Phenomenal quality for the price. Pictured plus the wonton soup not in the photo costed all of $34. The pork buns are great and so is the soup. This has become my go to as there is not many places open on Sundays
I don’t understand how this place has so many negative reviews. The food was delicious, the place is not fancy, it’s small, but it is very affordable, and it was clean. I was so happy that they had all a vegetarian section with mock chicken and beef, my husband had pork, and he said it was good. I wish I have this place close to where I live.
Mr. Wonton
Quick service and large portions! Came for lunch and got the lunch special which is an entree with rice plus soup. Ordered fried wontons because it’s in their name 😂 The AC wasn’t on inside for the majority of our meal and we could feel the sweat dripping down our backs as we ate. Not so fun eating inside on a hot day and still sweating. Regardless, food was your classic American Chinese fare. Yummy and filled the craving we were looking for.
Great location and a nice dining room. Service was great, and the food was amazing. Great price with even better taste. Amazing! (photos are from a takeout order from a second visit!🥰)
Tofu Sushi
Favorite Chinese/Japanese restaurant in the Park Slope area. Friendly and efficient staff, no brusque waiters here! My go to place for excellent crispy fried dumplings, dough is delicate and crispy, fillings are juicy and tender. A very limited selection of alcoholic beverages, but the consistently good food makes up for it.
My favorite Chinese spot in the area. Delicious food at great prices. It can get crowded at dinner time so try to arrive early. Is good for big groups and pretty enough to bring a date.
Authentic Szechuan
Absolutely horrible. We just sat to eat our dinner and are completely shocked and disappointed! Not sure who’s writing these high reviews, but you’ve been warned. The quality of the food is horrible. Ginger Chicken Pineapple super oily/greasy. The fried rice was mush and clumps! Even the bag of free crispy noodles were stale. My husband is so upset he’s ordering a pizza. Worse Chinese food we’ve ever had. Happy New Year ughhhh!
My husband and I have been ordering from here (and occasionally dining in) probably once a week since we moved to the neighborhood. Extremely consistent quality, great bang for your buck, and a huge menu with all the hits (not just Szechuan dishes). The food comes out crazy fast and it hits every time. Our favorites are the Chongqing spicy chicken, the twice-cooked pork lunch special, the pickled veg + fish soup, and salt & pepper chicken wings but really everything we’ve tried has been great. I love you Authentic Szechuan 🫶🫶🫶
Le Fleur Rouge
Le Fleur Rouge is a stunning gem in Brooklyn that masterfully blends French and Chinese cuisine with a distinct Shanghainese influence. From the moment you walk in, the beautiful interior sets the tone with a modern inviting elegance. Cocktails here are not just drinks. They are experiences with clean and balanced perfection both in taste and presentation. Pair em up with their friendly and knowledgeable staffs for great recommendations! Start with the fresh oysters that pushes beyond boundaries. Indulge in shrimp toast crowned with caviar. Let that seared Hokkaido scallops melt in your mouth. That crispy spicy chicken brings the heat in all the right ways minus the bones. Don’t miss the Tai-Chi fried rice which is a harmonious blend of two distinct flavors. For anyone curious about modern Chinese cuisine, Le Fleur Rouge is a must visit!
The food was good, pretentious, and very aware of that. I liked the duck. The portions are small, and it's not cheap. The waiter seemed a bit lost in the menu. Upscale atmosphere, relatively expensive.
Empire Express
Great food, great price. Some of the best American Chinese food, not authentic but still delicious. If you are trying to decide between expensive "authentic" Chinese restaurant that will most likely turn out to be meh and this absolutely great Americanized Chinese spot, there's not comparison. Empire Express every time.
Good Chinese food take out or eat in with a small daily buffet where you can select from. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rice or lo mein and one buffet item is currently $3.50. I would give it five stars but the broken floor tiles need to be replaced and the lavatory updated.
Food Lin
This spot is bomb af! I highly recommend the sesame shrimp and general tso’s chicken 🔥
The best Chinese in Park Slope, no question. Best service, fastest delivery, and most delicious
East Wind Snack Shop
We wanted to grab a quick bite before my wife had to go to a show in the city for work and I needed to make my way back home. It was the right amount of food and the right amount of time! It was also all very delicious! HEAT HOT but delicious as they are made fresh.
Only had takeout but very mediocre. Thought it would be better based on the reviews but I wouldn’t consider returning. The noodles were completely stuck together as one noodle blob. I even arrived to pickup earlier than 15 mins and it seems like to sat for awhile. Not worth the money. I had the Shanghai belly noodles.
Golden Shovel
I found this place when looking for some coffee near my workplace, but found they had AMAZING buns and dumplings. The chicken, pork and veggie buns are always delicious and the dumplings are very juicy, flavorful and filling. The chilli crunch that comes with them is sooo good!
Wow! So happy after walking past this place over ten times I finally went in! I noticed on the weekends that it’s busy so I figured it’s a good sign..and I love dumplings and haven’t found very good ones in park slope so today I got 6 pork and shrimp to go. I was waiting for the bus and couldn’t possibly stop myself from eating them while I waited and YES! so delicious, tender, homemade with love and care, whole pieces of shrimp and juicy pork. Tasted super fresh, and worth the 10 minute wait. I’ll definitely be back!
Joy Kitchen
I ordered general tso chicken it was delivered the chicken was spoiled. They told me bring it back for a refund. Instead of throwing it out when I got there she handed it to the cook. There was a guy who ordered a general tso at the same time I was returning mine. Idk...
It’s under new management/new owner, and there was a noticeable improvement in taste and quality. Still a good, standard Chinese fast food restaurant.
New China Tung Inc
Terrible portion size .. i ordered a 20$ meal and got almost 90% string beans (off Uber eats ) i thought digging and mixing would reveal more .. nope.
Ordered a beef broccoli with rice large size. You can only get the broccoli with 4-5 slices beef. Need to go other restaurant pay extra protein.
Nutritious Chinese Food
Local, healthy and super affordable, yet delicious Chinese food. I order about once a week. It's not oily like other NYC Chinese food and stays down easy in your belly. Owner makes food with care and sends you off with a smile. Please support your local small businesses.
Stopped in to pick up some dumplings to throw in a soup at home. It’s a one-woman show in there, and she’s doing great. Gave us extra dumplings, which are delicious!! Great value for the price.
