DC Malaysian Food
Tasty little food truck on a pullout. Curry puffs were absolutely delicious, highly recommend! There are a lot of authentic dishes here and the owner is very friendly, can't wait to go back.
What an unexpected TREAT! Looking for a quick food stop as we were traveling up Route 22 we spotted this food truck - with several cars parked around it. Figured we’d give it a go and were delighted to find it was Malaysian food. We had the chicken and rice (best ever chicken and rice / the flavor is rich and amazing) fried wonton - YUM with chili sauce, steamed rice dumpling (perfect) and Thai Bubble Tea - the most beautiful tea leaf flavor with tapioca pearls. Cant wait for our next trip up 22 to try more. Do yourself a flavor and treat yourself to this divine and gracious dining experience in Pawling.
Thai Elephant 2
It was more than fine that the waitress would check up on us to ask us if we were ready to order. However, what was not ok was her getting annoyed every time we would nicely tell her to please give us some time as we would like to order a couple of dishes. Not everything is pictured, but we had their Thai iced coffee, four appetizers and three meals and everything was tasty.
This place is very authentic and cute interior. We had the pineapple fried rice with tofu and the red curry with vegetarian imitation duck. Very tasty and we were surprised that a great restaurant is by the road in upper NY. Really nice view too of the landscape.
No-1 chinese restaurant
Hot take out for dinner for the first time . Absolutely delish! Everything was delicious Chinese American food. Ordered apps, soups, chicken , beef , noodles it was all good. Will be ordering again!
Food was really good and made fast. Got a general tso combo and a sesame chicken combo and with tasted great! I've been here quite a few times and the great food has me coming back! General tso if you like some spice. Sesame chicken if you'd like something a little sweeter without the spice.
La Cazuela
Really fresh and delicious! Friendly staff and comfortable setting. Good prices too. Easy off/on Rt. 22. Definitely coming back!
La Cazuela delivered on all fronts. I dined in and ordered a burrito with chorizo. You can tell right away that the owners are incredibly passionate and enthusiastic about the food that they serve in the establishment that they maintain. It’s so warm and inviting inside the restaurant. As for burrito— I mean come on look at the photo I uploaded. The burrito was filled to the brim and each ingredient were seasoned just right. Not too spicy not too salty. After I took the first bite, my hand started shaking in delight. I devoured the rest of the burrito within 6 and a half minutes. If I’m ever near the area again, another burrito will enter my body from La Cazuela.
The Farmhouse
The food was great!! I ate it too fast before I even thought to take a picture. The ice cream tasted good with a nice consistency. Service was also great. The owner was super friendly and very welcoming, telling us about how she sources high quality ingredients for the food. The atmosphere was pleasant. The decor was nice with a rustic vibe and I thought they did a nice job. Overall I really recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for some good ole American cuisine.
The Farmhouse is a must visit if you are in the area. The meats are produced by the the owner's family and are delicious, you can taste the difference. The salad was freshly made and crisp. The owner was extremely hospitable. The restaurant is clean and very welcoming, you can see the pride they take in quality and customer service. This was definitely the right choice for our afternoon meal!
Karen's Diner
Food is good. The prices are perfect. I love going here for the outdoor seating which is always empty so it’s super quiet and the food comes out fast and efficient.
Good food, good service, decent prices
Brewster Pastry
They made our wedding cake for a small wedding dinner we had with 40 people to celebrate our elopement. The cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted even better. It was exactly what I wanted and the cost was more than worth it!
My girlfriend bought me a banana cream pie on Christmas Eve. I had a slice today and it is absolutely delicious. Not many people make banana cream pies anymore, but Brewster pastry definitely does, and exceeded our expectations. Thank you all.
Aversano's Restaurant - Catering - Pizzeria
We had lunch today on the Pizza section of this restaurant. Over-met my expectations for food, service and atmosphere. We had to run a few errands in Brewster today and have not visited Aversanos in quite a few years. Consistently meet our expectations both in the semi formal dining restaurant and the casual pizza. We recommend you try the eggplant panini with salad. Yum! Parking is plentiful. Seating is spacious and handicapped friendly. 10/07/2024 1pm
We had a wedding dinner with 40+ people to celebrate our marriage/elopement. The restaurant made the process very simple and they were very accommodating. The appetizers, entrées, and desserts were absolutely delicious as expected and the service the night of was above and beyond. They made our wedding dinner extra special. They allowed us to bring centerpieces for the table and a few outside items to display around our wedding cake. I can’t recommend this place enough whether for date night or a special event! Love this place ❤️
Kelly's Corner
As I sit here on the porcelain goddess I figured I might as well take the time to elaborate. I’ve been coming to Kelly’s for over a decade. It was one of my favorite pubs until today. My girlfriend and I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and a hamburger with some wings. The inside of the hamburger was purple and black with white specs in it. The Philly cheesesteak was slimy, and the roll had obviously been frozen and reheated. Now, I understand that everybody in the restaurant biz has a bad day. However, when you have a bad day the owner or the chef should at least come out. They did nothing of the sort, and in fact, the only thing they cared about was the fact that I pay for the wings that we ate prior to the main course. One star is too much for this establishment. It’s a real shame what happened to this place. My girlfriend is in the bathroom as we speak.
Nice little place, nice people and good food. I like their wings, we had the garlic Parm mixed with mild wings, the shrimp platter and the sampler platter. The mozzarella sticks were perfectly coated and paired with a decent marina dipping sauce. The onion rings were thick cut. The sweet potato fries tasted really good and not dry. The chicken fingers tasted pretty good too. The shrimp was fried like chicken cutlet is done at home; breaded and fried. The nachos were very good and were a large heaping pile of chips, chili and cheese. One of my favorite moments of the night was the caramel apple pie.
Fiesta Mexicana
One of my favorite Mexican restaurants! They boast authentic Mexican food. Although I have not tried everything, I would recommend the chimichangas. The guacamole is a MUST. It is made fresh right in front of you. If you are going for the first time, I recommend the combo platter so that you can try a variety and figure out what your new favorite dish will be. Or you may like them all... whatever the outcome I'm sure sure you'll find something you'll love. Besides the food, the restaurant is very festive. Bright wall colors, scenes of Mexican life and decor bring the restaurant to life. Service is great, as there are plenty of staff around.
Ok, so the place is a little out dated, typical Mexican restaurant with the colorful walls, tile tables…let’s just say the decor needs work. But the food is really good. The guacamole is made fresh in front of you and the tacos al pastor were very good. The server was nice and friendly and the prices are fair (everything is expensive now), but the portions are great. Would recommend as a good lunch option or when you are in the mood for decent Mexican food, but not for a special occasion (unless 1990 Mexican is your thing, then sure!).
AJi Sushi Japanese Restaurant
Ordered through DoorDash. The food came quickly and hot as well as correct. We ordered the hibachi noodles, shrimp and vegetable tempura, beef negimaki and sweet potato rolls. The beef negimaki and sweet potato rolls were very good. The hibachi noodles were a bit gummy but ok tasting and the tempura lacked favor. All in all they were good portions and reasonably priced. Would definitely order from here again.
I have tried SO MANY sushi restaurants. Every single time I try somewhere new I compare it to Aji and Aji wins every time. This is by far the BEST sushi I’ve had. Everything ive had tastes incredible. I love the spicy tuna roll, Philly roll, and tuna avocado cucumber roll. The shrimp shumai is mouth watering and the vegetable gyoza is delectable. I’ve brought so many friends here and they always want to come back. The food is incredible and for such a reasonable price. I will never stop raving about this place. Easily my favorite restaurant and the absolute BEST sushi place in NY. I’ve had lots of meals here and not once was I left unsatisfied.
Froggy's Sandwiches
Not really a fan of their new lunch card policy. It doesn't work with breakfast sandwiches anymore, even though it used to. The funny thing is, it works with lunch items like a Philly cheese steak. But as soon as I add eggs to a Philly cheese steak, it doesn't work anymore. In response to the owner: Every time I order from there, I always grab a variation of what used to be called the lanzadoodle on a wedge. Essentially a steak egg and bacon with a variation of cheese and vegetables. Since it's not there anymore, I always do a custom order, but essentially always get the same thing. They always charge me somewhere between $12 and $15. But today, they told me that it is not something that can count towards the lunch card anymore. Only the Goliath, which is cheaper.
Delicious food!! A must stop for lunch sandwiches in this area! Definitely recommend. Would love this place even more if they said “thanks for coming” as we left. But we are in NY. So they were awesome! 🤩
