Gymkhana Cuisine Of India
It's a nice small restaurant situated in a strip mall. The name of the restaurant is so catchy unfortunately its far from everything. Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food was excellent everything we ordered was cooked accordingly. I would recommend the Kodi vepudu and lamb mapas. The chicken biryani pretty good, however wasn't authentic. The garlic naan was extremely garlicy. Atmosphere: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The restaurant was recently renovated and on a Thursday evening the restaurant looked pretty packed with frequent and diverse customers. The bathrooms are massive and so clean. Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Although the service was pretty good, it's hard to give 5 stars only because each time I said thank you, there was no acknowledgement of being cordial towards the customer in return. The person who took the order however was very good and was engaging in conversations with everyone making them feel welcomed and comfortable. The dress codes of the waiters aren't very appealing to the eye especially when they are stained. The TV kept playing baseball instead of playing Bollywood music or something of Indian tradition. Advice: Get new dining tables and chairs, they look 15 years old and don't match the atmosphere. Use authentic Indian wall hangings and ambient lighting.
Taken here by friends who really love the food here. It was amazing, very authentic delicious flavours and aromas. They have my favourite naan (peshwari) and a great variety of curries. The service was very good and friendly. Nice relaxing atmosphere and obviously popular, with lots of customers in and ordering out
Hudson Buffet
On 10/28/24 at 11am I went to the buffet in fish kill to get take out. Once I got home I decided to eat my takeout for lunch before work. I noticed a something suspicious in my food that looks like a insect. I instantly called the Chinese buffet to explain to them about the this thing in my food that looks like a insect, they asked me to send pictures which I did. After that, I haven't heard nothing more from them. So I decided to bring the food back to show them before work. The lady at the buffet told me it's mushroom. I never seen a mushroom that looks like that! . It was literally in the bokchoy containers and there wasn't any mushroom in the bokchoy vegetable containers when I was getting my food. They refused to give us back refund. While getting your good I notice there's flies flying around the food and dessert. This was my favorite buffet but they gave me a wake up call yesterday to never eat chinese food ever again!
Avg typical asian buffet style food. Grabbed mine to go. The braised pork belly was my fav item. Check out rep not very personable or acknowledged me.
