! That already set the tone for lunch to be great !! Our server was also amazing, so sweet and attentive!! She seemed to be behind the bar and still had time to constantly check on us and ask how we were , she always remembered the extras we ask for and I appreciate that. The burger was definitely amazing , perfectly constructed and surprisingly heated up very well to eat for dinner !! Only con was that the blooming onion bits were a tad bit too salty but other then that I would definitely get it again. The burger itself was soooo juicy & flavorful š„°š„° Even the people who brought out things and other coworkers seemed to be so nice and respectful š„° Definitely a 10/10 experience and I could be picky so I definitely mean it when I say that. My mom enjoyed her food as well š„°
Great service but the food left a bit to be desired. The bone-in ribeye came raw and a bit cool. It was ordered medium to well. The baked potatoes were a lot smaller than I remember and they were also fairly cool. We'd already been comped with a free dessert for to a different problem so we didn't complain about the steak or potatoes!
Hanami Japanese Restaurant
It was phenomenal. My family and I came for my 16th birthday dinner, so they gave me a free fried ice cream after everything. The food was fantastic and I can't wait to go there again. Had a bariatric handicapped family member, and the waiter helped wonderfully and was very kind. The waiter checked in on us often, and even showed us how to properly open the Japanese fun soda (it meant it when they called it fun), and cleared our dishes frequently. The food was absolutely delicious. Just a tip, the meals are very large and filling, so we had leftovers to take home. Everything was delicious and very well priced. The fried rice was mind-blowing. I was surprised that I was able to finish my fried ice cream, it was so large, but surprisingly tasty. I got more food for a lower price than the local grill by where I live. Definitely worth the trip, 10/10 recommended.
Seriously the Spider roll was AMAZING!! I forgot to take a pic until I had only one piece left- but it was the best thing at my table of four!
Zen Sushi
Let me just start off by saying I had no idea all you can eat sushi existed anyways itās totally worth the price. The presentation is very very nice. Itās spot on. You will be impressed. They do have a vegetarian options for you. The service is fast and theyāre friendly and theyāre very very clean highly recommend. Great sushi too
Not entirely the restaurants fault, but it wasnāt very clear when we were ordering items so we got a crap load of fried food. Luckily, our party was large enough to crush it. We certainly think this restaurant has potential perhaps reduce the amount of rice in the sushi rolls. Friendly staff.
Crown Fried Chicken
Service was great. Rice with gyro, the rice was absolutely nasty. I don't know what kind of spice is in it, but I'll never eat it again. And I love rice . The plain gyro in a rap was good. Fried chicken was dry, nasty and had no crispy crunchy crust.. Spent over a hundred dollars and regretted every penny.
Clean place with moderately friendly service & ample parking. Food taste is consistently good. Atmosphere is clean. Not many places to sit & eat in. For small orders, the service is quick. Large orders are cooked to order. They do a lot of business so food is fresh either way. Salads are plain, basically some iceberg lettuce & a few veggies. Prices are reasonable. Only 4 stars due to quality control: 1) Chicken wings, while meatier & less greasy that surrounding places, has occasional feathers. 2) Also ordered a 12 piece wings & got 11. Normally get 12 ( once or twice 13). Still would recommend. Not sure if suitable for strict vegetarians since quality control isn't the best
Saffron Fine Indian Cuisine
Iāve heard a lot of good things about this place so I finally came. Yes thereās a lot of parking and the inside is big but the customer service is terrible.. I went on a Saturday around 1pm not many people in the restaurant so I thought it would be a great opportunity. They still had dishes on the table from the last party.. I order 2 Captain Morgan and Cokeās and exactly how you see it in the photo is how they serviced it to me. Itās definitely missing 2 sips ($10 each) but okay letās carry on. The fried fish nuggets were definitely delicious and the green sauce was amazing.. The lamb and rice was good and tender the extra sauce on the side is great. The mango shrimp and rice was not a good move. I had a whole bowl of sauce and 4 shrimps.. yes it taste like mango but not much flavor. The rice taste like it was uncle bens. I did enjoy the garlic naan bread. I wouldnāt come back due to the poor customer service. Also at the end of my bill they charged me $12 for each drink the lady said it was whisky in which it wasnāt. They did change it but how dare they over charge and not even fill my highball glass up. They probably do better with partyās, with the amount I spent at this restaurant Iām disappointed and wouldnāt recommend it.
We live near by and moved from the city a while ago and happy to see a good Indian restaurant. Atmosphere:āāā It's pretty desolate around 7pm on a weekday, however I see they have a banquet hall so I assume it fills up over the weekend pretty well. Looked pretty much north Indian and had a mild dhaba vibe to it. They played good Punjabi raps of sidhu moose wala and it was hip! Service:āāāāā The service is pretty good. The waitress greeted us, took our order promptly, and brought us our order in accordance to our request. The waiter and waitress came and checked in on us regularly to ask if everything is satisfactory, however I would love to see the same service on the rush hour. Presentation:āāāāā The presentation of the tea was well done ā . I appreciate the effort to serve tea authentically. Chicken 65 was served with no ketchup (I wish it was given on the side without asking for it as it is done in South India). Biryani was served with Rita, however I missed the onion & carrot salad with some lime on the side as it is supposed to be served. Taste: āāāāā Tea was outstanding š¤, could taste the cinnamon and was robust. Chicken 65 lacked some spice. Biryani was alright, I guess I'll never get hyderabadi Kachi dum biryani, but I liked what they served. Overall:āāāāā I would certainly comeback to taste the rest of the menu. Thank you for serving us last night.
Seoul Sizzle
Interesting place. Dropped by for lunch. You order ar the counter and they bring the food to your table. There is no waitstaff, so when you're finished, you bring your plates to a drop-off station. The food was very good and the presentation was very nice. It's definitely worth another visit
Cozy, quiet, clean with very friendly counter/wait person. It was my first time trying Korean cuisine since moving to NY and I was incredibly happy with the choices provided. Fell in love with the japchae, fresh side dishes and the ginger honey tea. Highly recommend this lovely gem in Middletown!š«¶š»š
Shing Kwong Restaurant
Stopped by here, these dumplings they have here have got to be genuinely some of THE BEST dumplings i have ever had ten fold. they are tender and flavorful. wonderful food, definitely visit if you have the time
Most bland tasting Chinese food in the area. Had egg rolls, house special lo mein, sesame chicken and crab wonton. For $55 you're better off grabbing frozen Chinese from the grocery store. Came only because China Wok was closed and they told us they had no lunch specials today, Sunday. No Pt/Qt portion options to choose from, chicken was hard and not sesame flavored at all. All around regrets. EDIT* 10minutes later and my fork doesn't even penetrate the chicken. Disgusting.
China City
For the longest. I have heard that this is the best in town but that is not my experience and I do not eat Chinese often enough to be picky. The crab Rangoon is not crispy, the rice is undercooked, the chicken is overcooked- some pieces are too tough to chew. If that wasn't enough, I also pulled a piece of plastic from my mouth.
Iām born and raised in Harlem New York , we are very adamant about the taste of Chinese food . This is by far the best tasting Chinese food Iāve tasted in the whole state of Connecticut
China King
My first and my last time ever going here !! Very unorganized stuff all over the place , the lady was taking her anger out on her employees idk if she was frustrated or what but itās no reason to act like that especially in front of customers . Meats sitting out for who knows how long !!, mind you my order took 30 mins !! š· . Iām so disappointed in my food it smelled old and nasty !! No manners .
Their food isnāt the greatest, but itās not the worst so we still order from them once in a while. However, tonight we ordered from them at 7:15 PM and they close at 8 PM. The app allowed us to order and we did so only to find out when we got there at 7:35 PM they were closed, they took our order. Pretty bad customer service.
