I am completely devastated! I use to eat here all the time growing up (literally almost everyday after school) and it’s been YEARS. Today, I just so happened to be in the area so I stopped by to pick up something Simple, one order of crab sticks with a can of ginger ale. Shockingly the price was $10 but whatever, I paid it. As I was eating one of the crab sticks something just wasn’t right. The appearance was off, the taste was off. I immediately stopped eating. I only ate less than of the crab stick and less than 20 mins later I was puking my brains out. Still vomiting as we speak. I even hate to agree with the previous reviews but the kitchen was absolutely repulsive.

I am calling the board of health. Totally disgusting. I ordered sweet and sour chicken lunch combo and the sauce had black specks in it, the chicken was burnt and the place was the dirties place I’ve ever seen. The container the sauce came in smelled like sour milk and as I was waiting I was looking around at the kitchen area and it was completely, completely disgusting, the place hasn’t ever been cleaned, including the food prep area. I threw the food out and ordered pizza from next door. Definitely do not eat from this place. You are risking your health.

So disappointed - just got ripped off at House of Chong so bad, we wanted to try a new place - my sweet and sour chicken (only a few pieces of chicken in my combo - mostly rice) is so over cooked it’s inedible - see photos. Rice is greasy and flavorless. I called to ask for a replacement or refund and they refused to help at all. Now I’m out dinner and the money. I’ve never experienced such poor service or food, ever.

Have tried so many dishes and never been disappointed. The cook deserves an award! The staff are gracious and helpful. The prices are right.

I LOVE Chinese food' I love real Chinese food and I love Americanized Chinese food! I have been a delivery person for 2 Chinese restaurants in Toms River and I have delivered for DoorDash. Based on only the two dishes I had delivered to me at work in Tinton Falls, this place is subpar. Dim Sum pretty much means appetizer or small plate but when its a menu item its a steamed meat pocket thing that can be super tasty depending on the ingredients and the sauce, these were 7 out of 10. I like getting the Pu Pu platter because I get to try a bunch of apps at once. I'd rate the ribs and the chicken skewers 7 out of 10, I expected fantail shrimp and got fried shrimp which I dont really like nor do I like spring rolls. I'd rate the cheese wontons a 2 and the shrimp toast a 4. I could have sworn I read a list of what was in the Pu Pu Platter somewhere but now I cant find it - thats what led me to believe I was getting famtail shrimp and egg rolls. I cannot confidently tell you to not bother eating here without trying a few more dishes but I will definitely be trying other places nearby before i bother giving this one another chance.

The original owner sold the store. Totally different group. The food is definitely NOT the same, infact I no longer eat the due to that fact🤢🤮.

Ordered shrimp lo mein for an early dinner. They give you generous portions. My order only cost $11. I have enough for lunch the next day. This is a small place with seating for only 6-8 people. The food is really good. They have a fried chicken and bananas special for the local clientele. I will need to try that the next time I stop by.

I usually call here to place an order I asked how many chicken wings the had available to order in there menu a women answered who clearly sounded like she didn’t want to be there today . She says what do you want ? I said how many chicken wings do you have available in a order in your menu she hangs up the phone on me I called back didn’t pick up til the 3rd ring and I said you hung up on me? She goes no I said you know what I’ll go somewhere else where they treat customers with respect!!! Sooooo rude when you call the female voice is rude and disrespectful go somewhere else and spend your money where people have moral!

Food nasty and the delivery guy put his foot in my door trying to take tip DO NOT recommend !!

The place is bad business for the community... Railroad Plaza is full of criminal activity ... The food taste like it has been contaminated.. They need a food inspector take an interest due to the lack of sanitation

I ordered the chicken with garlic sauce combo and it didn’t come with an eggroll. Which, is okay… but the spice on this was so intense that I couldn’t eat more that 2 bites. I spent $25 for inedible food. I’m incredibly disappointed. And I like heat but this was way too much. All on top of the missing items.

Hot Sichuan has become my go-to for Chinese takeout in the area. Can’t go wrong if you stay with the Appetizer, Sichuan Specialties and Chef’s Specialities sections of the menu. Legit Sichuan place and spicy. The people are super friendly here and service is quick. (I’m taking points off the atmosphere because it’s not a sit-down place, but it’s not relevant anyway.)

Just spent $29 plus $5 tip. For 2 combinations chicken and broccoli, we got one with lo mien instead of rice $3 upcharge. I wouldn't complain really, but the food had NO FLAVOR! Nothing worse then wet chicken, gross!The only thing we ate after dousing it with soy and duck sauce, was the rice and some lo mien. What a waste ☹️ I don't know how they make any money, I won't be ordering again.

we have been ordering from this place for over 10 years. over the last year, the quality has gone downhill. Our last order was the last time we will ever order from there. I ordered a happy family. I take the first bite and something tasted off. took a second bite and this time almost puked because what ever was on that fork was rancid. I picked up the phone and called them. it was not to complain but to let them know that something they are serving was no good and to check because they are going to get someone sick. was just told that everything was fine and to just comeback for refund. just told them no thanks and that it is now on them if they get someone sick. never going back

I've eaten here twice now and have had great experiences both times. The Kung pao chicken was absolutely delicious and so flavorful. They make ordering very easy and the food is ready pretty quick. They are very good about removing/substitutions which I really appreciate. The food quality and taste is much better. In my opinion, then other Chinese spots in the area. This is absolutely going to be my go to spot for Chinese!

The food had me throw up in the restaurant and store is very under kept with the restaurant in horrid condition the food isn't any better.

Asian take out at the Outlet premium mall. Expensive compared to similar restaurants in other malls. Quanity and quality can be much improved The Bourbon chicken was the saving grace

Ordered Beef in Garlic sauce with Fried rice. Garlic sauce is pure sugar. The beef - not sure what that is but it tastes as bad as it looks. Got white rice instead of Fried rice which was a god send since the only thing I could eat. Wonton soup was all salt. I have not been able to find good Chinese food in Asbury if someone has a recommendation that would be great

They deliver but 9 Times out of 10 you will not get everything you’ve ordered! A while back I ordered my food with a side of garlic sauce and they forgot it. I called and they said they would bring it next time I ordered free of charge. As if I would order from there again. However I did today and I ordered a drink. AGAIN the driver or whoever forgot to bring me my drink. He looked in the car knowing damn well it wasn’t in there. He left and I called them and the girl on the phone spoke 0 English it seemed. Long story short they never brought my drink back eventhough I tipped the driver before I known. Don’t get delivery from this place they are unprofessional.

Yes so I don't know what's the problem with this place they just can't seem to get it together. I order from them again after you know waiting at a few months and all I ordered was a pizza with pepperoni and onions and then the other one had sausage and onions well I received a pepperoni pizza that had 7 pepperoni and a whole lot of onions and the other one had four cups of sausage and a sprinkle of onions. So I'm not ever ever ever ever going to them again. But I will say that the store was spotless clean.

So good! I love the Gyro, they let me order just a few slices and the service is amazing. I often only have cash and they don't make me use door dash ect. Definitely calling tomorrow and ripping even better. It's just Good 💯

Ordered online, waited hour and 10 minutes for delivery. I wasn’t even sure they received my order since it was taking so long. Called 14 times to double check and they kept picking up and placing the phone on the counter so they didn’t need to answer. I understand it was the last day of Sea Hear Now. They were likely slammed due to it being Sunday after the festival. However, if your online system says 35 min and over an hour later a customer wants a simple confirmation they’re order is in, you should at least answer the phone. $60 for cold pizza that took over an hour.
