Rice Bowl Express
Okay I read the reviews and still decided to come here. My head was POUNDING from not eating and being out all day. I know you can't mess up fried rice and if you do, get out the kitchen. Y'all this shrimp fried rice is good. I'm sitting in my car eating it now. I literally could not wait any longer. My head, is pounding okay. The rice needs a little soy sauce but that's fine. It's immaculate. The shrimp are juicy and flavorful. The rice is cooked to perfection. Nice veggies in there too. The portions are great! And it was $10. I like this.
This is not traditional Chinese food. I had the shrimp fried rice and orange chicken. The rice was flavorful, it was not authentic shrimp fried rice. It was more of a lightly fried rice. The orange chicken was not real orange chicken and some pieces were over cooked. The crab Rangoon was burnt. The egg roll was good.
Imperial Buffet
Expectations impact impressions and thereby affect ratings even if I try to not let it. I am human, after all (sorta). We were driving home on a Friday evening, about to go past Boston, so we looked for a good place to eat that was easy and delicious. The ideal place for us would have been something like the now closed Minado's. Because of the misleading AI summary, we thought that was what this place was. Our expectations were definitely not met. This place is a typical Chinese buffet like 90 percent of the restaurants of this type. Describing the food here would be like describing a particular McDonald's restaurant as compared to the other McDonald's restaurants. In other words, basically the same selections, similar tastes, definitely nothing special. It's not bad, not great, but ok within the context of a run of the mill Chinese buffet restaurant. One " incident" that is more a commentary of the crazy US Tipping culture: I paid with a credit card, and we were rummaging our pockets for cash when the server took the signed credit card slip back to the cashier, so we were planning to leave the cash on the table. Cost was $47, I only had $20 bills in my wallet, so we were looking for loose cash of around $10 (which is fairly generous for a $47 bill, even under US standards). In the meantime, the manager came by, ready for battle, asking what was wrong, since there was no tip. We explained and everything was fine, but interestingly, this would never have happened in China or any place in Asia, as there, as in the rest of the world, Tipping is optional additional gratuity for additional service, NOT a culturally mandated subsidy of underpaid workers' basic salary...
So many options. I love this buffet. The food was delicious. The baked haddock, mushrooms, mei fun, spring rolls and the mapo tofu were all my favorites. So many healthy choices available. The sushi is perfect 😋 I enjoyed the desserts too! Fresh fruit, cream puffs, macaroons! They have a lot of American food options as well. Clean place. Excellent service. Can't wait to go back!
Wong's Knights Chop Suey
Found two separate hairs in two separate dishes and when we called to simply ask for a new dish or a refund they then attempted to call us liars and treat us as such. We've been on the phone with them for over 10 minutes now just to return the food and get our money back and they are still arguing with us. This place is disgusting.
Our order was wrong. The food was cold. The american chopsuey was congealed. This was not the first time this has happened, but we wanted to give them another chance. When we called to complain we were told to bring it back. They should have had someone deliver another order. When we told them they were probably going to lose a very good customer they couldn't have cared less. We miss the previous owners, Wong Knight's. Next time we'll just stick to Dan's Pizza next door.

Thai First
The food is always great from here. I got the spicy Mongolian beef extra spicy and it was perfect. The staff is always friendly. We go here often and will definitely be back.
Tried it for the first time and surprised why we didn’t come sooner. Very nice atmosphere. The server was great. The food was good overall. We ordered chicken red curry, chicken eggplants deluxe, and chicken golden noodles. They all tasted good. My only complaint would be the meat was not soaked in well with the sauce. So it tastes by itself a bit. Otherwise, the sauce is good. Good amount of vegetables in every dish. Maybe need a little more meat in the dish? We wouldn’t mind coming back again. We ate some of the dishes before I took the photos.
Magic Kitchen
The dinner meal is great because you get rice and an egg roll or crab Rangoon! I would say the quality of the food isn’t the best. The orange chicken tasted microwaved because it was hard/rubbery on the outside. The crab Rangoon was decent but chewy. I would say the rice was the best part. Would I get it again? I’m not sure.
Really tasty food with generous portions, and friendly staff! I’m not sure if they offer dine-in earlier in the day since it was not available when I came towards closing time. I got two dinner combos: Mongolian Beef & Chicken Egg Foo Young (2 patties!) with fried rice. I really liked that you could choose an egg roll or crab rangoon with the combo. I also got a small Egg Drop Soup that was good! Definitely recommend the Mongolian Beef because it was so flavorful with a hint of spice, and the Chicken Egg Foo Young was tasty! However, I was sad the gravy was missing.. some places have the gravy on top of the Egg Foo Young patty or on the side. Besides that, I would definitely order again!
Golden Wok Chinese Restaurant
so very disappointing, since they remodeled the quality of the food and service has dropped dramatically. This isn't the first time I have had issues with my order, but it will be the last. Ordered on line, missing pieces of the meal (egg roll and sauce) and then there is almost a $10 charge for ordering on line - they call it a 'service charge'. I would no longer recommend this restaurant...I am going to have to find a new favorite Chinese restaurant.
I love, love Golden Wok, been going here for 30 years it is hands down my favorite Chinese place. We were so exited to finally dine in, but when we ordered our usual sesame chicken, we noticed it wasn't the same. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The old sesame chicken was the absolute best around, and we are so sad that it's changed. Writing this is hopes that they might bring it back!
Hunan Garden
For a local buffet option it's really amazing. Priced right with a nice and tasty selection. Friendly atmosphere, staff were more than nice. I arrived early, they made me feel extremely welcomed.
Food quality is bad. This place has reached a new low. Bad quality food and badly prepared. Dirty dining room. High prices. No reason to eat here. Just close ok?
Good Taste
Wish I could give NO STARS based of the delivery guy. He is horrible he left my food outside and just honked the horn when I called and complained the lady just said of sorry. NEVER ordering delivery from here again.
This was our 1st time here. We've been disappointed in the other take out spot's in the area. Egg roll was crispy & flavorful. BBQ bon ribs very good, we'll be going back again for sure.
Shing Wong Kitchen
Typical Chinese takeout a bit in the pricy side good was hot and generous portions but lacked some serious flavor. Bland is an understatement
Your local neighborhood Chinese take-out spot. Food is good, portions are generous and the price is good! The lunch special is a great deal. The staff is very nice. I forgot my drink one time and they remembered when I came back in one or two weeks later, reminded me and gave me it with my order. I didn't even remember it happening. Good stuff!
New Garden Restaurant
The food is alright. They don't put a lot of meat in their fried rice; both the pork and the chicken had few skimpy strands of meat, few vegetables and overall bland. The egg fu young was nice and fresh, not too oily. Sesame chicken ok, chicken wings ok. Basic Chinese fare if you don't feel like going far and you're hungry.
First time eating at this spot, literally 2 minutes walk from where I live it and I’ve always seen people in and out but never stop and try, Not a big fan of Chinese food but I wanted to try something different today and the wings and barbecue sauce was so good.
Bao Dumplings & Bao Tea 寶餃寶茶
I tried their dumpling combo with different fillings - they were really good! I also decided to try out their Chicken with Broccoli and it was pretty good. Maybe it's just me, but I probably would've enjoyed it more with Garlic sauce which I plan on trying for the next visit. Plenty of parking and I liked the decor inside. Definitely worth stopping by for a nice lunch or some dinner to bring home.
The bao dumplings have soups in them, which were great, but the wrap to my opinion was a bit too thick. Beef buns also had too much wrap. Candied fruits were not Chinese traditional. The lavender bubble tea was average. The waitresses mixed up the orders and tables. But all in all, not a bad place for dumplings as there are not many choices in NJ.
