V-YAN Hot Pot & BBQ
I visit this place at least once a month. A nice twist to a traditional hotpot restaurant. Fresh food. Great staff. Great price and portions. A fraction of the price you would pay if you were in Flushing Queens at any of the numerous hotpot locations. As for the review regarding sangria... You expect wine glasses in an establishment that does NOT offer alcohol. You can BYOB to any restaurant in NJ unless posted otherwise. This includes Five Guys but you don't expect Five Guys to have wine glasses do you? You must never have been to a Korean BBQ or hot pot. All the team members wait on every table. They pool the tips. They all assist each other. You can flag down any of them and they will assist. Hotpot/Korean BBQ is a different style of dining. I am surprised that you didn't complain that you had to cook your own food.
Couple things to mention. No reservations taken whatsoever so plan accordingly. And it’s a BYOB so bring an adult beverage if you wish. Reminder: your party has a 2 hour table limit. Because of its all you can eat nature, the entire table has to order the same level of meal (just BBQ, just hot pot or combo of both) combo of both is $37 FYI. They are not helpful at all with the menu, do some research before hand and be prepared to reel off what you want to try first including what broth you want for your hot pot. They’ll click your order on iPad and the food is at your table before she even leaves so that’s cool. Flag them down to order more! The free sauce bar is great. Mix to your hearts desire. Free self serve ice cream at end too. Yes it gets tedious waiting for little pieces of meat to cook but it’s a cool experience. Ample parking. Cool date spot as it requires teamwork and you have time to chat and drink.
Yummy Taste Chinese Restaurant
Just ordered the Buddha delight and the General Tsu. That was amazing 😍. I am so full but still licking my lips. If you don't like their food maybe reflect on your life.
Got food from here a few weeks back at the recommendation of several friends of mine. I have to say, I'm not sure what food they were eating. The only flavors were grease and what tasted like cigarette smoke. Unappetizing to say the least. I never throw out Chinese leftovers, but these went straight in the trash. Won't be eating here again.
Applebee's Grill + Bar
We tried the All You Can Eat Wings, Shrimp, and Fries deal for $15.99, along with a beef nachos appetizer. The portion size was huge- perfect for two people to share just one appetizer. The beef nachos were even better because they were free when we signed up for their app! Our waitress Alex provided awesome service, being very attentive and making the experience even better. Definitely worth it!
We stopped at this location on our way back from Canada. We were greeted kindly and friendly by Gelman . Sam was our server. She was very helpful and kind. The food and drinks were good. I wish we could have stayed longer for dessert, but we ordered the chocolate meltdown to go.
Tandoori Flames
Update: we went for lunch on a Thursday , and the food was not as impressive. Yes, it was half-priced than the food on weekends, but I did not anticipate such a drop in dish selection and flavor. I would avoid coming here on weekdays. Liked a handful of dishes - sesame chicken, samosa, pani puri water, egg masala, paneer methi malai, curd raita. The other chicken appetizer was bad, the broccoli appetizer had huge chunks of semi-cooked broccoli and tasteless potatoes, daal was ok, biryani was unimpressive, veg noodles were nice. Skipped veg entree, saag aaloo, gulab jamuns. Heard the moong dal halwa had an almost liquid consistency, and was too sweet. Even the naans weren't as good :( Leaving the ratings untouched to reflect the weekend experience. ========================= Excellent buffet! But at a steep price of 27.99 on weekends. Remember to request for Naan some time before you get to main course. Depending on crowd, it can take time. But the wait will be worth it. 60% items were excellent. 20% were good, remaining were ok. Mango or other Lassi is additional $5.00 to buffet. It is not included. Appetizers - samosa and spring rolls were excellent, pani poori was OK. Chicken seekh kebab and malai kebab were ok. Chicken majestic was very good. Gobhi manchurian was crispy but ok tasting. Main course - Excellent paneers - paneer khushbudaar (best), paneer matter - sweeter of the 2. Chicken curry and goat Rogan Josh excellent. Didn't try spinach chicken. Aaloo chhole was ok. Chicken Biryani was OK. Didn't try veg biryani. Sweets - mango rabri was good tasting but was all liquid not semi solid like rabri should be, jalebi and gulag jamun were ok. Gulab jamuns were very soft. Jalebi didn't seem fresh, more like getting one from a pre-packaged box.. and this was at 1pm on Saturday - 1 hr after opening. Daal makhani was good but a little sour for my taste. I don't think the tomatoes were cooked well and that caused the unwanted sourness in the daal. I could see the diced tomatoes in the daal. Overall, it's a good buffet. Total items might be counted as 30 including chutneys but at almost 30/person, I feel it is a good novelty buffet than a frequent dining option for me.
I recently dined at Tandoori flames Restaurant and was delighted by the vibrant ambiance that transported me to Indian authentic taste. The service was impeccable, with knowledgeable staff recommending their specialty dishes. The food was exceptional—rich in flavor and perfectly spiced, especially their Paneer tikka and koya Kaju. The service was impeccable, with knowledgeable staff recommending their specialty dishes.the pricing is very reasonable, the quality and portion sizes justified it. Overall,Tandoori Flames Restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend to any Food enthusiast.
Spice Grill
Amazing first experience at this Indian restaurant! Much better than Moghul Express that is a few miles ahead. The Chili Chicken and Shrimp Hakka Noodles is so tasty with amazing spices! The cook is amazing at this restaurant all of the food had great tasting flavor overall. The quantity of the food was perfect for the price and it’s much more affordable than Moghul. Very caring, friendly and loving service from the staff serving the food.
We went on a Sunday right after they opened, The buffet was excellent very fresh and a good selection. Chili eggplant was delicious. Goat, lamb and chicken were tasty. Excellent biryani rice. Dal and Nan were just okay. Good service as well.
King Wok

Asian Diner
Wow! What a surprise. We were staying at the Quality Inn, and when we checked in, the hotel clerk told us that there was an "Asian restaurant" right off the lobby. It's a Q.I. so we weren't expecting much from the restaurant either. On the second day, we had a long, strenuous day, so we were tired and just wanted to get a quick bite and get to the room. We went to the Asian Diner with low expectations. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised. They have a sushi chef, a decent beer selection, and a good selection of Asian food. The food and service were really good. The Ledgewood roll was beautiful and delicious. The atmosphere could use a little attention, but it's not too bad. I definitely would recommend this place. Try it, you'll like it.
The Asian Diner had a large variety of selections which were excellent. The Pu Pu Platter was flavorful, the salmon sashimi was fresh, and the Asian Diner Roll and Crab Tacos were both plated beautifully and tasty.
Bally Dar
Above average Chinese Takeout. First time trying it. My go to Chinese has become inconsistent so trying other places. Everything I ordered was very delicious and filling. I ordered the Mongolian Triple Feast which had chicken , beef, and shrimp with veggies (peppers, onions, carrots) in a Mongolian sauce and I will absolutely order that again. Chicken and broccoli was good , sesame cold noodles, lo mein and wonton soup all very tasty as well. Definitely recommend and will be back to try other things. Pricing is average for Chinese takeout now adays. Portions are also average as other places. No seating inside takeout only , fast service.
Very disappointed when ordering Beef Fried Rice. Definitely rice included but hardly any onions and NO vegetables. And I must say “where’s the beef?” Not happy and still hungry or should I say “hangry”. Won’t be back. 😔
Thai Nam Phet
We had a great time at Thai Nam Phet. The restaurant has a huge parking space and outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. There is a large vegetarian selection at thi place. The staff is very friendly and the ambience is also great. We do recommend it to someone who wants to try good thai food.
Had dinner here for the first time tonight and it was delicious! Everything tasted fresh and each dish had distinct and vibrant flavors. Our server was also so kind and helpful while navigating the menu. The mango sticky rice is also a must. We got it to go, but it was delightful once we got home. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.
A2B Indian Veg Restaurant - Parsippany
Abdul was an amazing server, he was very friendly and gave my mom and I a wonderful meal, even while busy on Labor Day. I came back, this time with my father, and he was great once again. Highly recommend the restaurant and Abdul as a server. Everyone else is great too. I always have a good time at the restaurant. We’ve started coming as a ritual. :) This time we got the onion coriander dosa, a mango chutney, and ghee pongal.
are Indian friends were incredibly impressed by how Indian this restaurant was lol. this was family friendly, fair and had lots of variet y but tons of food that I couldn't pronounce as you can see in the pictures. it was pretty legit and had good flavors here and there, and is definitely not a 100% vegetarian restaurant, but Great vibes though for family style
Dhaba Express
Extremely pleasant experience. Food was incredible! We’re from Boston and we can’t find food half this good there. Look forward to coming back next visit!
It is a great place to have food. I must say the taste is very good and delicious. The staff is very friendly and hard working i must say. The veg and non veg options are amazing and have a good variety. The place is very busy and running with orders most of the time but still they people are very nice and there is no compromise on the taste. The only thing is would say is to increase the volume of the place to make it more convenient and ambience friendly. Otherwise it is just great to enjoy food and sweets i would definitely recommend people to go there often.
Mizuki Asian Fusion and Hibachi
Been here many times. Always good. Lunch special is a good deal. Tried the Rt 46 roll, it was ok but not for me. Seaweed salad special was good. Sushi pizza was huge. Came with Mango and thick rice pad.
Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, excellent sushi and par for the course pricing. Looking forward to trying their hibachi. Definitely a staple sushi 🍣 place in the area exceeding the others.
