Yummy Yummy Asian Bistro
If you’re seeking a place that combines reliable and consistent quality with an authentic dining experience, look no further than this establishment serves up both Chinese and Japanese cuisine. I eat here weekly for the lunch specials. The menu is a delightful exploration of both Chinese and Japanese dishes, each beautifully crafted and bursting with authentic flavors. The service was commendable, with a courteous staff that was attentive without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offering recommendations that hit the mark perfectly. The ambiance of the restaurant is clean and quaint. The decor strikes a balance between authentic cultural elements and modern comfort, creating a cozy yet vibrant dining space. This establishment is a true testament to what authentic Chinese and Japanese cuisine should be. With its reliable, consistent quality, excellent service, and inviting atmosphere, it's easy to see why this restaurant has become a local favorite. Whether you're a fan of spicy Sichuan dishes, delicate sushi, or anything in between, you're guaranteed to leave satisfied.

Panda Garden
So good. So tasty. You know that feeling when you open the container and it looks amazing and smells amazing. Rare indeed. But the Chicken and Broccoli combo meal was all that and more. Super fresh, quality food. Delicious 😋 I used to order from here all the time. Changed what I ate. Now I'm back in a big way👍
When I look for some regular traditional Chinese takeout and nothing hybrid or overpriced, Panda Garden definitely comes through. I usually order delivery, and the woman on the phone is always pleasant and never seems rushed as we all know many take out places can seem. I've picked up from there in the past and do see that they have ample seating-more than a smaller takeout place would have. The food itself has always been good, and my regular selections have been wonton soup, spare ribs (with the bone), sesame chicken, shrimp with lobster sauce, and fried chicken wings. Their pork fried rice is also good. Solid altogether if you are in the mood for Chinese.
LB Bistro
My husband and I are still sitting at the table writing this review. Food was absolutely spectacular and the staff could not be more kind and hospitable. Here’s our recommendations (we’re absolute food snobs by the way): -scallops in beet puree (special that I hope makes it to the permanent menu-just unbelievable and lite) -roasted oysters -escargot -French onion chicken -apple tartine (chefs kiss) Kudos to the owner and chef here food is delicious. Can’t wait to come back! One of the few good restaurants in the area. Wow!
Very cute restaurant. Very few seats in the main dining room which I appreciate. We were able to get seated without a reservation which was nice. Sunday night was pretty busy. I started off with the foie and was very disappointed. They didn’t use any salt or finishing salt on the foie or any of the proteins on our meal for the evening. I had the scallop and shrimp dish and again, the fish and scallops had no salt. The veggies were seasoned though. My son had the steak, which we had to season at our table. The dishes were beautiful and lacked a ton of flavor which was a huge let down. Our server was a sweetheart but was in the weeds all night. The table next to us was on a date a very frustrated with how long it took to get our servers attention. She was sweet just overwhelmed. I got one dessert (it was delicious) and was charged for 2 somehow. The manager took care of it so no harm done
Jade Chinese Restaurant
Came in at 9 PM for a quick takeout. I ordered a small wonton soup and small white rice. And it wasn't good. The wonton tastes soggy and disgusting, it tastes old and looks old. The chips that come on the side were stale. That is the worst wonton soup I've ever had and I will not be coming back. I hope I don't get food poisoning. Paid $5 for those two times. Hopefully it's not $5 leading to sickness.
Whenever we come back to Long Beach this is the first restaurant we go back to because it's been our comfort food for nearly 20 years. The general tso's chicken and the orange beef are my favorite. Also love the egg drop soup and the hour and sour soup The chow fun is an awesome savory choice. So glad to see the original chef still here!
Number 1 Chinese Restaurant
Oh my god, I ordered a barbecued pork noodle. Maybe the food was not fresh enough, which made my stomach upset.
When I ordered my food ,I ask no MSG. I guest the cook does not no how to cook without it. He ended up dumping way to much salt in my food. Nasty. There was so much salt I had to rinse it. A no go to this place again. Oh ,I have order before no MSG at other places and the food was great
