( how ruse of that little girl ) ill never order from there again!!
Dun Huang 敦煌兰州拉面
The restaurant is located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. They prepare Chinese cuisine. I ordered the Taiwan sausage appetizer. It is similar to a hot dog and was served on a wooden skewer. The crab meat steamed dumplings were six in the order. They were very soft and watery. The chicken pan fried noodles were similar to lo mein noodles with little chicken. The food was average in taste and flavor. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cozy interior, clean. They immediately bring water or green tea for free. Our whole family loves their lanzhou noodle non spicy and spicy version. You can choose thinner or thicker noodles. Children love to take tasty drinks from the refrigerator themselves. The food is delicious. Rich broth, tasty meat, great noodles. Children love this place.
YIXIN RESTAURANT 富味轩
It had been a while since we last visited this restaurant, especially after its recent renovations. The place now feels improved - cleaner and more organized. We thoroughly enjoyed their authentic Cantonese cuisine, with generous portions at reasonable prices. We’ll definitely be returning.
I was there for dinner, some of the dishes need to pre-order. It was delicious.
Fortune Palace
food came out quick but everything was served cold.. we had a total of 9 dishes and it totaled to approximately $500 with no tip included. the food itself was quite flavorless and needed to be sent back to the kitchen to be reheated. there are plenty of other local chinese places that can be supported instead of this one, i would not recommend this place at all
It will be busy with long wait list on weekend morning. Most dishes meet expectation for good dimsum. Good dimsum option if you live locally. Like that they have food cart coming around, but would love to it see more frequently. Chicken feet is a must have. Egg custard bun isn’t the best, would be great if they have the savory-sweet runny filling with strong egg yolk flavor.
Golden City 煌嘉囍宴
We were at this really for a party. It’s very spacious, with sections available for banquets and parties. Interior is not so modern but good enough to dine in. They make some really delicious food though. I got to try the shark fin soup, shrimp walnut, fried tofu, steamed fish, seared steak, lobster with garlic sauce, all were super tasty. The soy chicken was little dry though. For dessert coconut jelly was so good, I am still eating them a day later. The staff were amazing. They made sure all the dishes were served in time, cleared out empty dishes, gave us fresh new small plates, and helped us to pack leftovers. I had a wonderful dinner here. I would not mind coming back here if I am in the area.
expected atmosphere from a traditional chinese restaurant. it’s chaotic with loud chinese music, guests who are waiting for tables are just everywhere, and the food is what you expect. we came for dim sum on chinese new year and didn’t wait actually because we were a big group. the downside is at one point they straight up said the kitchen couldn’t keep up so dim sum came around somewhat slowly.
Panda Express
Tasty fast food in a mediocre environment with ok service. Not cheap for what you get compared to small business Chinese food.
Services was fast with a lot of choices. I like that they let you try a few items and not rush you through the line. will eat here again nice staff.
Taste Of China
Delivery came promptly. The food was disappointing. The fried chicken was too brown, over fried and so dry and stringy. The pad thai had nothing but noodles, no sprouts, no eggs, no peanuts, no scallions, and too few mini shrimps. The pad thai had no taste except for the lime wedge. My friend said the dumplings were good and the fried rice was just okay. So, with this experience, I will not order from Taste of China again.
Made to order, fresh ingredients! Lunch special chicken with brocoli, white rice and a hot and sour soup for $9. I wish the hot and sour soup was more spicy though
Laghman Express
Me and my boyfriend have always passed by this spot whenever we’re driving but we never thought to stop by. It wasn’t until I searched it up on google maps and I was shook that this spot had 5.0 stars with over 1,000 reviews. We decided to give this spot a try and this is truly a hidden gem. I can definitely see why this spot is rated so highly. The food was delicious and it came out piping hot! Everyone here was super nice and welcoming and that elevated the experience 100x. Everything was super flavorful and still tasted very clean and not too heavy. We will definitely be coming back here to try other dishes! (Even as I’m writing this review, I still remember how delicious everything was. I might need to stop by again soon this week!) If you’re looking for some delicious food, definitely give this spot a try!
If you are making a trip to Brooklyn, Laghman is a MUST. Absolutely amazing food! The dry noodles are phenomenal. We also got a chicken curry dish, naan and dumplings. The dumplings were seasoned perfectly with an accompanying sauce that enhanced the flavor. The price is beyond affordable and service was great too.
MINY Village Restaurant 粵順軒
This is one of good local Cantonese restaurants in the neighborhood. It has HK style BBQ stand with roasted pig, char siu, scallions chicken and soy sauce chicken. Dinner serves variety of food. Food tastes good. Staffs are nice.
The food was decent, but the service left much to be desired. We had to wait quite a while for our order, and some items were forgotten. The atmosphere was nice, but overall, it didn’t quite meet my expectations.
Panda
I don’t get these reviews at all! The food was gross! One thing I hate is when the fried rice isn’t FRIED instead the give you YELLOW rice! And the shrimp was FAR from fresh! This was a waste of money! Update the shrimp clearly was fresh and I ended up with the runs! Beware!!!!
The food is okay but the woman who answers the phone is so rude and screams over the phone like she’s deaf. Hangs up before you can even give her a card number and tip the customer service is just really bad. We keep your business open start looking at your reviews and start fixing your issues!
