Oriental Garden Restaurant
It must have been a slower time when our large party went in. They got us seated right away. Although, I guess it's one of those places you order first then they bring it out when it's ready. 🤷♀️ (It was everyone's first time eating here.) The woman who waited on us was very polite, friendly and she tried to be as helpful as possible. We had some indecisive people in our group. It didn't take very long for all of our orders to come out. They all looked pleasantly appetizing. Everyone's food was steaming hot, perfectly cooked vegetables with a nice crunch still to them and a large side of white rice accompanying the meal. We were all surprised by how well our meals maintained their heat throughout our consumption of them. We did not get asked for refills on our drinks, not sure if we had to do that ourselves or not. (First Time eating here) We had to clear our own table at the end of the meal.
My favorite place to eat in the area, I don't just want tacos and burgers all the time! We usually eat inside and the food is so hot and fresh you have to let it cool down before eating. We've never had to wait very long. Can usually make 2-3 meals out of one dish. You can choose how spicy they make your food. I don't love the fried rice but to be fair I haven't loved the fried rice at many takeout places. It's typically better at exclusively eat in restaurants. Almost every time we go some family doesn't know how to read a sign and doesn't clean up their table. I've never seen the staff be anything more than patient although that must be frustrating to deal with. They have free refills if you eat inside and all you have to do is take your own dishes to a tub instead of paying extra. It's not a difficult concept to me. You are supposed to put your order at the tablet but they always pay attention and help anyone who is confused or has physical difficulties.
Hong Kong Chinese Food
Food was delicious, my first time here. We were a little disappointed they didn't have plates and just plastic silverware. Next time we will get it to go.
The food is so delicious but they serve way too much broccoli and too little meat! my husband ordered a roast pork with broccoli and he got like 6 strips of roast pork mixed into 2 pounds of broccoli 😭😂 same for my steam chicken! I wonder how much broccoli they purchase per week?
New China Buffet
Stopped in here for a quick lunch. I came on a Saturday and had the Buffett. The place is kinda small with all the seating on the sides but they make the best of it.The buffet cart goes down the center. The food was pretty good. Everything seemed fresh and didn’t look at all like it’s been sitting there a while. It was kinda limited on choices of food, but what was there, was good. The chicken on a stick was awesome!! They also have desert available (that I wasn’t able to fit in 😂) The staff was nice and friendly. This place is VERY affordable. Your meal will be cheaper than McDonald’s. My total was $14. Not bad at all! I’d have no problems going back here again or recommending a person to try it out!
6-4-2024 first ever visit here. A small space with really good food. Only a buffet, not gigantic, but lots and lots of food. I really enjoyed the chicken and broccoli, very tasty. I also had a beef, onion, green pepper concoction that was excellent. Oh, and the pork egg roll, my o’ my! I had other things that were delicious. At buffets I try to get two plates full of food. I was so full after two, no dessert for me. My grandson had a ton of chunked up bananas with some sort of red sauce. He loved it.
Hong Kong
Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - ordered a Hunan Roast Pork Dinner Special. Slight kick to the food but decent overall. The sliced pork seems to be cooked separately and then just added to the different dishes with the sauce and other ingredients. Service: 4/5 - English wasn't the cashier's primary language so she did sound a bit rude but it was very efficient service and to the point! Ambiance: n/a - only available for to go orders. The chairs are placed on top of the tables so it's not welcoming customers to sit. The wallpapers are peeling and decorations are faded. The bathrooms have a sign that says out of order but one of the workers used it while I was waiting for our food. Value for price: 4/5 - decent food, quick service, reasonable price. Note there is a higher cost to use credit card.
The food smelled better than it tasted. It’s always alarming with the rice is mushy. Over cooked. My son ate his dumplings very slowly, which never happens. Egg rolls were okay, my husband said his moo shu pancakes tasted odd. My sesame chicken tasted like a watered down version.
Peking House Chinese Buffet
We ate here for 2 consecutive days during our 2 days visit at WV. We loved the options for the food especially we have kids. The ambiance of the area is okay too and it's spacious. The service was great as well because every now and then, their staff will check on you. Thank you Peking House!
Today I visited Peking House Chinese Buffet for the first time and I was very satisfied. Great prices, and everything was clean and well-organized. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the food looked well presented. It was definitely a good choice, and I will be back for sure.
Lan Ramen
We went in for dinner pity late. We asked for a table in the back , but it was not offered even though it was pity empty. Service was super fast though. Shrimp basil fried rice was the best. We also liked the Fish platter. White rice bowl was plenty too. Overall great quality food. Must try if you are around princeton area.
Good food and service and reasonable prices. It can get a little crowded during the weekend. The portion sizes are pretty big
China Chen
General Tso chicken lunch special was memorable.
The food is good, but I never understood, I order 4 chicken 🐔 wings and they gave me only 3 instead of 4. When I called them, the lady told me that she gave me 3 instead of 4 because the 3 are the big ones. After 2 weeks, I ordered 2 orders of chicken 🐔 wings again and should be 8 wings, but instead was only 7 wings and I called them again and she told me the same like the previous older, the wings are big. I just don't understand, but anyway the food is good.
P.F. Chang's
First time eating here and came here on a Saturday night. WOW, this place was packed. It’s a definitely a good thing we did a reservation otherwise doing a walk-in would’ve been difficult. Now on to the food: Crab Wontons - Super good with the sauce. Must try. Chang’s Lettuce Wraps - Love the sauce and the chicken was delicious! Orange Chicken - Super good Chang’s Spicy Chicken - Super good Red Crane Sangria - Fruitful and tasty Japanese Old Fashioned - Was expecting a bit stronger, but still good Chocolate Soufflé - Light and airy. Delicious Overall, this place was great and can’t wait to try their food again. Thank you!
This is a great restaurant to go with your friends. The food is awesome and the atmosphere is great. The best part is that unlimited drinks refill. Our server was great as well and we had a very high quality time. The food taste and quality is great as well. Highly recommend. I like Fried rice, dynamite and firecracker shrimp
Tiger Noodles
Great spot for both takeout and dine-in! Lunch special is the best value I know in the area at about $10 for a sizeable portion and mix of options. I enjoy coming here for dinner as well with huge portions and reasonable pricing. The interior is nicely decorated, simple and comfortable with nice lighting. The staff is very kind and attentive and the food is served quickly. Most recently I enjoyed the scallop fried rice and my partner had the dry pepper style chicken, highly recommend. I have also enjoyed sushi and miso soup here. They have servers who speak English and Spanish here (probably other languages too). When taking some chicken to go the server even prepared extra rice for us since we had finished our portion, without us even asking - very thoughtful.
Decent. scallion pancake was ok. Shrimp portion was small, not as spicy as I’d like, just a bit meek.
Sushi Palace
Came here an hour before closing because we were craving sushi last minute. Good menu and reasonably priced, great place to go for all you can eat sushi. Their seaweed salad is the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back!
Finally, I am making a review for this location. My one and only experience here was horrible, in terms of the experience, not the food. The Food wasn't too bad, appetizers were good, and the sushi wasn't that bad either. However, this is where it went downhill. My toddler wasn't feeling well after eating something, so as he threw it up, my wife caught it in her napkin. Our server, who never greeted us, never smiled, never checked up on us, never told us to enjoy our meals, nothing that resembled service, all of a sudden comes to our table, points at the napkin, and accuses us of hiding sushi rice, by making a scene, saying "You can't throw rice away, there is a penalty" After worrying about our toddler, that soon turned to anger as we were insulted by the false accusation. My wife got extremely upset and told her what happened and then blank faced, she responds, "OK, her threw up? Oh ok." And just walks away. No apology. No asking if my toddler was feeling OK. Just walked away. We were so upset and didn't want to continue our meal so we asked for the check, but here's the kicker. She said she can't give us the check until we finished all our food. We were incensed. I asked to speak to the manager and she said there is no manager. Then she says, "I'm sorry, it's my fault, ok" but the tone she used when saying those words were very ingenuity. Not wanting to deal with her any longer. I inhaled our giant platter and asked for the check. She brings the check and then proceeds to ask us "Do you want dessert?" I legit thought I was in a Hidden Camera show, or an episode of "What Would You Do?" I don't care if staff has changed, and improved, because although the restaurant was contacted after this incident, I never got a response. Unbelievable.
Prince Tea House
We had the whole tea house for a private bridal shower. The atmosphere and decorations are beautiful. The food was delicious. The tea settings were adorable. All went off without a hitch due to the wait staff having everything prepared and brought out in a timely manner. The day ran so smoothly and was applauded by all.
Stopped at Prince Tea House of Princeton on Rt 27 in Kendall Park, NJ. This is a hidden gem to seek refuge from daily hustle and grind of life. Take a break and recharge yourself with great refreshing teas, drinks, and freshly prepared food. Today, I recharged myself with: 1. Lemongrass, Ginger, Carrot Herbal Tea with honey. 6/5. I had the full pot - 4 cups. This really helped with my score throat. 2. Romaine Vegetable Sandwich with Fries - 5/5. This vegetration sandwich was part of the specialty menu. Prefectly toasted bread with crisp Romanine lettuce and arugula micro greens, fresh tomato slices and cucumbers, with fresh feta cheese and light dressing. This was an amazing sandwich a must try (ask the staff to cut this sandwich in half for you). The double fired string fries were mind-blowing. Please stop by this gem to reconnect with yourself and recharge yourself. Plus, come with family and friends for fun outings as well.
锦里 SC house
Came to New Jersey for a week and half vacation. Excited to find Chinese food around the area. Went for lunch with family, so disappointed. Wasted my time and money. The worst meal I have so far in NJ. Expensive for such quality and service. Service=no service, very awkward. Food taste bad. I’m Chinese, these taste worst than what I cook at home. Fish is frozen fish. The soup and the fish is not hot when arrived our table. Some slices of the frozen fish is still a bit cold. The soup is super salty (some sour). Nothing like the picture (in picture is live fish sliced not frozen fish filets). The frog pot is even worst. All I eat is flour, oil and bones, and is overcooked. The pancake, definitely fried in oil, but pan fried. Crunchy but oily inside out. Only dish finished is wonton in chili oil. It’s okay, eatable. In total spend 70something for 4dishes before tip. I rather spend $5 for McDonald meal. Will never come again.
I love this place! While looking for a good lunch spot in Princeton, this spot came into our radar. I loved everything spicy they had and their scallion pancakes and crispy spicy chicken were AMAZING!!!! I loved all of the food we ordered. While the service was definitely not great by any means, I would totally come back for the food.
