Little Szechuan
Just walked in to this place at 8:20, they advertise 9pm, open sign was illuminated. The place was empty and some kid listening to his AirPods refused to serve us. I asked him if he ever wanted me to come back again, he begrudgingly offered me take out. Restaurants need to keep the hours they advertise, we drove 15 minutes to come in and they denied us, punishing us because their business was slow and the kid wanted to go home. What a joke, place is probably on the verge of closing down, they should just be done with it and spare us. He was also sassy. I wonder if the person paying the bills would be happy to know that some punk kid is turning away paying customers almost an hour before advertised closing time with the open sign still on.
Excellent, Five Star experience. Service was very fast and attentive. Lunch specials were a very fair portion size. Not huge, but not small either. I had the sweet and sour chicken lunch special with pork fried rice and egg drop soup; $12.95. I was full and satisfied after the meal. Very hot and freshly made. Also as an appetizer, you get complimentary crackers and dipping sauce. $27 and change for two + tip, drinking water. Decor and atmosphere are average, nothing fancy.
Tom & Pat's Pizza
The owner Diana (I hope I got her name right) is really nice and friendly. They have the best Pizza Roll. Best Lunch I'd had in a while @ West Haven. Easy Parking, with a nice beach view. Will try other items on the menu when I swing by another time. *Pizza rolls is a must!* I also tried the special pizza.
The best pizza rolls period! I've been ordering pepperoni rolls with fresh garlic for over 20 years. They come by the dozen but my family would never know. Nothing better then a two roll tax and washing it done with a Foxen Park before I even get to my driveway.
Han Hot Pot House
Favorite thing is the staff! Very happy and lovely, attended to us and checked on us regularly. Food was great as well.! Totally see why it is a favorite spot.
This is my first time trying Hot Pot and it was such a wonderful experience. The staff there made it a really good first place to go. They were really nice and patient with us, they showed us how to get started, make our own custom sauces, how to cook the food, and refilled us when we were low. The food was amazing, there was plenty of tables to choose from, the menu is not hard to look through at all, the place is really beautiful, and once you have it figured out it's smooth sailing!
Lucky Stars Asian Cuisine
Luck Star has been my go to for years, highly disappointed with the taste and greasy food i received with this last order. Not sure what has happened here but this does not taste the same, I guess it’s time to find a new place. The service and speedy delivery is always great but the food was lacking this time around.
Consistently solid food never been unhappy with something I got here.I usually grab take out but anytime I've interacted with staff theyve been super nice c: go to spot for chinese food
Tintin chinese restaurant
Moved to the neighborhood fairly recently and needed to fine a good Chinese restaurant. Everything that we ordered was so good, nice and fresh; would definitely be ordering again
I am sad to say I didn’t care for this take out. Wait! The egg roll was very good. But the spring rolls were literally yuck. And I like spring rolls enough that I’ll usually choke down the mediocre ones. I did not eat these. I got the chicken curry. It was okay…nothing to write home about. Also, no napkins or utensils. A problem since I was taking back to the AirBnB and don’t have utensils there.
Nepali Kitchen and Bar
Stopped on our way back to NYC from Ithaca. Everything was incredibly tasty. It’s a little bar/restaurant within a convenience store. If I lived nearby I’d come for cheap drinks and momo on the regular.
I've been here once and would like to visit again soon. It was a very interesting experience with some tasty food, though kind of awkward. This restaurant is actually inside of a little bodega. There's a bar in a side room that's prettysmall (but kinda cozy) and a small dining room in the back. You order your food at the checkout register of the store, which feels a little weird. The person manning the register was very nice, but because of the convoluted setup and maybe language barrier, I'm not entirely sure I understood everything he said. I'd highly recommend checking out the menu online so you know what you want ahead of time, though it seems that the actual menu is a bit larger than the one listed on Google Maps. There's not a lot of explanation of what everything is, so looking it up before visiting helped a bit. I ate in the dining room. Very cold, dimly lit, some of those legal gambling machines. I didn't exactly hate it, but I could see how it could put someone off. I'd rather sit at the bar next time. Also, though the store sells a good variety of canned and bottled beer, Pennsylvania's Kafkaesque alcohol laws mean you can't just buy a beer and have it with your food in the dining room: you'd either have to eat at the bar and drink from a limited selection or just get your food as takeout and drink your beer at home. The food itself was pretty good. I had the momo and some sort of soup. The momo are a little like the potsticker dumplings you'd find at a Chinese restaurant, but the dipping sauce was a spicy, sort of creamy sauce instead of the soy sauce-based dip you'd find at a Chinese place. The soup was also pretty good, though I would've preferred eating it with chopsticks rather than a fork and spoon. I have a couple criticisms. More signage could help people understand what's going on with the ordering and seating situation. More menus (I only saw two and there were three of us) with maybe some explanations on them would be nice. The food also took a bit longer to come out than I expected. I felt like my food got cold too fast because of the chilly ambient temperature in the dining room. That's a decent amount of criticism, but I really do recommend people check the place out, especially if you can do takeout (or maybe if you visit during the warmer months).
King's Chef
This place used to be really good but lately the food has been not so good and rice is undercooked
Speaking as a native, this is the the best NYC Chinese restaurant food I’ve ever had. Solid customer service. Looks like a typical hood spot. They have automated service so ordering over the phone is quick and easy.
No. 1 Kitchen
i ordered shrimp and broccoli for delivery and it took 40 minutes. Then there was a Piece of meat I saw when I was eating That didn’t look like shrimp in the plate . Waste of $$ .. order at your own risk
I got their chicken and broccoli with pork fried rice. It was super good and affordable. Fast service the lady was really nice
Linwood Chinese Express
Stopped in KC for break and was told to come here. Ordered the crab rangoons, the sweet and sour chicken, and ham fried rice. Very friendly, they were generous with the portions, and all the food was fantastic. Will definitely be swinging by next time I come to KC.

Great Wall Kitchen
Great food fast delivery. Price is a bit ugh but where isn’t it high now a days. Enjoy life and eat while you can! This isn’t forever. Bendicion God Bless!
Called in for delivery and was told the wait time would be 16 minutes. Waited 25 minutes before going downstairs to be stood up for a whole HR. Dialed in several times and was told they are on the way. Eff it, I went back up stairs and made instant noodles. Midway it finally arrived downstairs and the delivery guy thought I had to go back downstairs. Told him to come up and guess what? Instant noodles didn't fail me, unlike this place.
The Blonde Shallot
this establishment relies on Instacart shoppers for delivering their kitchen produce, but it might be worth considering how they treat their delivery drivers. They do not tip and but always order bulky items. It would be great if they acknowledged the hard work of these individuals, especially when it comes to delivering heavy items.
i usually love getting lunch from here but i just bit into a very raw looking bone in the cod salad i picked up today. this is obviously not safe for anyone to consume.
China King Kitchen
This place is so good the food is so good I love eating their food and it is so delicious and I would come back again and again because the food is so good
Really great food that always hits the spot. Only thing is it's a cash only spot
