Peking Wok

This place is hands down some of the best I've ever had....and that includes NY city. Extremely friendly and love the town it's located in. The food here is next level....now I'm starting to drool thinking about going again.

This restaurant was recommended as good food and we thought we'd give it a try. We placed our order in the app, which said it would be ready in 55 min. That seemed like a long time but it's a holiday so we planned accordingly. My husband paid for the order when he arrived and thought it would be ready in 55 min, as advertised. After 90 min, I asked him to get a refund, cancel the order, and leave. They assured him they were making the food now and it would be ready shortly. It has now been 2 hours. He is a type 1 diabetic. A wait if 2 hours is literally a death sentence, especially if you only planned for 1 hour. This is unacceptable and, although it seems silly, life threatening. We will not be back.

Max's Market & Eatery

Max's is amazing, the food is super fresh, delicious and the portions are more than generous. Having moved to the area only in the past year, we've been searching for a go-to spot that can work as a quick sit down with a small child, good take out, but also a nice place for date night. Max's hit all 3. The quality of their bistro style take out doesn't sacrifice quality, the quick easy sit down for an early dinner is great with wonderful service, and the evening date night meal has a great ambience you'd expect from a nice Italian restaurant. As a bonus their pizza is great too so really easy to accommodate all ages and eating preferences. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owner's Tony last night as I picked up a later night pie during their $9.99 monday large cheese pizza monday special, close to closing. He was super nice as we talked about business and even gave a few bags of garlic knots to try at home which was just really nice of him. Ever time we've eaten there or gotten take out we see Tony or the other owner which is nice to know that they stay close to the business and there is passion behind what is served. We look forward to continuing to going back to Max's for the above mentioned occasions and using them for catering events in the future when needed.

Max's is absolutely fantastic! I've been there a few times, my most recent visit I wasn't feeling well and requested a soup - They didn't have it on hand but they were so kind and made it for me! They are beyond accommodating and the food is delicious.

Hunan Wok

It's good Chinese food. A place to sit but, not very inviting. They will make your order any way you like. Good lunch specials. Friendly, attentive staff. It's a good solid Chinese take out restaurant!

Excellent hot and sour soup. Plenty of tofu, chinese mushrooms & pork. Spicy and a wonderful melding of flavor in a VERY unpretentious setting. Quite a pleasant surprise.

Panda Garden

The food has absolutely no flavor. Fried pork rice bland and tastes like regular white rice. I ordered roast pork with Chinese vegetables combination platter. It's was loaded with zucchini and onion. Pork was all fat and I even found a bone. It's a whole in the wall place. Quality of the food is NOT authentic Chinese food at all! I wasn't given any Chinese noodles with my platter,so I asked for some and was told that I had to pay for them. I also asked for extra hot sauce and was given (3) small packets. The portions are small for the price. Very dingy atmosphere. I'll not be ordering from them again. I even called to express my complaint of zucchini being used in place of Chinese vegetables and she argued with me. If I want zucchini,I'll grab it from my garden. Whatever was available was used to make my meal which wasn't eaten. Zucchini is NOT a Chinese vegetable. The lady was rude on the phone. I don't know what changed in the restaurant as it used to be good. Not great, but acceptable.

Crab Rangoon’s have absolutely no filling. It’s a shame because the flavor is good. Singapore mei fun one of the best in the area
