Hippopo Kitchen
Hands down, the best and most authentic hidden gem Chinese Restaurant in Boston. Good portions, fair prices, helpful staff, very tasty, and lots of options. There is a surprise side dish with every visit! A true example of cuisine over ambiance. They are quite a modest-looking place, but the food speaks loudly with excellent presentation and taste. Their food is as good or better than restaurants charging twice as much.
All hot dishes definitely met our expectations (as a picky eater). The eggplant was surprising flavorful and tender. It was packed during dinner hour, and the server took a little bit longer to take the order and bring up the food. Overall good experience!
Han Dynasty University City
I was craving something fresh and spicy and Han Dynasty was perfect! The garlic pork was so delicious and tangy, I got some eggplant that was perfectly cooked with balanced heat, and finally the dumplings with chili oil! All of it was perfect. If I lived here, I would be here all the time. Thank you for a lovely meal and pleasant service.
We enjoyed the food. Some dish might be quite oily but they were warm and fresh. Nice service.
Panda Chinese Kitchen
They left a $50 order and trusted me to go to bank and come back which I oc did and tipped him $15 just for being so cool and trusting me like that. Great food. Great people. Great service. They are amazing will definitely order from here again!
I order here all the time. The food is amazing, delivery drivers are respectful, and the food comes quick. The prices are amazing and you get a lot of food for what you pay. The picture included is the portion size of a nine dollar meal (General Tso’s Chicken) and it comes with an eggroll.
Main Moon
Good service, it’s takeout so no real atmosphere. I ordered the shrimp item frequently. Quality of food was subpar, quantity was good but very little shrimp and poorly cooked vegetables. I can go to Royal Buffet for mediocre food and less money. Please get your act together.
I had ordered crab ragoon it was absolutely disgusting it tasted like straight cheese they wouldn’t allow a refund and had a terrible attitude
China Wok
This is the place you keep going back to for staple Chinese take out. They might not be frilly, but the food is perfect every single time. My husband and I have eaten from here for 8+ years!
I don’t get the bad reviews because this is the best Chinese around. We typically get it delivered and it is always so delicious, fresh, and give generous portions. We never have had a bad meal here. They have great sesame chicken, General Tsos, broccoli with garlic sauce and beef and broccoli. The best of the best is their wonton soup 🤤! It hits the spot when you are sick!
Heng Feng Hand Drawn Noodles
Food was good. The atmosphere is interesting. It is a restaurant, but it turns into a club some nights, so I was eating a bowl of noodle soup on the dance floor in front of a DJ booth. Service was okay. The food came out quickly. The waiter gave us our food, didn't check on us for the whole meal because he was watching the Phillies game, and took 15 minutes after we finished eating to revisit our table to give us the check.
Hang Feng Hand Drawn Noodle at Market & 36th, near the Penn campus, is a cozy and quiet lunch spot, perfect for enjoying birthday noodles along with a variety of dim sum and small dishes. It's an ideal place for a delightful meal.
Magic Wok
I ordered sezchwan chicken, fried wontons and an egg roll. The "sezchwan" was nothing more than bland brown sauce over 90% vegetables and 10% rubbery chicken. The rice was mushy and the wontons were really not great. The egg roll was the only thing I'd say was average at best.
This is what I usually get I believe it’s an L14 with jumbo shrimp and I get mine spicy! There’s is cool I try not to stray too far away from what I know because I don’t wanna be one of the ones that end up eating some sort of rat or something just because I can’t tell what it is. But it’s ok I get mine with white rice. Theirs isn’t better than chans. chans flavor is better. && Chans customer service is better!. That lady that works here with the short cut at the front is too damn smart
China Plaza
We ordered on Monday for New Year's Eve pickup at 4. We were a little early but the food wasn't even lukewarm. Additionally, according to the prices on their menu our order should have been about $67 before taxes. They charged $97! We were very disappointed with the quality of the food. I have been patronizing this restaurant nearly since they first opened their doors but this was the last time I will go there or order their takeout. Disappointing food · Poor presentation
I highly recommend the Crab Rangoons, Scallion Pancakes and the Wonton Soup! It's delicious and the atmosphere and prices are great.

I really enjoy coming to this place. Nice atmosphere, and the food is great. 3 tables, and a men's and women's restroom for customers. I hope they have great success in the future, as they have left a positive impact on me!
Food was just fine. I especially liked the Crab Rangoon. It's a typical chinese-food restaurant that emphasizes takeout and delivery so the atmosphere was as expected if dining in.
Food King Restaurant
I have never had a bad meal from here. We only order out from here once every few months. They never disappoint. Always hot food. They have never once got an order wrong. Always pleased.
I have no idea how this place has over 4 stars. I've had lots of American "Chinese food" all across America and I'll tell you that this was the worst I've ever tasted. I had a few bites and threw the rest away. My buddy said the same thing about his meal. I'm a straight shooter when it comes to reviews of places. The service wasn't bad but the food was. I'd never, ever try the food there again. It's fine if you're one of the reviews that disagree. However I wouldn't recommend.
Asian Garden
Good spot. Food is exactly what you would expect +2 bartender is awesome. I wouldn't say my drink was overfilled at all As that would be counterintuitive. It's also walking distance, so I'll be a regular in no time
A lil gem in the heart of Lynn. Affordable and very good.

To start when we got there the tables were dirty but we were sat at the table anyway there was food from the previous customers on the table that she quickly wiped off but by no means clean the table. And she only wiped off half the table so that left the rest of the table dirty.. We ordered the hot pot which I strongly do not recommend especially the vegetarian one. We also ordered spring rolls and dumplings. The service was ridiculously slow. When she brought out the spring rolls they were pretty much the same thing you would get by going to the freezer section at weis's. When the hot pot came out she kept playing in our food. The worst part was the noodles were overflowing the plate. They come out on these plates that are like 8-in plates. The noodles were touching the table and she was using her bare hands to pick them up and put them back on the plate. Then as we were eating and putting stuff in our boiling water she was coming back and picking up our food and throwing it in the hot pot she wouldn't stop playing with our food. There was nothing at all to drink as far as their tees they were out of everything other than cans of soda for $2 a can. This was on a Friday night at 7:00 p.m. so you would expect that a restaurant would be prepared to have everything on their menu available on a Friday evening. When we originally got there there's a scan thing to do your order that's what we were doing Then she comes to take her order and the menu that she showing us is all in Chinese so that was 100% not helpful. when she first said about the hot pot she it was $39 then after we ordered she comes back out and says it's 49. She added a tip on the bill that was not seen because you do not get any itemized tip but the bill came out more than it should have. When she asked us how the food was it was obvious I hadn't eaten any of it and I just kind of shook my head no and she said that kills me and she was her. Well the food was lousy. The tomato base for the vegetarian must have been nothing more than water with slices of tomatoes thrown into it because it definitely had no kind of base or flavor. Nothing had any flavor. We will not be going back. Not after she plays with your food while you're trying to do it yourself, overcharges I think she added her own tip, and gives you a dirty table and touches your food with her bare hands picking it up off of a dirty table. It definitely was not worth $80.
I absolutely love their food and boba! It’s super flavorful and tastes very fresh. No fake meat. Today I got a pineapple fried rice with chicken instead of shrimp and a crème brûlée boba milk tea for $21 but this will feed me for 3 meals honestly! It’s a lot of food! Both are delicious and while they may not have the ability for order ahead yet they get their food out fast. There is a bit of a language barrier with some of the staff but they are all kind. They don’t have a ton of decor yet but honestly I don’t mind the minimalist feel the place gives off. It’s almost hipster in a way. Overall definitely would recommend and I will be back for many more meals!
