The head cashier had a very poor customer service attitude and changed prices as she pleased. I was told tamales were 4 dollars by the one who asked me what I would like to order. Then the lady at the cash register said to charge me 9. My card was charged 11.50. All a while, it looked like I bothered her that I was ordering in the restaurant. Staffing at this restaurant was poorly trained on customer service.

My niece, who lives in Dover, NJ bought some pupusas for us for dinner. These are the best that we had. We actually went there twice afterwards and will continue to go for more. Nice selections of hot foods, and the hosts were very friendly. I would highly recommend this place for a lunch or dinner.

First time ordering from here and the last. Generals tsaos chicken did not taste fresh and was soggy. Boneless spare ribs had a lot of fat and had a weird odor to the ribs. Egg roll was stale. I think it’s safe to say that I will never order from here again. Had to throwing away everything.

The food and service are excellent at this small, ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ Chinese restaurant. My son and I ordered sesame chicken, general tso chicken and crab rangoon. Huge portions and all of it delicious. You’ll likely opt for take out. Highly recommended! I even enjoyed the message on my fortune cookie! “Your dreams are the treasures of your soul.”

i got a lunch special for takeout and i took 2 bites just to find A ROACH inside my rice !!!! absolutely do not recommend!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered one order of shrimp low main and fried dumplings for delivery. Terrible communication on the phone. Food took 55 minutes to arrive and was luke warm. Shrimp were very small and dumplings were over cooked and underwhelming. Delivery guy had didn’t even have a receipt for us and didn’t even have a menu....

The food was excellent. Nothing great about the dining area. The staff was very friendly. The wonton soup was some of the best I ever had. Would definitely recommend and would come back here to eat. Next time I am in the area.

After reviewing some of the bad reviews I noticed that most of them are a year or older. I have eat in and take out at this location several times and the food is always tasty hot and fresh. The decor is beautiful and love the fireplace aroma. It's not very common to find an establishment this clean and neat. Definitely coming back love their lunch specials

Pleasantly surprised! Shrimp lo mein and sesame chicken tasted really good—very flavorful! The price was decent too, $29 dinner for two.

This was our first time at this local Chinese place. We got the chicken and broccoli, and shrimp lo mein and they tasted… okay. I don’t know how to explain it. It all looked good but it all tasted… the same? And the egg rolls tasted like the wrapper and nothing else. The service was pretty fast (we walked in and gave our order) and the girl at the front was really friendly. I just didn’t get those satisfying Chinese fast food flavors.

On 12/5/2024 my wife ordered us dinner. When it arrived it was only luke warm, it was not hot. The chicken was so dried out and hard it was not enjoyable to try and eat. My wife called and the women who answered the phone said she would have her manager call asap. It's now the evening of 12/7/2024 and we still have not heard anything from them. We're taking our business elsewhere and I highly suggest others do as well. This place has gone down hill over the last 2 years. There are many better places elsewhere. Worst customer service I've encountered in quite some time

just another restaurant... it shifted to lake Hiawatha recently and we decided to try this... we went there one fine evening. The owner did not seem really interested in welcoming us... he was busy with some other task. this restaurant is basically for taking out only and only 3 tables are there to dine in. its self-service, you won't even get proper cutlery. we got our food in a to-go box and we ate there. we ordered Chicken chili and mutton biryani. Chicken chili was good, but mutton biryani was horrible. we asked for water and girl at the counter was busy looking down at her mobile. it was hot inside but they did not even turn on the AC. Prices seem to be okay, not expensive. I guess, its good for only indo-Chinese items.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I have never understood the hype of Garlic Naan until this delicious meal; it glittered with the butter, was both crunchy and soft, and made me understand what other restaurants' Garlic Naans strive to be. Besides that, I ordered Paneer Tikka Masala and it was so good it was hard to stop eating even after I was full LOL. That being said, the place is takeout/catering-focused so keep in mind it doesn't really resemble a typical restaurant. They serve from a counter and dish the food in plastic containers, on a tray, etc. But don't let that distract you from the fact that this is a 5-star gourmet meal that Gordon Ramsay would be proud of. They give generous portions on the entrée as well. I can only speak to the dine-in/takeout, not the catering, but I assume if they nail one they must nail the other. Worthy competitor to other Indian restaurants in the area, including Apna Swad and Jashan by Dhaba.

The food never disappoints, the staff is so kind and always goes above and beyond. My favorite place to get Chinese food.

Take out only/pick up only. Lo mein and general tsos was on point, food came out hot and fresh. The lo mein was actually incredible. Boneless ribs had a weird seasoning for me, but they were fine. They gave us free fried wontons in our last order. Very friendly!

I recently stopped at Honest and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Firstly, the food was absolutely delicious! The food at Honest Restaurant was amazing, especially the Indo-Chinese dishes. The Chinese Bhel was crispy and flavorful, the Manchurian was delicious, and the Manchow Soup was perfectly spiced. A great spot for tasty Indo-Chinese cuisine!

Im actually really shocked from all these reviews. We moved to randolph and were always extremely dissapointed because no good local chinese!! Then we found this place and OMG. Soooo good! Fresh real good just hits different. And we are very very picky with chinese food. The people on the phone are always so sweet too, never rush always make sure your order is correct. Sometimes dekivery takes a bit but hey id be worried if it was too soon lol. Food is expensive but worth it in our opinion. Its our go to take out

The best Chinese takeout in Rockaway for sure, love the chicken with mixed vegetables, chicken in onion curry was awesome, hot and sour soup is great too

Fresh , professional sushi. Dine in or takeout the sushi is always awesome , they also have good Chinese food. Highly Recommend the Honey Walnut Shrimp. I have tried to find it as good elsewhere and cannot. I’ve been going here for years when I’m in the area. Always good service too.

They have Chinese/Cantonese menu and a Japanese menu. The Chinese one has the regular Chinese items with some dumplings and lunch special items. While the Japanese is all sushi menu and teriyaki. It’s a small quick joint, I ordered chicken and broccoli small. Perfect size portion, taste is good. The service was fast enough, 15 min max. The dine in is good.

Additionally, Finlay Burget King has started a new design for the building, embracing modern trends and leaving the old-fashioned style behind. The result is a charming and captivating renovated structure. You will be amazed by the food, and you can enjoy it while spending time in the building.
