As I lived in Southeast Asia for 10+ years, I can assure you this place has quality authentic Thai food. We got Tom Yum soup, white jasmine rice, Pad Thai beef, shrimp fried rice, and Thai iced tea, and it was all so good. Variety of options to choose from the menu, quality food, good service, reasonably priced, located conveniently in downtown Highland Park. As we sat for about an hour, we saw multiple pick up orders non-stop. Loved by locals and we absolutely loved this place! We don’t get why this place only has a 3.9 rating right now.

From the tofu fried rice to the poultry duck, it was surely good stuff we had today. Another good thing to add is that you can also choose the spice levels too so that things don't have to be always so wildly spicy. Our server was nice too. It has been many years since I have had any Thai food, so this was a great experience to have. Looking for high quality authentic Thai food? This is the place that is best for that in Illinois.

The food is sooo delicious and that service is so nice. When I went to pay they were so nice. The food looks so good. I have allergies and they have always taken great care of me.

Update: We tried again, we had fried rice and an entree, unfortunately food was terrible. Downgrading... ********** We were skeptical to try this place given the poor reviews based on  service and food. We rolled the dice and just had chicken fried rice and Singapore noodles for lunch today. We were reasonably satisfied with the taste and quality. Although fried rice was bit too oily and bit salty  overall the flavor was good. Not the typical flavor less rice you get in my most places. Singapore noodles were barely ok. A bit too dry and lack of  flavor.  I feel they are bit pricey for the quantity and quality.

It hits the spot when you need Chinese food and you don’t wanna go very far. The food isn’t that great but it’s pretty good for being downtown Deerfield. Service is great. Food comes quick. There’s only two tables and four chairs total so it’s not really a great place to eat inside. We only have the fried rice so I can’t give it a true honest review because that’s all we had, but the fried rice was pretty lacking in flavor and not very fried.

Ordered General Tsos with pork fried rice, egg rolls and chicken chow mein. Everything I ordered was delicious except for the Chow Mein. I expected that to be a noodle dish like at Panda express (sometimes known as lo mein) but it was a stewy stir fry of veggies and maybe I came on an off day but that one dish was flavorless and visually unappealing. Will try more things here when the craving arises. Give em a try! Update: I ordered Lo mein this time and it was exactly what I wanted. Thanks for the consistently tasty food!

I recently discovered *Once Upon A Bagel*, and it turned out to be so much more than I expected. While working on a project, a friend brought over some food that looked incredible, and when I found out it was from this spot, I had to check it out. What I thought was just a simple bagel shop turned out to be a hidden gem, offering an array of classic foods you don’t find much anymore. The bakery was outstanding, the deli impressive, and the hot food section full of delicious options. I decided to try the matzoh ball soup, and I have to say, it was the best I’ve ever had. Having tried legendary spots like Wolfie's in Miami and Rascals, I can confidently say this soup topped them all. If you’re craving great breakfast, lunch, or some nostalgic classics, I highly recommend stopping by *Once Upon A Bagel*. The place is extremely clean, well-staffed, and serves high-quality food. I can’t wait to go back!

The best chicken panini so far. Not overly filled with different things, just the right amount. The chicken noodle soup was OK.
