No. 1 Chinese
I've been eating at No. 1 for years, I'd say close to 20 years now. The food is delicious and is one of the best. But it's not, taxing your customers almost double the price now and raising the prices every month ever since covid, the best. I get that prices went up everywhere. But here it seems prices went up and the food portions stayed the same and some even went down. I'll be lucky if my $9 boneless spare ribs lunch special even has enough meat and rice like it did 2-3 year ago, back when it was still a reasonable $5.50-$6. They'd fill up the tray, now it's half the portion of what they used to give. The pork egg rolls? More like cabbage rolls with pork bits. They used to have actual chunks of pork and now it's mainly just cabbage with the smallest bits of pork you've ever seen. Not even an ant would get full from those small bits. Even Ming's Garden, the absolute worst Chinese place in town, gives better portions. As does Golden Dragon and both of these places have lower prices and have been steady with the rising prices. Unlike No. 1 who's Chinese greed finally caught up to them. While I love the food and will continue to eat there, they need to know that customers notice small changes like this. Especially those who have been eating here for almost 20 years. If they continue these patterns, they risk losing loyal customers and damaging their long standing reputation, potentially becoming No. 2 Chinese...
The worst chinese food i have ever eaten. Bland is not even the word that can describe what a waste of money this was. Plus i am posting a pic of the reciept. Look at all the extra ridiculous charges and yet the do not tell you and you wind up tipping them anyway. So if you do have to order from here do not tip thats what the extra charges are for. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!
四海江湖菜 All Blue Chinese Cuisine
I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant today! The standout for me was the radish, something I had never tried before, and it was absolutely delicious. It had a perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors that complemented everything I ate. I also ordered the lunch combo of stir-fry beef, which was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and satisfying. The restaurant itself was spotless, with clean floors and tables, which made the experience even better. The food, service, and cleanliness were all top-notch. I will definitely be back!
Everything tastes kinda similar and too oily. The flavors not bad just too much oil which made everything leaves that greasy layer in your mouth and need to drink a lot of water.
Ram & Rooster
Enjoyed an unbelievable experience a few nights ago. The food was incredible and meticulously prepared and had us eagerly awaiting each course. The standouts from the December tasting menu were the Otoro and Shrimp Toast, but really everything was fantastic. Service was impeccable and the ambiance was perfect. We'll definitely be back. If you're looking for an elevated Asian foodie experience this is the place.
I had an amazing dining experience at Ram & Rooster! The atmosphere is cozy and vibrant, perfect for a night out with friends or a casual dinner. The menu offers a great selection of dishes, and everything we ordered was packed with flavor. The standout for me was the roasted duck – tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed. Whether you're a fan of comfort food or looking for something a bit more adventurous, Ram & Rooster has something for everyone. Highly recommend!
Shanghai Bun
Disappointing. Service was absent. We could’ve just walked out and not pay because the workers there didn’t want to come out and do anything. They forgot what we ordered. Nobody sat in there. The food is so so. We ordered Xiao long bao, pan fried dumplings, and regular fried dumplings. And the scallion pancake was questionable. Maybe I’m just not used to it. Total $34
Food is VERY hit or miss. Some items are more tasty than others. Overall food quality is better some days than others. We have probably ordered food from here 5 times and been disappointed 3 out of 5 times now. Those odds aren't good enough for us to reorder again, especially considering the price.
China Express
The food by itself since my childhood has always been 5 stars. Any dish I have ever tried is always above average. My personal standouts are Crab Rangoon, Dumplings, Garlic Sauce Dishes, Hot and Sour Soup, Wonton Soup, Moo Shu. =]]
For takeout it's awesome. It is not a place that I would sit down and eat at you most certainly can. But it definitely seems extremely boring and I also need to add that I only eat shrimp rolls mostly which they are awesome maybe once in awhile I will go for an egg roll which is fine. The soup is good and boneless spare ribs are good and the orange chicken is awesome
Tian Asian Express

山城码头
First time here and we are pleasantly surprised! All-you-can-eat style hot pot with fresh ingredients especially for the seafood. The lobster is so fresh and it’s on the house. Excellent service too. Would visit again!
Great service, all the food is super fresh. Will come back again
J & P Chinese Restaurant
Since moving here we tried a bunch of different places until finding J&P. Four four years now this is the only spot that we all consistently love and has stellar service. They don't deliver to us so we go and pick it up, it's ALWAYS ready within 15 minutes. Service is great, food is always awesome.
Sesame Chicken is fire! We love it
Yong Hing Garden
Just moved in the East Brunswick area about a year ago. I’ve tried a few Chinese restaurants and eventually tried this one. This has been the best Chinese food that I’ve tried. I’ve ordered 4 times since my first order and haven’t been disappointed. My Chinese food search has come to the end as this is my Go-To Chinese store! Food has always been hot and fresh! Service is fairly quick as well.
Our favorite Chinese takeout spot closed a while back and we've been trying every place in the area and hadn't found a great place until we tried Yong Hing Garden.
Kumar Soni Plaza
Great place to find multiple Indian food options from chaat to biryani to North Indian to Chinese under one roof. Some counters are pure vegetarian so that also is helpful for folks. All in all a good spot to have some quick bite with a group.
Very authentic dishes and flavor i got after a long time. There were plenty of options available right from chat to chote bhature to biryani and chinese. I like the way, kitchens were separated according to menu, it distributes the customer traffic and also the load on kitchens. The service was okayish. It costs around $10 to $15 per person.
Teriyaki Madness
If you’re a fan of bold, flavorful teriyaki, Teriyaki Madness is an absolute must-visit! Their Teriyaki Chicken is by far the best I’ve ever had—perfectly grilled, tender, and drenched in their rich, savory sauce that strikes the perfect balance between sweet and salty. The portions are generous, and every bite is packed with flavor. Whether you go for their rice bowls, noodles, or combo plates, you can taste the freshness in every ingredient. The service is friendly and fast, making it an easy choice for a quick yet satisfying meal. If you’re looking for top-notch teriyaki, Teriyaki Madness is the place to be. Highly recommend!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Incredible Experience at Teriyaki Madness! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment I placed my order online to the very last bite of my meal, Teriyaki Madness delivered perfection. Ordering online was seamless—super quick, user-friendly, and the rewards program is honestly one of the best I’ve come across. Who doesn’t love earning points while enjoying delicious food? Now, let’s talk about the food—WOW! Every dish was served piping hot, and the portions? Huge! You definitely get your money’s worth here. The teriyaki chicken was tender and flavorful, the sauce was perfectly balanced between sweet and savory, and the rice was cooked to perfection. Every bite was pure bliss, and I could tell the ingredients were fresh. The customer service was equally impressive. Nora was absolutely amazing—so friendly, attentive, and genuinely made me feel like a valued customer. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and her warm energy added such a positive vibe to my visit. It’s rare to find a place where the food, service, and overall experience are this consistently fantastic. Teriyaki Madness isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. I’ll definitely be back, and I’m already looking forward to my next order. If you haven’t tried Teriyaki Madness yet, do yourself a favor and go—you won’t regret it!
