Foodie Adda
10/24/2024 Didn’t have a good experience, tonight. So will have to remove a star, sorry about that. - 9/15/2024 Experiencing ecstasy at the moment! ✨ This place is a hidden paradise & I can assure, you’ll keep coming back. I happen to discover this spot by accident, gave it a try and I’m really impressed by their food. I ordered some spicy “Chicken Noodles”✅ and it was really good, haven’t had anything close to it in the entire US and definitely takes your taste buds to India! Tasted just like Indian street food. I’m happy with the quality & quantity offered for the price. There’s a good flow of orders & looking forward to trying out their entire menu. Definitely recommend trying this place out and you’ll stop going to overpriced, overrated Indian restaurants in the area that serve non-authentic Indian food. Good job to the team, you earned yourself a customer!

Mahzu Japanese Restaurant East Windsor
Delicious food! Everyone enjoyed their meals and cleaned their plates. Enormous portions if ordering the hibachi! They prepared food first for someone in our group that has a shellfish allergy!
Had a horrible experience. Went on a Friday night for table seating, not hibachi. It took 20 minutes for us to be even acknowledged once we sat down. My water glass was dirty 3 times, with caked on black gunk inside the glass. After the third time, I gave us asking for a new one. My food tasted a bit burnt, but my partner enjoyed his. The table next to us also could not get a server to take their order. Overall a poor experience. I will not be back. My partner may be for take out sushi, but will not dine in again.
THE CHOZHAS
I recently dined at The Chozhas and was impressed by their diverse menu for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The variety of dishes was fantastic, featuring fresh ingredients and bold flavors. The vegetarian options were creative and delicious, while the non-veg selections were equally satisfying. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot for meal. Overall, The Chozhas is a top choice for anyone looking for quality food, regardless of dietary preference. Highly recommended!
“The food and hospitality were amazing. The dishes, like the rice and curry, were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The spices, especially the tamarind and mint chutney, made every bite delicious. The servers were very kind and made sure we always had enough food on our plates. They treated everyone with care, making us feel special. The place was beautiful with soft music and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for good food and excellent service.”
Best Choice
I got a large boneless spare rib that was excellent. Best around this area. And the beef and broccoli was very good. Loaded with sauce. I like the sauce to drizzle over the white rice. Good job Best Choice.
We have been using BCS (Best Choice Sushi) for many years. 99% of the time, we order sushi or rolls. The food quality is consistently good, and the freshness never was an issue. Best Choice offers the most budget-friendly pricing. The service is good, and unless you are there on a Friday night, the waiting time (after you place your order) is basically non-existent. There is a small dine-in area, but the majority of customers choose the pick-up option. The restaurant also delivers, by its own drivers or through delivery apps, such as GrubHub. The parking is available in the back. However, be prepared to look for double parking during the peak hours.

Good was very dry and had no taste
Nice people and yummy food.
Vatan Indian Vegetarian Cuisine & Bakery, East Windsor, NJ
Khaman dhokla is a must try here, pillowy soft, very fresh & right balance of taste & flavors Naan, tandoori roti - good 👍🏻 They have an extensive menu & no bread basket which is disappointing 🤦🏻♀️ Quantity of Chhole served with 2 bhature is less Paneer makhani was okay Methi matar malai - sabzi taste is good - but peas was barely 50% cooked which killed the taste of the sabzi Some of the methi gota had raw batter inside It wasn’t a busy day - we were the only ones ordering food .. and yet this blunder .. If they improve their sabzi portion sizes & check for doneness, they could do better! Menu is extensive .. but dishes are a hit or miss .. so it’s important to read reviews of what to order
Before I begin my review, I want to give a huge shoutout to Shawn (employee) for going above and beyond. He handles a busy restaurant so well and shows love for what he does. His customer service is amazing and we look forward to seeing him anytime we come to Vatan. I hope he gets recognized because he truly deserves it. As for the food, it was delicious. The wait times were slightly long but again, Shawn came and apologized, which went a long way. We didn’t mind waiting. There were some unique finds that we don’t see at typical Indian restaurants, which I loved! Below are some pictures of what we ate! Highly recommend checking it out. We drive an hour just for Vatan!
Dragon Garden
Just spent $29 plus $5 tip. For 2 combinations chicken and broccoli, we got one with lo mien instead of rice $3 upcharge. I wouldn't complain really, but the food had NO FLAVOR! Nothing worse then wet chicken, gross! The only thing we ate after dousing it with soy and duck sauce, was the rice and some lo mien. What a waste ☹️ I don't know how they make any money, I won't be ordering again.
we have been ordering from this place for over 10 years. over the last year, the quality has gone downhill. Our last order was the last time we will ever order from there. I ordered a happy family. I take the first bite and something tasted off. took a second bite and this time almost puked because what ever was on that fork was rancid. I picked up the phone and called them. it was not to complain but to let them know that something they are serving was no good and to check because they are going to get someone sick. was just told that everything was fine and to just comeback for refund. just told them no thanks and that it is now on them if they get someone sick. never going back
