Food Sing
Food Sing Hudson N.Y. (Warren Street) this was my first try at this take-out since the Chinese take-out down the block closed. I was pleasantly surprised, extremely clean surrounding, chicken wings was lightly deep fried and not oily. Half deep fried chicken also good and light and not oily. Spare ribs was over cooked a bit, adequate. House special fried rice cooked with fresh ingredients,(chicken,Chau su,carrots) should have had more seasoning and scallion.I also ordered stir fry chicken with vegetables, a bit disappointing since vegetables was overcooked, sesame chicken had nice flavor but over cooked ,a bit dry. Overall for quick night take-out, give this place a try, ingredients are fresh, certain dishes would have to be tweaked to your palette.
Got takeout from here on Xmas. It was the only thing open on all of Warren Street that day. The food was pretty good for Chinese takeout. I really liked the hot and sour soup. The shrimp and broccoli was also pretty good. I wasn’t a big fan of the Lo Mein.
Red Dot Restaurant & Bar
This restaurant is a hidden gem for burger lovers. The burger was perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor, with a nice balance of toppings that didn’t overwhelm the taste of the meat. The bun was fresh and lightly toasted, holding everything together without getting soggy. The service was friendly and attentive, making the overall dining experience even better. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone craving a standout burger and a laid-back atmosphere.
We stumbled upon Red Dot Restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. This little gem offers good service and delicious food, with plenty of seating in the dining area. The hostess was fantastic and seated us at a nice spot up front. I'd definitely go back!
Wunderbar Bistro
Really fun and cozy atmosphere, the back room has a real fire facing a little table and leather couch that is lovely to enjoy while waiting for food or the bill. There was also an arcade cabinet with multiple games on it. Service was good, and food was delicious. We especially enjoyed the Garlic Parm Wings as appetizers, as well as authentic French Onion Soup. Burgers and fries and other meals including Schnitzel and sandwiches. Very cozy, clean, and well maintained. The menu was clearly marked with ingredients and gluten free options or options that could be made so. Several local beers on tap as well as a cocktail menu, and Pepsi as their soda of choice.
The food and service were amazing! Louie (the cook) made delicious food. I got the teriyaki steak rice bowl and my mom got the rodeo burger. They both were nothing short of amazing. Devon (our bartender) was very welcoming and attentive. Definitely recommend and we will be coming back.
Wasabi
Dined here in Nov 2024 but giving updated review for April 12, 2025 visit. The ambiance, service, and food are excellent. I added a few additional pictures of our visit today. The prices are reasonable as well.
Absolutely amazing sushi! The service is super quick and friendly, and the quality of fish is fresh! It’s earned the title of my go to❤️
BackBar
Been coming here for several years now. I think 2019, but the memory is fading, hence these Google reviews/ journal. The food is always good. Menu changed up a bit since the first time. It’s got “ East Asian” flavors in a lot of their dishes, aka it’s never bland, although sometimes it can be a bit too salty. I say that because my partner in crime is salt sensitive. I hate saying Asian flavors, because Asia is so damn big, it never makes sense. But to pinpoint a country would be hard for me. Malaysian could ring true because that’s one country that has both south and East Asian flavors. Service has changed too, but that’s happening all over the country, me thinks. Expect to get but my mosquitoes if dining outside during warmer times. The inside, especially the front half is cozy during cooler months. When I’m in town, with a limited amount of time and room to eat, I somehow always make it here. Like the other restaurants, the hours and days they’re open can be confusing depending on season.
We had dinner outside. It was perfect. My kids really didn’t behave but nobody cared. We ordered 3 plates to share and drinks. I thought it was pleasant. The noodles were salty but my kids loved it . I had the bao buns .it was delicious. I liked my waiter and the fact that they are giving you a biper . It was fast and nice.
Yummy Kitchen
we've been wanting to go here so a little while... definitely did not disappoint... was filling and flavors were amazing... legit, probably the best tofu I've ever had
This is from the yummy Kitchen located at the Chatham Berry Farm. Maybe the best food I've ever had out of a food truck. Great size portions at a fair price. If they say you eat with your eyes this is about as good as it gets. Just look at the photos. Make sure to get the fried eggplant. Absolutely delicious!
