The menu had a wonderful variety of authentic Chinese dishes, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The service was top-notch as well. The staff was friendly, attentive. If you’re in the area and craving authentic Chinese food, don’t miss this gem!
It’s a good Chinese restaurant if you’re craving some dumplings or noodles. The food is fairly decent but nothing amazing. They have a good selection of some traditional dishes but the naming convention can be a tad confusing for some items. I do highly recommend the wontons and the pepper steak if you’re here.
Li Wan
Amazing service. Nice place to eat. Loved coming with my family to eat for all occasions. We will miss you. Please let us know if you will open in another area.
It's sad everytime I place an order if it's online or in person they forget something. Walked in today and they got my order or wrong and forgot my daughter fried noodles. This is the 4th time they always forget her fried noodles. Ask for boneless RIBS GOT BONE RIBS. Never going to buy from here again. It's a waste of money.
China House
The lady who picks up the phone is always annoyed, and simply hangs up on you when you are done telling your order. The Delivery guy is stressed out, tired and doesn’t have time nor patience for you. He’s worked all day, just give him a tip. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS, and always on time. Their sesame chicken is absolutely unmatched. They always follow my special request of extra EXTRA onions in the rice. In all, I recommend China House, and I wouldn’t change a thing about it.
Just a local Chinese food restaurant, service is always very pleasant and easy to understand. Food is consistently good. Prices have gone up a bit as of late but quality has continued to be excellent.
Wing Wah
This was my team’s go-to place for lunch for the two years I was there. Always consistent and well-priced — our old-reliable. I will miss this place and their meals 🥲 Shoutout to the owners for their unrelenting dedication of feeding us robotics-hungry children after we work in a basement all day
Good local place for delivery/take out mainly. The vegetarian options are cooked well and the sauces are flavorful without being goopy, seems like they don't use corn starch, which is a plus for me. Portion size is decent.
Open Rice Metropolitan
The concept of appetizers going from table to table was different but understanding (food presentation attract the eye and awakens the taste buds curiosity). The food was very flavorful and plentiful. The customer service was great and everyone was very attentive. Plenty of seating and the ambiance was nice. Children’s menu and vegan menu available. This is a must do if in town! Dr Collazo
The restaurant is located in midtown, so parking wasn't right outside the restaurant. We had to park in the parking deck by Target and walk a bit. The tables were a bit cramp. We ordered dim sum and had difficulty fitting the dishes on our tiny table for two. The dim sum was okay. The shrimp dumpling and shrimp rice noodle could have had a thinner skin. For $8.95 a dish I expected better. That literally means 1 shrimp dumpling cost more than $2, and I just don't think it reached that level. Chicken feet and sticky rice wrap were the best dishes. Flavor was good, and I liked how the sticky rice maintained the individual grain shape instead of mushing together. The egg tart didn't taste super fresh. The crust doesn't flake very much, and the bottom of the tart was soggy. Overall the service was good. However the dim sum is overpriced for the quality you get.
Wing Hing
For one I ordered over the phone .i was told 10-15 mins for two fantail shrimp and order of wontons . I arrived to the store about 5 mins after . She immediately took out my fantail shrimp . Not smelling anything I still ain’t think nothing of it . I ate my wontons I saved the shrimp for later . I go to heat up the shrimp .the batter is hard and extra greasy. Cool I decide to break open the second one and lo and behold a black strand of hair shinning at me. So I paid 4$ for two and only enjoyed one. Then she charged me for tarter sauce and wasn’t going to say so for me to have hair in my sh&$
Nice owners they have been here for years. I love the chicken, wings and french fries. Nothing fancy, but they taste good.
East Met West
I ordered the beef and broccoli lunch set and it was delicious as usual even though they messed up my order a little bit. Great value for $9.50
The food is so tasty, and the lunch special portion size is substantial. I especially enjoy the Hunan Style and Szechuan Style options and all of the brown sauce dishes. Never more than a ten minute wait for food.
Golden Dragon Kitchen
Pretty basic Chinese take-out spot. Nothing special but it gets the job done. It’s a frequent spot that my coworkers and I order from. Food is always hot, orders are always made fast and are always correct.
Solid Chinese spot, generous serving. No frills restaurant but decent lunch specials
Greenleaf
Fong Kwan has finally reopened, for takeout service. EDIT: they now have limited indoor dining, two separate small tables. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required for dine-in. Very good reliable Cantonese menu plus some Thai dishes too. Good Cantonese style take out I used to be able to find more frequently, this still had some great familiar choices at great prices.
A run-of-the-mill Chinese place with a couple of tables to dine in. Food is what you'd expect. The portion sizes are decent as are the prices.
Golden Fountain Kitchen
Pretty standard Chinese food restaurant. The food took about 10 minutes so that was pretty quick. The food tasted good and fresh. The staff was efficient but not so friendly, which isn’t too uncommon. All in all, I give this place four stars because the food was good but not the best that I have had.
Not the same food from years ago. Very disappointed in the quality and taste of the food. Boneless ribs were dry with no sauce. Shrimps were mushy. Egg roll was not crispy. Rice was bland. Horrible!!!!
Xin Xing Chinese Restaurant
The food is good and the owner is very friendly. Plus they have a few spanish sides like sweet plantains. And they have diet pepsi. Most places only have diet coke. Also the prices are decent. I recommend
Excellent food, excellent service. Also award winning pastry chef has baked goods in store as well. Highly recommend!
Panda Express
Great location. Friendly efficient and quick service. Nice cashiers. They ask how many sauces you want which is nice. They also fill the cartons to the top which is great because some places do not. The noodles are better prepared than other locations which do not care. There is also plenty of seating with good air condition. It seams like too many businesses are cheap with that.
DO NOT ORDER AT THE KIOSK. The kiosk is advertised to allow you to “skip the line”. However, both myself and several other customers who ordered at the kiosk had to wait until every single customer on the line (even the ones that came way after we order) got their food. Just totally ridiculous, if I had known that I would have just waited on the line.
