Dragon Garden
I got to say their boneless spareribs are absolutely absolutely dish delicious. They weren’t soaked in sauce. They were nice little strips.
Food was decent, lacked broccoli completely with there sesame chicken combo. It’s 2023 and for some reason they don’t accept cards, cash only, so be prepared. Probably would have given the atmosphere rating more, but due to the flies flying around and what I believe was a sheet hanging to separate the front from back was kinda ugh.
Sogo Sushi
Nice atmosphere. I walked in for a quick bite and the staff were very welcoming. I was in my car, waiting for less than 15 minutes and the staff delivered the sushi to my car! Amazing service and great food
Sogo Sushi, Hope Plaza,West Coxsackie N.Y. small bistro style with typical Japanese decor, this was once a dine in restaurant which changed to strictly take out due to pandemic regulations. Shrimp tempura was too heavy, batter should be light and crispy, miso soup was quite bland and spicy salmon roll was fresh but very bland. This restaurant has potential if a little effort implemented and spices added when preparing food, portions small .$$

Yet another incredible place. And yet another spot I find myself coming back to on the regular! Out of all the places I’ve been to in Coxsackie, this one is definitely one of my favorites. Everything I’ve tried here is always delicious—fresh, flavorful, and honestly, you can tell they care about what they’re serving. Oh, and let’s not forget… HEALTHY! You know the Mediterranean diet is one of the healthiest in the world, and this place makes eating clean feel like a treat, not a chore. What I love most is how easy it is to swing by, even last minute. If you’re ever short on time, seriously—skip McDonald’s or any of those fast food spots and pull up here instead. You get real food, made fresh, and you leave feeling good about it. My personal favorite? The chicken shawarma—hands down. Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and just packed with flavor. And if you haven’t tried it with pickled beets on top, do it. Game changer. That combo hits every time. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or picking up dinner on the way home, this place never misses. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
Staff was so helpful and patient as I chose from the menu, you’d think it was easy but the options are so tempting it’s hard to choose just one! So I got all four of the main items: Chicken Shawarma; Mediterranean Burrito (in a bowl); Greek Meatball; Falafel plus a small bowl for myself with no garlic or onions :( which was delicious anyway! (Just Greens and Quinoa, believe it or not it was delicious just plain.) Thank you, Simone!!
Reds Restaurant
Been to reds a couple times each time has been great. I got the calamari for appetizer which was good, kind of bland needed some seasoning but marinara was great for dipping. Got the prime rib which was delicious cooked and seasoned great. My guest had the king crab legs which were huge and tasted great, very sweet. Only thing I didn't like was the fact they charge for refills on soda but I will be back again.
It's gone downhill in the last few years. My wife and I with a couple of friends had dinner there 2 years ago, and everything that could go wrong, went wrong. I decided to give it another swing for my birthday yesterday, simply because I wanted raw oysters. We started by having the waitress spill the oyster water/ice on me. She apologized and said she was new. Fair enough. She also brought me a can of beer I didn't order. Instead of being a jerk, I tasted it, found it acceptable and let it slide. The oysters and my wife's steamers didn't disappoint. Her salad and my soup come out next. She's 3 bites into her salad and picking out the brown lettuce. I only had a cup of chowder, but I wasn't finished when the entrees showed up. Her $75 King Crab legs were stone cold and she sent them back to get heated. My $55 twin lobster tails were lukewarm at best. At that point, I really wanted to just get up and leave, but we salvaged it. I grumbled through my tails and they were kind enough to sing me Happy Birthday for dessert. $259.21 after a $40 tip. I still tipped the young lady, as she was very sweet and nice, but I think she yet has a lot to learn. I don't know who orchestrated the timing of the food, but that was completely fumbled. We may go back over the summer just for the oysters and clams, unless I find a better option. It's too bad. My father was very fond of the Saratoga location for years.
Paul's Pizza & Pasta
So awesome and such great food.. made me a chicken parm roll which rivaled if not beat anything roll wise I've ever eaten b4!! Food was delicious!!!
We ordered tonight before a snowstorm because frankly we were too tired to cook, and didn't notice until we got home that they had forgotten to give us all of the condiments and sauces/salsas for the food we got. When I called just to let them know, because we got charged for those items, the girl who took our order personally drove the sauces they didn't give us to my house. Honestly absolutely floored by how kind she was and how intent she was to right the mistake- I was going just to ask for a refund of the items we didn't receive. The food was honestly quite excellent- the wings were **massive** to the point I was only able to eat three of them and will have leftovers for days. The fries were great- crisp and super perfect, if undersalted, and the fried mushrooms and mozzarella 'logs' were great.
