Tasty little food truck on a pullout. Curry puffs were absolutely delicious, highly recommend! There are a lot of authentic dishes here and the owner is very friendly, can't wait to go back.

What an unexpected TREAT! Looking for a quick food stop as we were traveling up Route 22 we spotted this food truck - with several cars parked around it. Figured we’d give it a go and were delighted to find it was Malaysian food. We had the chicken and rice (best ever chicken and rice / the flavor is rich and amazing) fried wonton - YUM with chili sauce, steamed rice dumpling (perfect) and Thai Bubble Tea - the most beautiful tea leaf flavor with tapioca pearls. Cant wait for our next trip up 22 to try more. Do yourself a flavor and treat yourself to this divine and gracious dining experience in Pawling.

Best Chinese food I ever had! My gut is quite sensitive to bad ingredients so I don't really eat takeout anymore. I heard about this place and this is my 5th trip and everything so far not only tastes absolutely excellent! But it is clearly quality ingredients! Best pork egg rolls ever! Highly recommend trying!! I'm making my way through the menu and have not been unsatisfied by a single dish and most are exceptional in comparison to my past favorites!

Place is awful customer service they gave me sesame chicken with Bones In it and when I called they told me the manager doesn't do refunds 🙄

This review is for VP's Poughkeepsie Galleria location, since I didn't want to overwrite my previous post there. I was actually in the mood for pizza, but I couldn't pass up the daily special of flautas! I got them w/ steak, perfectly paired w/ rice & beans.

Birria tacos were delicious. Tortillas fresh. Manager was kind.

Wasn’t really in the mood to cook. Drove past the plaza and saw the sign and tried this place out. Been coming back quite a few times. The prices are good and the food is good. The people behind the counter are always nice too. Only gave a mediocre atmosphere review because it’s a pick up place. Not set up for dining. Let me warn anyone ordering, this is a very busy place, so make sure you have a menu and know what you want ahead of time. Whenever I place my order, I see over 20 orders picked up in the 10 to 15 minutes that I’m waiting. The volume this location is pumping out is amazing.

Amazing food every time. I ordered the general tso and shrimp Lo mein. Big portion sizes, not spicy and they don’t skimp on the ingredients. As well as being super affordable they also are consistent with every single order. Love this place and love that no matter what I order I can always say I enjoyed it.

Update - November 2022: Inflation has reached our beloved China Express and each scoop is now $1.35 😔. Still a bargain compared to most other takeout 🥡 locations. -- Original Review (January 2020) $1.00/scoop for hot Chinese food? Yes! $2.16 for a lunch size portion of Bourbon Chicken & Fresh Steamed Broccoli. Same quality food you get in the Mall food court for less than half the price.

Great beer, tasty food, friendly people, need I say more? Cool laid-back venue with nice outdoor patio. Can watch soccer during Euro thankfully, surprisingly many beer places in the area have no tvs/idea about the major soccer events. Food was yummy, maybe a tad pricey but did not disappoint. Would come back.

Came on a Saturday evening and it was definitely busy but we were able to get in right away. They have a large building with ample seating, it’s great for groups. For beer, my husband tried the half baked and grounded roots, gave both a thumbs up. For food, we often go for the fried chicken sandwich. It’s always fresh and a large portion. Sometimes I get the burger and that’s good too. We tried the chilaquile tater tots this time. They sounded good but didn’t live up to my expectations, wouldn’t recommend. Our server Kassi did a great job! She had a ton of tables but was very speedy and attentive.

This was one of the best Chinese food experiences I’ve ever had! And I’ve had a lot! We had the shrimp and lobster sauce, hot and sour soup, egg rolls, and General Tso’s chicken. It was crispy well sauced and delicious. highly recommended

Amazing food. Great quality and portion size. I’ve never gotten a wrong order or a missing item from this business. This is my go to Chinese restaurant right now.

The staffs were nice and very friendly. However, the menus were a stacked of paper and so dirty, with food stains and leftover rice in it. I hope they have a better presentation of the menu soon. If you order sushi rolls or sushi entree and you want your personal plate with the sushi you ordered, you may need to tell the waiter or chef to place it separately per order. Because they put everything on a large plate. It is not convenient at all. It may not be a good idea to have a business dinner. We ended up just ask for an extra plate to separate by ourselves.

Let me just start this review by saying the 3 star review has nothing to do with the food. Had I ordered for take out, I probably would have given Izumi 5 stars. We ordered steak and shrimp, and kids steak meals, was asked if we wanted noodles with our order and we all said yes. The chef came and cooked our meal, the chef put on a good show and the food was great. Steaks and shrimps were soft and perfectly cooked, the rice was flavorful, the vegetables were good, as were the noodles. After the meal, we receive the bill and found out each of us who got noodles were charged 5 dollars per meal for noodles. Not a big deal, but wasn’t communicated to us at all. I then give; who I believe was the owner, my credit card to pay for the meal and she took it upon herself to add a $39.99 tip. The tip was a justifiable amount for the bill however, I did not appreciate them adding a tip to my bill without saying anything. If gratuity is included with the bill, that’s completely different, however, she just decided upon herself to tip this amount and add it to my card. I probably won’t be going back and that’s a real shame because the food as I said was great.

Great hot pot place! Service was good too. Cook your own food in broth after a whole day of swimming was perfect for the kids. They got our orders right and brought it in a very timely manner. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff sang for her and gave her a slice of cake with candle to blow. Very friendly staff and attentive to our table.

I’ve been to many Kpots in different states, but this one is by far my favorite! The restaurant had a beautiful, lively interior. My favorite part was the iPad ordering system, which had pictures of every single item, making it so easy to order exactly what you wanted—amazing! I did both hot pot and KBBQ, which was an additional $5, but totally worth it to enjoy both experiences. The only downside was the service towards the end of our meal. I assume it’s because we ordered everything ourselves, but we had to wait quite a while to catch the server’s attention for the check. Despite that, I will absolutely come back because the food was just that good! All the meats were fresh, tender, and delicious. I’m getting hungry again just thinking about it!

The waiter’s service is great, deliver everything we need right away. The price for food is very reasonable. A bit disappointed of the NY strip that we ordered. Ordered 2 sets of NY strip, both end up over cooked. Everything else taste good in this price range.

If I am in the Fishkill Plains area this is the Chinese Restaurant of choice for me. Tonight I enjoyed the General Tso chicken combo and a shrimp roll. The sauce was perfect. Does not make you feel too full and is perfect for a quick, tasty lunch or dinner. Very easy to place a telephone order and my food was ready and hot when I arrived. Thank you very much for a great quick dinner on the go. I will be back.

Best Chinese food I’ve had in Dutchess county. Chicken and broccoli was very good, the lo mein was very good. The dumpling were ok. Will be back.

Food is great, I just wish they were honest with their wait time when you call ahead. Told us 30 minutes until it was ready, ended up waiting another 30 minutes after I got there.

we do take out. a couple of tables if you want to sit. love the crab Rangoon. never a long wait.
