Walking in, the place smelled amazing and made me really excited to try the food. Our cashier was really friendly. The restraunt is take out only. You come inside to order and can get your food inside or through a walk up window. The food came out quick and oh boy was it good! The tandoori chicken rice box was SO delicious. They make their Nan bread and shawarma to order, and everything was hot and freash. The yogurt sauce on top was so delicious and it made the chicken 10 times better that it already was! The portions (at least of the rice boxes) are fairly large. I am a fairly small person and I had enough food left from my regular sized box to have a second meal. They offer 2 large sizes that are meant to split as well as offering catering.

I’ve tried a few Indian dishes before but THIS restaurant is literally my new favorite. The freshness flavor and presentation was top notch! We ordered grub hub delivery at like 10. Even at that late at night the food was amazing. I loved everything we ordered and cannot get the fresh cucumber flavor from the white sauce out of my mind. I even called this afternoon to let management know how great it was ! We love you guys! Thank for providing us with such amazing food!

We had an amazing pre-theater dinner at Nai Restaurant before seeing a holiday show at Alleyway Theater. We made reservations, and our table was waiting for us when we arrived. The selection of Thai, Burmese, and Japanese entrees - including bubble tea - and appetizers is vast! We tried a mix of appetizers including the vegetable samosas and edamame. Our entrees included red curry, pad thai, and homestyle chicken curry. The food came out piping hot and was cooked to our exact spice-level requests, which was awesome. All of the food was very flavorful, fresh, and very well cooked and prepared. We also tried lychee bubble tea with tapioca and a thai iced tea. They were great! This is a hidden gem at the end of Main Street and you should add it to your pre-downtown event rotation. It’s close to the arena, the theatre district, the comedy club, the casino, and the convention center. They also offer takeout through DoorDash and Square. Highly recommend! 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food is incredible, Banh Mi was bigger than expected for an app…samosas were very crispy

This was DELICIOUS. I’m from Ohio, and this place was cheaper but even better than my favorite place where I live. I tried to do some research on the best Chinese takeout spots around and this is what a bunch of people recommended, they were right. It’s too bad I probably won’t be back to Buffalo any time soon, I’d definitely be coming here often. We stopped in and they said it would be ready in 15 minutes. And the man working the register was so kind too! :)

After looking at some photos of the food and seeing how it’s similar to my family’s restaurant, I decided to give it a try. It’s amazing! Tastes like home. For a cheap price, they’ll fill your box up to the top and leave you full and satisfied. Highly recommend checking this place out! I’ll definitely come back for more.

My husband and I had dinner here last night. I feel like this place is the best kept secret in Buffalo! Service is amazing and the food is fresh, high quality and decently priced. I ordered crab rangoons and General Tso Chicken, and my husband had vegetable lo mein and szechuan chicken. My favorite thing is that the chicken is moist on the inside- you don't get any tough, dried out pieces like you do with other chinese places. We will definitely be back again!

Family of Singaporeans on the way to Niagara stumbles into Chinese Restaurant run by a Malaysian. How quaint!? We always loved the US version of the sour and spicy soup and this does not disappoint. My daughter raved about the wanton soup. The sweet and sour pork is rock solid. Properly batter and fried pork, vinegar tomato sauce with pineapple chunks. It hit all the right notes with us. Being Singaporeans, we always try the Singapore Noodles which is not available back home. Full of wok hei, I have to say this is better than Mama's. The pork fried rice is a good as any place back home which would be a great compliment. Thanks for the hot, awesome meal!

YUM! My husband and I have been searching for a great Chinese place and we lucked out with May Jen. We dined in for restaurant week and were very impressed with the food and service. Our waiter was very charming, funny, and sounded like he had the perfect soothing late night radio host voice. He was very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had about the menu, including offering some of his recommendations. My husband got the Hunan beef restaurant week special and it was so incredibly tender. Of course I stole a few bites! I had the General Tso dinner for one combo. The items I chose were Wonton soup, a pork egg roll, and vegetable fried rice. Everything was absolutely delicious. The chicken was lightly breaded, which made it so enjoyable. I've been disappointed with other Chinese places and the loads of breading they are putting on the chicken for General Tso. But this dinner was perfection. I would absolutely come back. It is a bit pricey, but the quality of the food makes the cost worth it.

Most expensive Chinese food in the area, but it’s worth it. The food is always hot, fresh, and ready at exactly the pick up time you were told. The tangerine chicken is so flavorful and the crab rangoons never disappoint. The dine in area of the restaurant is very clean as well.

Let me start by saying that Chinese food isn’t my top choice. I like it, but my companion loves it and could probably eat it every day. Luckily, we have plenty of options in the city to choose from. Every couple of months, when I’m in the mood for Chinese, we come here. The food is always hot, fresh, and cooked just right. They’re really generous with the extra egg rolls, and sometimes they throw in those sweet little donut treats too. The staff is super friendly, and they do appreciate when you pay in cash. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone in North Buffalo looking for great Chinese takeout.

Sends the last time I was here, China Star opened after remodeling, and the food was very good service. It was excellent service, and the new menus

I drive by this place every day and randomly decided to order from here; it was a great decision! We chicken over rice, a chicken roll, shingara, and doi fuchka. We had to wait a bit for the order and while we were there, we were asked if we’ve ever had the doi fuchka, which we said no. Not only did they tell us how to eat it but they assembled one for me and insisted I ate it while I was there. It was great! Such a good blend of flavors and it tasted so fresh! The owners were so kind and everything we ate was delicious. I asked for the lower end of the spiciness range, but probably could have handled a bit more. This place is a little gem and if you’re in the area, I encourage you to stop by! Everything was made fresh and just has good flavor. Plus it was very reasonable prices with decent portions.

The food is so good! The perfect mix of spice and creamy sauce! Vegetables were fresh and crisp. My late lunch was so filling I skipped dinner. I will now be a regular customer.

I have been wanting to leave this place a review for the longest time, and finally decided to do so. It’s a quick stop and shop that is family-owned and operated. These are great people who are always nice and thankful that you came in. They recently opened up a small grill and deli. We just got a sub, wings, and popcorn shrimp. Darn good food with ample portions and low prices. The subs are $5-6 less than Nino’s and Leo’s and just as good. Smaller? Sure. But, I’m sick of spending $19 for a sub that’s more bread than meat. Lottery, grocery items, soda, beer, subs, etc. You need to stop by and say hello. Keep small businesses like this running and give them your support. 👍🏻

Update March 22. 2025 Just picked up Ruben sandwich..... Unbelievable...... Excellent size and amounts of meat... Cheese ... Thousand island... And kraut. I love this place...... Beef on wreck next item on menu.... If you don't care going to a noisy bar or restaurant or paying more for nasty fast food at the big chains and want a meal to take home and enjoy.... ADAMS MARTS the place Was pleasantly surprised... Got a fish fry last night and was considerably better than all of the ones available in area and several dollars less. Looking forward to trying more of the items on there menu. The staff was friendly and helpful also... Highly recommend

Exactly what you want in your local Chinese take out go to! Have only gone a few times but it’s been consistent and delicious! We love the orange chicken. The sauces is perfect and the chicken stays crispy. The fried dumplings and fried wontons are also amazing! Great sauces as well! Combo meals are a great deal, large portions!

The food was very fresh and flavorful. We enjoyed an order of fried dumplings, kung pao chicken combo, and orange chicken combo. Each combo comes w/ a choice of white or fried rice and a delicious egg roll. The orange chicken and dumplings were our favorite. The orders are generous, between the two of us we had plenty of leftovers the next day.

Stopped in on a whim turned out to be a very, very good Chinese restaurant. I recommend anyone in this location to check out China King food is very tasty fresh and not greasy.

As a side note I was a chef for 3 years. I try not to leave bad reviews but I have to speak up this time, tried this place when I was super hungry so my standards started pretty low. Started with the general tso's chicken, I was quickly unimpressed. Super bready, and strange flavor to the breading. And the sauce was more sweet than anything. Broke open a few pieces and it seems like it's shredded chicken rolled in dough and then fried... Figured that the rice couldn't be that disappointing so I went for it and boy was I wrong, tasted like it was in a cardboard box or way too long before being made... Last but not least I am super thankful I ordered a side dish of steamed broccoli because the broccoli that came with the chicken was practically raw still... The service was awesome and friendly

Good prices, and tastes okay, although the fried rice could be improved (it's a bit bland). If you speak Chinese the owners are happy to have a chat! This place is cash-only. The store itself is a takeout counter with a table to sit at.

By far the best place not only for the prices but food is good and the people are outstanding they are very friendly you don't find this kindness much at chinese takeout I have ordered a couple times and will be a return customer Please keep doing what you do thank you
