Hong Kong Garden
Amazing food, everything was cooked to perfection and came out hot & delicious. I had ordered from here before multiple times (food has been consistently awesome since my first visit in 2021), but this was my first time doing dine-in. The inside was classy and felt welcoming. Our server was lovely - it seems from reviews that she is one half of the couple who runs the restaurant. I hope to keep coming here as long as I'm able to! Here is a list of the food we had: pu pu platter; shrimp egg foo young; eggplant in garlic sauce; beef lo mein. No complaints whatsoever - everything tasted amazing!
This place is close to my wife's work location and gets good reviews from her. I have eaten here throughout the years was never disappointed. When we first started coming here, my boy was still a toddler, now he is in graduate school, this place is still an old reliable stand-by. The setting is not the fanciest but either is the price. Even after COVID, the price change has really been very reasonable. The same family runs this restaurant seems like forever. There has to be a reason a Chinese restaurant can survive for twenty years with the same ownership. The food is well seasoned, with pleasant texture, and served fast. The best description for this outfit is liken it to a cup of Mom's chicken noodle soup, pure comfort food.
Wild Ginger
first time here,, and had 2 nice takeout orders with good portion of shrimp, chicken n pork in each . and . looking at the menu ,, this place has little more variety of dishes than other places ,, which i will try later .. and my first taste of a stir fry udon dish and it was pretty good .. the youngChow was little over seasoned ,, but again the main portions was very good .. but will reheat tomorrow adding more rice, eggs ... to mellow it out ... i prefer cantonese style cooking ,, but just for a change or new experience ,, this looks like a good place
Flavorful!! First time take out from here and really liked the food. Ordered Hot and Sour soup, Fried rice and Singapore noodles. Will definitely go back to try out the other items.
Aroma Royal Thai Cuisine
First time visit. I had high hopes for this restaurant, but it fell short of expectations. The menu sounded promising, but the portion sizes were small, and the prices were on the higher side. Service was good. We ordered pad Thai and vegetable fried rice. PadThai was slightly undercook. Fried rice was good. Also, there were flies all over the place.
If you are looking for good taste in food but no fancy dining, go for it. Good service, it’s likely a homely feel unlike those chain restaurants where I usually don’t like the service. I’d definitely visit again for good Thai food near my house
Asian City Chinese & Japanese restaurant
I was pleasantly surprised with how good the sushi was here. I got the sashimi lunch special which was about $17 and came with a soup. Everything was super fresh and definitely worth it. You can see the quality of the fish here. Service was also great and her recommendations were on point. Will definitely be going back soon.
Ordered delivery via Uber eats.. the sashimis did not have the right texture. They were either breaking apart while picking them up or too fibrous in mouth. In fact salmon sashimi had bones.. tuna sashimi tasted off. Even the Miso soup was disappointing. Definitely not a place for Sushi/Sashimi.
Nalan Indian Cuisine - Rt27
My family and I recently went to Nalan for a birthday dinner, and it was a pleasant experience! For appetizers, we ordered the 555 Gobi and Gobi 65 for for different levels of spice, as well as the Guntur Paneer. The guntur spice is next level 🤌🏽 Mouth was burning but I loved it. Next, we got the samosa chaat. There was a bit of something to it, like something was off, but it still tasted very good! Lastly, we did orders of vegetable biryani and egg biryani. The vegetable biryani had paneer bits in it and the spices in it and the salan really put everything together. The only reason the service isn’t rated highly is because the egg biryani we ordered initially had chicken in it… but once we informed the staff, they got us a new one. Besides that, they didn’t provide any serving spoons for any of the apps or entrees, but were given them upon requesting them. That does still give them points in my book!
Start with one liner "avg indian food" Selected this to try this. Got the Biryani, chicken 65, mirch pakoda. Chicken 5l65 was tasting like if cooked only in vinegar, it was so horrible. Other chicken starter was ok, no complaints. Mutton, chicken and veg Biryani was ok.
Chatpati Delhi
An excellent addition to the New Jersey desi food scene. Everything we tried was good. Service was quick and efficient. There were just three of us diners and that limited how much we could order and taste. So I am coming back in a bigger group to try more items on the menu.
I live about 40 minutes south in Lawrenceville, and the food at Chatpati is worth the drive up. Easily the best Indian cuisine I’ve had in Jersey despite the humble ambiance. Think fast casual, but with a culinary team that has deep respect, and love, for the food they create. Every dish was executed well. Big flavors, contrasting textures, gracious staff. Will return often.
Five Spice
We had guests over and had to find a place that was good, found it via google and must say this is the best Biryani we have had in a long time, the double ka meetha and the bagara baigan was excellent too. My boys loved the Paneer dishes and chicken tikka and other appetizers. Thanks to the Chef, he was able to make 4 trays of Fresh Biryani on a short notice. We highly recommend the place. Its small and h9mely and excellent service and price. Keep up the good work.
Most Delicious food for our party. Everything from Quantity, Quality, Taste/Spice level was perfectly managed. We ordered various dishes, and our experience was amazing. Pav Bhaji and Biryani was very tasty. 100% recommend Cloud Kitchen.
DESI FOOD GALAXY
Literally one of my favorite places ever. Food is sooo great, the options are plentiful. Service is friendly and feels authentic. The spice is delicious and the food comes pretty quick. Good prices for the quality. LOVE IT HERE. I implore you to visit. You will not regret it.
Ordered aloo papadi chaat from the pujabi chaat corner costed about 9$ and totally worthless. It was just boiled potato and some spoiled pieces of namak para. Didn’t even had any chutney just a little bit of curd. It was so bad that I had to throw after having two bits. After serving they don’t have same that they are asking it is good na. Whats a shameless people.
Village Plaza
I went for car wash at Village Plaza. They do wonderful job.
Visited Princeton Eye group and opticians. Service was excellent. It was beyond my expectations.
Kam Luang Restaurant
The one lady (I’m assuming the owner) was super rude & slammed my receipt on the counter because I was a few cents short. She also slammed my food on the counter when I walked back in. The dumplings were given to me in a round container that had a hole on the cap. Dumplings were not all that. China Chef on Easton Ave by Planet Fitness is so much better and customer service is way more friendly! It’s also a few dollars more expensive than China Chef.
I was uncomfortable there. I needed clarity as to why the price of my order was so high because the price on the menu online and in the store was different. So I was a little confused at first but then the lady who took my order explained it to me and I realized that the prices were different on the actual menu compared to my receipt. There was no argument. There was no loud talking or anything like that. However, a man came up to the front from the back and just stood there in front of me. I don't know why he felt the need to do that, but it felt very aggressive and like an attempt to intimidate.
Spice Rack Indian Fusion, Restaurant-Bar-Banquet
Fantastic meal with a better atmosphere. Spicy Rack one of the very first Indian Restaurants I have been too have successfully captivated automation with industry service to provide an unreal experience. The food quality 10/10. The service 10/10. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. Definitely will come back again. Thank you Spicy Rack - Truly.
I had my baby shower at this venue, and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. The problems began when they changed the agreed-upon setup time for my decorator from 9 AM to 10 AM just two days before the event. My decorator needed 3 hours to set up, and after much back and forth, they finally agreed to let us set up from 9:00 to 9:30 AM. However, the staff didn’t even show up until 10:45 AM, which left us with almost no time to get everything ready before my baby shower at 12:00 PM. The owner, Nitin, was completely unresponsive and ignored me, my husband, and the decorator despite multiple attempts to contact him. By multiple attempts I mean 100 phone calls and multiple texts and emails. The manager, Karan, finally showed up at 11:00 AM, acting like everything was fine while I was in full-blown anxiety mode. When we were finally allowed into the venue, the place was a mess—tables were not set up as we had discussed, chairs were stacked up, and nothing was ready. The bathrooms were filthy, and the tablecloths had stains all over them. At 7 ½ months pregnant, I had to move tables and chairs myself because the staff had done nothing. If something had happened to myself or my baby, this would have gone a lot further than just this review. The way that Karan spoke to me was out of line and provided responses such as “why would you move the tables and chairs then?” Or “you need to talk to Nitin.” My question is… who else was going to move the tables and chairs if their staff wasn’t there to do it? Also, how would I talk to Nitin if he never responds? Let’s also mention that when my guests arrived at 12:00, set up was still being done and there were boxes everywhere, my decorator was still setting up, and the event didn’t start until 12:40. Who wants that type of embarrassment during a very special event? Let me also mention the end of the event when Karan rudely tried to kick us out and had no patience on our decorator to get there to pick up his equipment and decorations. He had the audacity to think that we were going to rush out of there after their lack of urgency for us in the morning. The only positive part of the experience was the chef who cooked amazing food, but everything else was a nightmare. If you're considering this venue for your event, please do yourself a favor and avoid it. The stress, the lack of communication, and the poor service are just not worth it. See photos of the space prior to the event as well as the zero communication with Nitin from start to finish. Please don’t allow this type of treatment and do not give this business or this owner your money.
China Chefs
Rice is horrible chicken is good egg drop soup is disgusting! French fries over cooked..
Freshly made while you wait nutritious Chinese food! Fast and friendly service. Very pocket friendly, served in large portions. Can't fault their service especially on Xmas day... Bravo 👏 Definitely shall go back for more...
