New Jin Xin
My go to local takeout for classic Chinese fried chicken, chicken/beef and broccoli. Dishes aren’t oily and a balanced ratio of meat, vegetables and rice
Please- do not eat here..I walked in and was disgusted at the place is kept..to keep it brief and not bash the store anymore than needed- i payed for my lunch got home and threw it in the trash were it belongs!!!!!
Red Sun
I found a long piece of metal in my rice. Be careful eat slowly.
I placed a combination plate. i spoke clearly with the young girl on the phone and told her what i wanted and she wound up bring giving me two different orders. its not my fault she misunderstood me.. and the delivery expected me to pay all the money for something i didnt order.. so i told the delivery i dont want anything.. then i called and spoke the the girl AGAIN and she hung up the phone on me.. ( how ruse of that little girl ) ill never order from there again!!
Jin Jin Hong Kong Cafe
Great cantonese restaurant. I only ordered takeout style food but will be back to try other food.
I've been here so many times, and it's been a great experience each time. The food's especially fantastic here, last time I went with a friend we got the Singapore Mei Fun (vegetables only) and Sweet Potato Tempura rolls as entrees. Both tasted absolutely amazing. We also got the steamed vegetable gyoza and scallion pancakes as appetizers, which I also recommend getting. The prices are also surprisingly good, we didn't end up paying that much despite how much we ordered. The restaurant also has such a great atmosphere. Is it perfect? Of course not. But there's a reason it's one of the only restaurants I consistently eat at. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!
Dragon Garden
This is an amazing place to get food, the people are very nice and they were very fast in making everything. They accommodated me when I used two types of payment and even gave me extra sauce and paper plates when I asked. If you're in the area and would love some great Chinese food from very neighborhood friendly people, swing by Dragon Garden!
I order for my family at least once a month from here. We enjoy the food.
Good Day
My family and I are regulars at this friendly neighborhood restaurant serving truly authentic Cantonese dim sum and dishes. If you’re craving anything, the kitchen is happy to work with you! The portions are generous and prices are affordable. It gets very busy on the weekends so be prepared to wait for a table. What I love most is that they make steamed parsley rice noodles with sweet soy to order, which is one of my favorite dim sum.
My friend and I went there for lunch (dimsum). When we got there, we got seated quickly, and the ladies who pushed the carts came and asked us what we would like to eat. The dimsum is good and would recommend!
YIXIN RESTAURANT 富味轩
It had been a while since we last visited this restaurant, especially after its recent renovations. The place now feels improved - cleaner and more organized. We thoroughly enjoyed their authentic Cantonese cuisine, with generous portions at reasonable prices. We’ll definitely be returning.
I was there for dinner, some of the dishes need to pre-order. It was delicious.
Dun Huang 敦煌兰州拉面
The restaurant is located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. They prepare Chinese cuisine. I ordered the Taiwan sausage appetizer. It is similar to a hot dog and was served on a wooden skewer. The crab meat steamed dumplings were six in the order. They were very soft and watery. The chicken pan fried noodles were similar to lo mein noodles with little chicken. The food was average in taste and flavor. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cozy interior, clean. They immediately bring water or green tea for free. Our whole family loves their lanzhou noodle non spicy and spicy version. You can choose thinner or thicker noodles. Children love to take tasty drinks from the refrigerator themselves. The food is delicious. Rich broth, tasty meat, great noodles. Children love this place.
New HK Tea & Sushi
Decent neighborhood spot with classic HK options as well as sushi + Japanese menu items. This spot is always packed every time I go, but customer turnover is relatively quick. Came as a party of 6 on New Year's Day and waited only ~10 min for a table. Their sushi here is not bad. I ordered their 3 roll lunch special, which allows us to pick from ~15 different classic rolls. A lot of menu Set items come with miso soup, which is nice. The Beef Chow Fun was a bit oily, but still pretty good + had tender beef. The salmon in the HK Style Set was a bit dry, but the mild pepper sauce that came with it helped. We chose to have the set with spaghetti, which was a bit sweet, per HK style. Lastly, the Shrimp Tempura roll was solid and always a crowd favorite.
HK Tea & Sushi, a Bay Parkway restaurant, uniquely blends a sushi bar and Hong Kong cafe. Portion is big and affordable. I like coming here for their baked rice/spaghetti. I ordered their french toast, portuguese porkchop rice, beef egg sandwich, and their HK milk tea.The French toast and beef egg sandwich were disappointing, with the French toast being bland and the beef sandwich was lacking a satisfying flavor combination. The Portuguese pork chop at HK Tea and Sushi was delicious due to its tender meat, flavorful seasoning, and crispy crust. It's enough to serve 2 people. I went during lunch time and inside was already packed. I also see that many people order takeouts. This is the only place that I know that actually makes delicious baked rice/ spaghetti and I'll be back here again just for it.
Qingshu 86 Spicy Hot Pot 青蔬麻辣烫
This place is a dream for dry pot lovers. You pick all your own ingredients—meats, veggies, tofu, whatever you want—and they toss it in the wok with the most flavorful spices. The 1-pound minimum sounds like a lot, but trust me, it’s easy to hit with all the options. However, if you don’t hit the 1 pound minimum then they charge you for the soup base — $3.50, which I wasn’t a huge fan of. They speak pretty good Cantonese and English! I didn’t like how you always had to get up to ask for water or to order food or to get the check or even a takeout box! Other than that, the flavors are bold, smoky, and spicy (they don’t play with spice levels, so be ready!). Perfect spot if you’re craving something customizable and delicious. Quick service, good vibes, and seriously addictive food. Highly recommend!
Good soup bowl with lots of add on option and affordable price. It’s like hot pot but you don’t need to work for your meal. You pick the ingredients and they will prepare it for you. A good option if you want something different in the heart of 86th street food scene.
Hong Kong Bay Cafe
The rice with sliced melon and pork is not bad👍~~
Dumpling Queen
After driving past here a couple of times, we decided to try this spot out. I’ve came here three times already and the food is great! We were a big fan of the dumplings, braised beef noodles, and the tomato eggs over rice. I also like how there’s a self serve station with sauces (chili oil, soy sauce, vinegar, peanut sauce) and other toppings like cilantro and green onions. There were also pickled radish which I love a lot. Overall, great food and a very spacious restaurant.
I tried their rainbow dumplings combo, dumplings with soup combo, wonton with chili oil. I love their ox tail with mushroom soup the most, it was hot and full of flavors even has a dry scallop in it. I'm going to go back and try the rest of their soups for sure! The dumplings are not bad, I also like their sauce station. The dining area was clean and spacious. The place is self service and no tipping required. I love it!
Golden Bay Kitchen
My favorite chinese restaurant in Brooklyn, you must try their Taishan yellow eel claypot rice that come with free tofu soup. Stir fried lotus root with preserved pork is also delicious. 👍👍
Fantastic food and reasonable prices. The Taishan eel claypot rice is a must try. It is always understaffed here, expect to wait for food. And it is underrated on Google, not too many eaters know this place, only locals know it, like me. Recommend.
