900 Du Chuan Gong Restaurant
Very authentic northeast food! Recommend crispy pork in sweet and sour sauce. This is the best you could get in NYC.
Good northeastern Chinese food
Sheng Jin
Got the rolling donkey since they are known for this. I really loved it😍 with more red bean and less mochi! It cost $2 for each, worth it!! Will come again to try the other food and get one whole box of the rolling donkey😚😚😚
Came here based on a recommendation. Food was very unique as it’s not the type of dishes you can easily find elsewhere. The tofu soup was really good. Tasted hot and fresh and surprisingly spicy. The pancake alone lacked some sauce as it tasted dry with the dough stick, but heavenly when paired with and dipped in the tofu soup. One of the downsides was the staff’s inability to communicate in English or Cantonese, only in Mandarin. The menus were all written in Chinese and the employees behind the counter were a tad rude. We ordered by pointing at what other patrons were eating.
Qing Dao Restaurant (青岛饭店)
A pretty hidden spot to grab casual Chinese breakfast, lunch, and dinner if you’re walking. They also have small pastries and appetizer dishes. Portion is always good. Service is quick and great.
I love the food, but I love gmart tomato sale better today cheapest in the entire New York city.
Yi Feng Yuan
Han Bin Yuan has quickly become one of my favorite spots and a hidden gem in Flushing. I order from them at least once per week! The over rice lunch specials are an absolute steal. The chicken and eggplant is my #1 recommendation. The food is incredibly flavorful and the service is very fast. Definitely check it out while you're in Flushing!
Great authentic food! Ordered spicy beef ($20), pepper and beef ($20), squirrel fish($45). I think these are the name. They are not upfront about the cost for the fish. On the menu, the fish is $32 and they gave me two option of fish to choose from. They did not tell me that the fish I picked would cost $13 extra. They have a requirement of minimum 15% tip, which cost me $14 in tip and $7 in tax. When we asked to wrap the rest of the food for takeout , the cashier brought the food into the kitchen with his thumb dipped in the spicy beef soup. I can not describe how disgusted I am. This is extremely disturbing and unsanitary and it’s not okay. If they held by the rim of the bowl, then it’s fine. I don’t understand why the cashier thinks it’s a good idea to dip his thumb in the soup after handling cash all day??? Buy the food to go cuz probably not a good idea to dine there
Hundred Taste
They have many choices from ordering dishes from them or buying your own food and they can cook it for you. I always love authentic and affordable Fujianese cuisine and this is perfect for me.
Best Chinese breakfast spot found! Delivery super fresh. Food like buns are so delicious and the price is amazing. I highly recommend.
Ding Bian Hu: 陈记鼎边糊
Pretty good Fuzhou cuisine restaurant. Come here for your typical peanut noodles, Fuzhou wonton and fish balls. Price has increased but still reasonable overall. They’ve been around for a very long time. Now it’s newly renovated. There are no bathrooms. Pretty much can’t find parking in this area.
Fried taro and oyster cake were perfectly fried, delicious and pairs well with the flat meat wontons. Reminds me so much of my childhood.
Grand
One of the better dim sum places in Flushing. The place is newly fitted - feels much cleaner than other restaurants. Food was above average - large selection, steaming hot when it’s served, tastes great. Service was good too. Nothing to complain about!
Dimsums are great. Parking in the mall is free for 2 hours when you purchase $50 or more at the supermarket on the 1st fl.
China Fun 新清清
Very rude lady maybe a manger or Lead yelling at customers with no respect. Fuzhounese restaurant but run by northerners?? Bad attitude, Waitress is fine. Food is average. Wouldn’t come again. Don’t recommend!
Pork fried rice was horrible, chicken and broccoli was ok but not the best in town
H.K. Restaurant
Food potion is good. Atmosphere is nice. But the waiters attitude is bad. We went during lunch hour. Not all table is full. But we waited for 10 min for the waitress to come take our order with bad attitude. There attitude and service is so not worth our 18% gratitude that is automatically changed on your bill.
A nice surprise. This place is away from the hustle and bustle, a nice calm brunch here yielded some nice surprises. The peking pork chops, and beef flat noodles was the highlight. If you like shrimp dumplings, you will like the ones they serve here. Shrimp filling is fresh and crispy. Enjoy!
Peking Garden
The service here is nice. The food is served quickly and it is hot and fresh. I would recommend the General Tso’s Chicken or the chicken wings. I love this place and would come again whenever I get the chance.
Good food it made me full the favor was so good I want more
Tianxia Asian Cuisine
The food here is pretty similar to taiwanese cuisine. During lunch they have a great menu for $10/dish. This is a great place to come with large parties. The portions are large and reasonably priced, wouldn't be surprised if prices go up soon.
Had to eat the food later than planned after being delivered due to personal errands. But the food was still great. Everything was filling and hearty. Favorite was the fried taro.
China Garden
On the website, it does say that the credit/debit card minimum is $10. You need to put that in your website. The Chinese lady on the phone was rude and disrespectful, and unprofessional. I ordered White rice and they give me pork fried rice. Make sure to check your order before you walk out the door. I wouldn't recommend ordering from this place.
Regularly go here for work, the normal lady is very nice. Made a mistake. Forgot cash total was not even a full two dollars short of the $10 minimum. The fill in lady was incredibly rude, and nasty unlike the other lady who is a little more understanding. Sad I will not be returning here rude film in lady ruined everything.
