Thai Chili 88
I recently visited for the first time in 10 years. This used to be my favorite hidden gem spot, but then I moved away and wasn’t able to enjoy it anymore. After moving back to the area recently, I stopped in with my husband and after 10 years away you never know what changes to expect. Staff members were very courteous and accommodating for seating a disabled person, food was delicious and cooked properly and food presentation was just as beautiful as ever! My old favorite, the peanut tofu was still great, my husband loved his dish as well, and the crab Rangoons were delicious and beautifully plated. Great job guys, we’ll definitely be back!
My husband and I both ordered shrimp dishes, butter shrimp and Panang curry. The portions of shrimp are generous and both were flavorful. We also ordered soup and chicken lettuce wraps, and they too were delicious. We will be coming back!
Win Golden Wok
I ordered an item that was not fixed properly. When I called them back to inform them of this, the woman, I spoke to first of all try to defend herself by saying she fixed it the way she always fixed it. When I let her know this is not the current case because I ordered a number of times from this restaurant and this is the first time the shrimp rolls were soggy to the point that I had to throw them away and my chicken and stream beans were all string beans and two pieces of chicken. She then just offered an apology and hung up. No offer to refund money. No offer to remake a quality meal, just “I’m sorry.”
Disappointed... I used to go here years ago when I worked in the area but now I don't think I would go back. My order was simple, vegetable fried rice with added beef. The rice was dry and pretty much flavorless and I couldn't find the beef plus there were very little veggies, all for $15... Sad. The woman behind the register cooking all she did was yell at her kids in Chinese and you weren't allowed to sit down in the restaurant. I don't know how long Win Golden Wok will be in business for but their future looks very bleak to me.
Rice King
"The rice king" The Reign of the Rice King: Why Rice Rules the World In the grand culinary kingdom of foods, one ruler reigns supreme: the Rice King. For centuries, rice has claimed its throne as one of the most cherished and versatile foods across the globe. Its simplicity, adaptability, and significance in cultures worldwide have solidified its title as the "King of Grains." But what makes rice so undeniably great? Let us bow to the Rice King and explore its royal qualities. 1. The Versatile Monarch The Rice King has a unique ability to rule over any cuisine it touches. From the bustling streets of Asia to the comforting kitchens of Latin America, rice adapts to countless dishes with ease. It can be soft and fluffy, sticky and sweet, or even crispy and golden. The Rice King reigns over dishes like sushi, biryani, jambalaya, risotto, and fried rice—each unique, yet united by the magic of rice. This versatility ensures its place in every corner of the culinary world. 2. A Lifeline to the People The Rice King isn’t just a culinary delight; it’s a life-giver. For over half the world’s population, rice is a staple food, providing essential nutrients and calories. It’s affordable, accessible, and easy to store, making it a vital resource for communities everywhere. Its ability to thrive in diverse climates—from the lush paddies of Southeast Asia to the arid plains of Africa—demonstrates its resilience and adaptability, making it a food fit for a king. 3. Unity in Every Grain What sets the Rice King apart is its ability to bring people together. In every culture, rice is more than just food—it’s a tradition, a celebration, and a symbol of togetherness. Whether it’s shared in family meals, religious ceremonies, or festivals, rice fosters a sense of community and unity. From the sticky rice of Thai street markets to the fragrant basmati of Indian feasts, the Rice King connects people through shared flavors and stories. 4. The Hidden Depth of Simplicity At first glance, rice might seem humble, but don’t be fooled—the Rice King’s power lies in its simplicity. A bowl of perfectly cooked rice can bring comfort on the toughest days. It’s the ultimate sidekick, complementing every dish it accompanies, yet it can stand alone, starring as the main event when prepared with care. Its unassuming nature makes it a quiet ruler, but one that leaves an everlasting impact. The Rice King’s Legacy Rice isn’t just food; it’s a way of life. It’s a reminder of the beauty in simplicity, the power of adaptability, and the importance of community. The Rice King has nourished humanity for millennia and continues to do so, reigning supreme as the ultimate food for both survival and celebration. So, let us honor the Rice King, for without its humble yet powerful reign, the world would be a far less flavorful place. Long live the Rice King!
The Honey Walnut Shrimp, Fried Wontons, Crab Rangoons and Wonton Soup were all very good! I didn’t like their Egg or Shrimp Rolls they were very greasy and there was only 1 shrimp in the shrimp rolls (usually you get 3)! I also didn’t like the Sesame Shrimp, General Tso Chicken or Lobster LoMein! The sauce is very gingery in the Sesame Shrimp & General Tso Chicken which makes it smell and taste terrible! The Sesame Shrimp looked big, but they were all dough on small shrimp! The Lobster LoMein was all noodles and tiny tiny shrimp (which taste awful) the other few pieces that are “supposed to be lobster” were not! I also thought it was very petty of them to charge me $1 for white meat in the General Tso Chicken when I just spent $165! They always short me a white rice “every time” I order from them! A couple of times they didn’t give me any fortune cookies! You have to pay with cash in order to use a coupon which is crazy to me! I don’t know any other place that does that! They’re losing so much business by doing that, cause most people just use their credit cards and don’t have a lot of cash handy! It doesn’t make any sense!
Hunan East
Best. Chinese. Food. Ever. Has some of the most flavorful and reasonably priced menus. Six people for appetizers, main course and dessert was $100. Very generous portions and the waiter here is phenomenal. He's very funny and personable. Please stop here for lunch or dinner.
Food is fresh! Absolutely love the cheese steak egg rolls and the wings. I also had the grandpa chicken but unfortunately it was very sweet and had a very weird taste. Overall not a bad experience. I just womt get the Grandpa chicken again
Chef Chun Chinese Restaurant
Honestly, always enjoyed Chef Chun over the years. Slight dip in food since changing ownership, but not drastic. I’m sorry to say the atmosphere is horrendous. The warm welcoming feeling is gone since the installation of bright white led lights. A restaurant should have soft white lights. Feels like I am in an office. It makes me not wanting to dine in. Still good though
Ordered House Lo Mein and got ONLY NOODLES and just a couple pieces of meat. RIPOFF. Will not order from here again.
New Bamboo Garden
Really good food, probably best chinese takeout in town. Only thing that sucks is they don't deliver. But we'll worth the pick up! Pork dumplings are absolutely amazing 👏
It's very hard for me to get Chinese food anywhere other than New Bamboo Garden; it's definitely some of the best in the area. Prices are fantastic, the food quality is great, and they're quick. I've gotten multiple things, and have been getting food from New Bamboo Garden for the past two or three years, and have never been disappointed.
The wokery
I go here occasionally. It's ok for a quick bite
Didn't go there
Jin Jin Chinese Restaurant
we just ordered the walnut shrimp with sauce-completely dried out shrimp smells of ammonia we had to throw out- $19 gone! scallion pancakes were delicious
We went to this place today to get some take out . It was our first time in is place . And it’s last time we got food there ‘ the place is dirty with pieces of rice on tables and on the floor. There is a woman laying down on the on the booth’s bench and talking over the phone . And the food was HORRIBLE. My orange chicken had no chicken , but just pieces of fried dough. Bad taste , greasy and hard to bite . Unbelievable!!! Please , stay away from this filthy place !
Ocean Asian Cuisine
This restaurant has the best sushi I’ve ever had and I eat sushi all over the place! It’s always fresh and delicious my favorite is the spicy white tuna crunch roll and scallop roll! The sushi lunch special is also really reasonable and I probably have it once a week! The egg rolls and special roll we ordered was amazing I highly highly recommend this restaurant
The Best Won-Ton Soup "Hands Down" Anywhere Here In South Jersey And The Food Is Fresh, Well Cooked And Most Importantly DELISH!! Amazing Soushi Too Welcoming & Inviting Atmosphere.Great Date Night.TY
Panda Express
Have been there about three times and the food is really good. The inside is very clean and stylish plenty of seating, everything is new. I like that you can see the food that you’re ordering. The staff has always been very nice and working hard. The thing that I noticed is it takes one cook a long time to prepare one item in the cooking area that is in transferred to the presentation area in a round metal bowl for customers to choose from. They have a drive-through and they also have a very steady walk-in business. Last time I was there on a Sunday and when I walked in it wasn’t very busy, but there was a lot of main dishes that were almost empty so I had to wait about 20 or 25 minutes For them to prepare two bowls of fresh pepper, chicken, and sesame chicken. There was a shift manager who helped cook the food as there was only one other person doing the cooking. When it gets busy, I noticed that is it takes time for one cook to replenish the food, especially with the drive-through and people walking in. Because the food on display is also being used for the drive-through the popular items go very quick and get depleted. This location has good service and great food. They seem to give very good portions. If you’re ordering the bowl with one entrée and one side choice it can feed one person easily and possibly two people. The Plate comes with the two entrées and one side and can easily feed two people. Choosing the bigger plate will easily feed two people or more. I feel like the plate or bigger plate or a great value especially if two people are sharing. I would order three of the bigger plates versus the family meal. You’ll get it about the same amount of food just a little bit cheaper and you’ll have more choices of entrees and sides. Highly recommend this place. Delicious American Chinese food.
Wow wow wow. This was unfortunately worst experience here ever... 1.) not only did they take forever at the intercom (made me wait fairly long (eventhogh I had placed order on app 15 minutes prior....). 2.) They forgot all my sauces, got none 3.) Woman wasn't friendly, I tried to flag her down but I continued to wait for like 5 minutes just to ask for sauce I finally had to start beeping my horn... ;-( 4.) After I drove away I realized they gave me 2 wrong items I did not order. I was giving the apple egg roll thing, when I ordered 2 chicken egg rolls. So I had to go back through again! 5.) I had to ask for my receipt and she took extra long to give it to me.. seemed like she didn't want to give 6.) Receipt claims they gave me all these sauces, utensils, napkin and fortune cookies (all was a lie and all wrong). Got no napkins, 2 fortune cookies (not 4 like recipe claims), 2 utensils (not 4 like receipt claims) and zero sauces (not 8 sauces like receipt claims). Not happy. Not cool. Wasted decent amount of my time with extra slow service and it made my fiance very angry and he started arguing with me and he wanted me to leave but it wasn't his order they messed up, but mine!!!!! ;-*( ill attach receipt. Very upsetting I'm a very frequent flier there too and recently found out about the app...
Oriental Sakura
Hands down best sushi in NJ. Everything else we ordered was absolutely divine. The flavors were 5 stars alone. And the amount of food that you get for the price is just incredible. Thank you for being right around the corner. We will be back again and again! Can't wait to try our other favorites next time.
This was our first time ordering from here. My family was very pleased with the food and service. We used to always go to Tokyo Mandarin, but the last time we ordered from there, the quality of food was not so good. We will definitely ordered from here again. I would recommend Oriental Sakura. 👍🏻👍🏻
