Szechuan House
Great Szechuan restaurant. All the food was good, but my personal favorite was their cold noodles with peanuts. So satisfyingly spicy, with a nice crunch of peanuts. The first bite might seem too spicy, but then you can't get enough of it. It's definitely worth a try if you are visiting the Sculptures Park nearby.
We have been coming here for close to a decade. It’s a pity we moved an hour up north but anytime we are close to this area, we will eat here. The spicy dishes are rather spicy and if you are not familiar with Szechuan peppers, it is quite an experience. They have a numbing, tingling sensation and when combined with the Szechuan chillis, it’s quite addictive. This time we tried something we have never tried before that the waitress recommended — their fried squash. Oh my goodness! It was divine. And we always order the Snow Pea tips — deep green leafy vegetable. It is seasonal but it is so worth it. We love the food here.
China Wok
Hello China wok, I am the guy who orders the, General Tso's ☯️ Chicken 🐔 with no rice regularly. I decided to try your location because, my wife and I wash clothes in that location. I am a student of Martial Arts for many years and a Trenton firefighter, so I have a lot of respect for the Chinese people and the food. I had to see how well the food and business were in that location. Honestly, the cleanest Chinese Restaurant in the Area that I know of, Bathroom, Service and food 😋. Well done. Keep up the Amazing work. ☯️ 🥋💯
Delicious Chinese takeout and surprisingly large portions for the prices. We ordered the sesame chicken, chicken in garlic sauce, and beef lo mein, and everything was good. We got small orders of everything and could easily get 2 -3 servings out of each. Very fair prices. Restaurant looked clean and well kept.
Mr China
Mr. China has been around for a long time. It is quite popular for take-outs and deliveries. It also stays open considerably later, until 10;30, which beats other Chinese or Asian food places by an hour and a half, so this is indispensable for the late night munchers. Also, and it's even more important, Mr. China offers the lowest prices in the area. Even significantly lower than a quite affordable Best Choice Sushi, down the road, on Route 33. And there is a reason for it. Please read further. However, our last night visit to Mr. China, with a goal of dining-in, was a rather unpleasant experience. The place is a true hole-in-the-wall, with basically zero decor. The interior of the restaurant doesn't seem quite clean or well kept. Basically, there is no table service. To get sauces, or utensils, or chopsticks, you have to do it yourself. To hope to see a green-top soy sauce (lesser sodium) is a vain expectation. Other restaurant clienteke consisted of GrubHubbers or DoorDashers, hanging out inside and waiting for their orders. The command of English among the restaurant stuff is next to zero. The food was decent, especially the Chinese dishes. The rolls neither looked neatly made nor fresh. So, our advice would be to use Mr. China for deliveries only. In-person visits won't be a good experience.
I don’t know this place passed Health department inspection 🤢. The knife for the sushi looks like they never clean ( they only used the towel ) the bamboo mat ( sushi ) disgusting. Workers not washing their hands scratching their lower back. Gross I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you want to get sick of your stomach.
Le Dish Asian Fusion
Good vegetarian sushi and soup. The sushi rice was under slightly under seasoned and just a bit overcooked. Otherwise, I would have rated a bit higher. My son loved the Tom Kha and the Shirley Temple drink. Loved that they served the hot tea by the pot. The service was excellent. They also gave us 10% off for paying with cash. Overall good experience and very reasonably priced. I would go back.
If I could have given it six stars I would have! This was quite a fine! We've lived in the area for a long time and just never stopped in, but everything we had was amazing from the cowboy sushi roll, to the Thai green curry and the Le Dish supreme! The service was great. The atmosphere was wonderful. Really can't complain about anything! And even the prices were reasonable! Highly recommend bringing cash you get 10% off! Here is an update, went back probably three or four more times. I've tried a little bit of everything on the menu. This time had more sushi it was all outstanding! Hands down. This is one of our favorite places!
Great Wall Restaurant
Ordered egg foo Young and I brought it home. The shrimp was old and refried along with the eggs, also on the bottom. It was totally black because the oil hasn’t been changed in quite a while. It’s very disgusting. I went back for a replacement order and it looked exactly the same as the original one.
Update 3/30/23 Ordered lunch today with a coworker. Food was delicious again. I love this place. Little place to food is good and great service all the time. Been eating here for years and never got any bad food nor bad service. Update 8-14-22 The owner of this place is always looking for good help. He hires them, they stay a few day, gone!! He and his wife are working so hard everyday and yet still the food I'd delicious as always. I always get good fresh vegetables in in dish I order. Wild waiting for your food, you see how fast and hard they work. I give this place not a 5 but a 10!! Please go check them out today. They maybe a small place, but the food I'd always 100% delicious always. If you know people who need to work, go talk to the owner.
China King Chinese Restaurant
Very delicious delicious food here. I had it for first time a few weeks ago and the lady was very accommodating! I ordered chicken sczachuan with added snow peas. When the food came, I was very happy. And I'll be ordering from here from now on.
Boneless BBQ sauce is to my liking. Pork fried rice, egg roll & crab rangoon all good. No complaints. Fast delivery hot food on point thank you
Crab Du Jour
2 peoplr got food poisoning betweem throwing up for a good 6 minutes in their bathroom and diarrhea. No manager on site. Fried flounder was grey and transparent which means it was raw. Kitchen team lead offer insurance or 911. No help at all. No compensation. I reported this matter to health code.
It's nothing like the pictures. If I was not really Hungary, I would have waited to go to another restaurant. The service was almost poor, and it was not even busy. If you have little children who will not eat mitch, you need to let them know before you're seated that you'd like to prepay for the food by weight. I found out after I was seated and my son didn't even eat, but I had to pay full price for him it was then that I was told that next time I should weigh his food. I don't live in the area, but if I did, I wouldn't visit again. The only sea food worth it is the cold shrimp. The other sea food is not worth it. There are not many choices for sea food or sushi.
Panda Express
This was my first time at Panda Express, and I was impressed by the ambiance. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the restaurant had a clean and comfortable setting, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The service was efficient, and I didn’t have to wait long for my food, even though it was somewhat busy. I decided to try a few items from the menu, starting with the veggie spring rolls. They were crispy and light, a great appetizer to begin with. I also ordered the apple cinnamon roll, which had a nice balance of sweetness and spice, perfect for satisfying a dessert craving. For my main dish, I had the spicy chicken, which had a good level of heat and flavorful seasoning. Overall, the meal was enjoyable, and I was happy with the taste and quality of the food. The entire meal cost around $10, which seemed like good value considering the portions and the variety I was able to try. Overall, I had a great first experience at Panda Express and would definitely consider coming back.
Orange chicken is usually a safe bet at Panda Express, but oof. This stuff was way too sweet and the chicken was chewy. Prices are high too!! I could go to an actual Chinese restaurant and get more food, that's higher quality. Ugh. I guess there's a premium for the convenience, but idk if I'd go here again.
Panda Express
What a surprise! The food was fresh and delicious, but the thing that really stood out was the service! Nick made us feel like guests at a sit down restaurant and our family loved the way we were made to feel. He answered all of our questions about the options and made some excellent recommendations! We were stopping by on our way back from the shore, so, if you want the best restaurant with a quick stop off the expressway, go here...and ask for Nick
Ordered from here on uber eats, got a plate with fried rice which literally had no flavor. I think white rice would have more flavor. Got the chow mein, was decent at most. Got the orange chicken which was a 3/10 but somehow was the best part of the meal. Got the teriyaki chicken which wasn’t even given to me. To add on to this mess, the 3/4 things that did arrive were freezing cold. It actually seemed like they took it right out of a fridge and onto the plate.
China Boys
Ordered the pork lo mein, steamed chicken and vegetables and dumplings. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The portions were large and we enjoyed everything we ordered. Great food
I wonder if the people that's given more than a three-star is fake.. their food is not all that great and they give you a hard time on supplying you a condiments. If I order a quart of rice why are you only giving me two duck sause.. six chicken wings with two packs of ketchup.. ask for more and you get an attitude.. like I need something to make the food taste a little better..🤦🏾 they really need to do better.. and the prices 👎.. I've definitely had waaaaay better.. they need to step their game up
honeygrow
Nice clean & spacious location. Staff was courteous. Really like that they have hanging hooks for your bag & charging outlets under the high tables..I think those are nice & important perks when dining in. Being a sucker for art & color, I loved seeing a big mural on their wall. Unfortunately what I ordered wasn’t the greatest. My noodles lacked sauce & was slightly dry,(had to purchase extra sauce)the avocado piece was hard & wasn’t cut into smaller pieces(like usual)Plus my portion wasn’t filled to the top like it usually is. If I’m spending $15+ for food my hope is the portion would be fair & match the price point. Since this was my first time at this location I can’t in all honesty say I wouldn’t go back. But what I’ve learned as a frequent customer of Honey Grow is, not every visit will be the exact same. That’s my only beef with this franchise, the inconsistency from all the locations I’ve been to sorta sucks.
Honey Grow in Hamilton Square makes you feel like you're eating fine dining all because of Dom. Dom is the manager. He is all hands on deck and ensures the restaurant remains clean. Dom goes out of his way to greet customers, ensure they are comfortable and enjoying their food. I have never been there and not seen Dom not help in the kitchen too. Dom sets the atmosphere not only for the customers but also for the employees, especially when the employees don't look very content. Dom is monumental in setting the environment at Honey Grow. If you go to Hamilton Square's Honey Grow say hello to and greet Dom, if he doesn't beat you to it first. Thanks for all you do Dom!
