Lilac Blossom (Sky Meadow)
Couldn't be happier a restuarant as good as this is close to me. I recommend the Amazing Chicken and Fried Rice. The Mai Tai is always refreshing. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere, relaxing
The food was just ok, but I am HUGELY DISAPPOINTED in the amount of food I got. I ordered a poo poo platter for 4. Here is what I received for 67.00 4 pieces of shrimp, 4 spare ribs (one with hardly any meat on the bone), 6 crab Rangoon, 4 tiny little spring rolls, 4 chicken wings and some chicken fingers. That means 4 hungry people will only get one piece of of each appetizer. For 67.00 I expected way more food at least 2 or 3 appetizers for each person, was what I am use to getting. I called to see if there was a mistake, like maybe I was given a poo poo for 2. They said no it was correct and sorry have a nice night š Update: I called Lilac Blossom back bc I really thought there was a mistake after I found only 3 forks, 3 napkins, 3 soy sauce packets and 3 fortune cookies. They put the manager on the phone and he was rude and raised his voice while speaking to me and said that is their standard. He said someone packed the forks/napkins etc wrong. He also stated they gave me an extra crab Rangoon and that I should have only gotten 4. š (Hope no one gets fired bc I got 2 extra according to this jerks standards.) I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK because of how I was treated by this manager and the quantity of food was poor.
Lee & Mt Fuji
Beautiful, delicious dishes with options for the whole family! The General Tso's Tofu is my absolute favorite and I've yet to find better tofu anywhere else!
Very interesting restaurant and not at all what we expected but we were still pleasantly satisfied! This is the family home. We parked in the lot off the road to the left of the building and entered through the front porch door. We were the only guests there at lunchtime which felt a bit odd but we wanted to see for ourselves. I thought it was the wrong door because it led to a room and hallway that looked like someone's living quarters. We were greeted by a friendly hostess. I asked if we came in the wrong door and she said either way is fine. So, come to find out, there is a back lot and back entrance that comes into one of the main dining areas. The atmosphere could use some work - could be a bit cleaner, brighter, with some general upgrades. BUT, THE SUSHI WAS FABULOUS! š£ It was my husband's birthday and he loves sushi, so we wanted to try something new. The miso soup was excellent. The salad was basic. The service was great! Some more customers came in while we were eating so that made it a little less awkward. Overall, we would go back!
King's Garden
This family owned restaurant is great. The food is always great and the service is fast. The portions are plenty and the family is kind. My favorite is the shrimp with broccoli and the fried dumplings. Who am I kidding. Everything at Kings Garden is my favorite. Jackie worked for the original owners for years before buying the business with his beautiful wife Judy. Support local!
The food here taste fresh and sooo good! Definitely go inside for a try! Downside only set up with three tables but itās definitely worth the food! Price is perfect NOT OVER PRICED!
Cherry Garden
Really good Asian food! Way better than what we have in the Concord area. Diverse menu with something for everyone. Including dinner and lunch specials. Love the lunch boxes! Pretty good sushi too! Plenty of seating not too busy at lunch weekdays. Everything was delicious. Service was pretty good. Wasn't too expensive. The bathroom is down a weird shared hallway and needs better maintenance.
The food was decent, and the staff was attentive, which made for a generally pleasant experience. However, be aware that if you're looking for lunch on a Sunday, you won't be able to take advantage of the lunch specials, as it's the only day they don't offer them. A bit disappointing for those hoping for a deal, but overall, not a bad spot to grab a meal.
China Wok Restaurant
Delicious and Affordable General Tso's Combo Looking for great Chinese food on a budget? The General Tso's lunch combo delivers crispy, flavorful chicken in a perfect sweet-spicy sauce. At just $9.99, the huge portion is unbeatable for value. While the dining area is simple and could use a refresh, the food more than makes up for it. A must-try for a satisfying meal!
I can't comment on atmosphere as I didn't dine in, however, the online ordering was easy as pie, the menu was plentiful and with lots of options and flavorful ones at that. They delivered super quick to the hotel and the delivery man was awesome. He was very friendly, and told me the food would definitely fill me up. Boy was he right! Talk about generous portions, I had a hard time eating it all there was so much food! But I did! It was so good I ate every bite! It was also affordable! $15! 5 star review for everyone at this fine establishment, especially the delivery guy for being so quick!
Feng Tong Chinese Kitchen
This use to be my favorite place to order Chinese takeout out. We ordered tonight and none of the food was the same. It must be under new ownership. It wasnāt necessarily bad, but the food was very different. It wasnāt my preference and likely wouldnāt order it again. In case you havenāt ordered here in a while just know it is not the same food.
Ordered tonight for my first time. New favorite take out Chinese for the area.
Jade Dragon
Had a great lunch here. Incredibly generous portions of good, straight-forward American-style Chinese food, and brown rice is available. Extremely courteous and friendly service. And a surprisingly stylish and hopping atmosphere for a place tucked away in a strip mall that's not easily seen from the road. Overall a terrific place. Update: we went back a second time to Jade Dragon a couple of days ago and it was once again terrific. The jalapeƱo sushi appetizer was particularly fantastic b
I love the place!! Great place to go and sit down have a beverage, chat with locals and take home some fantastic food. Or go sit with your family to have great spirits, Sushi and Asian cuisine.
Han Fusion
Great Chinese food but donāt order Thai or some other dishes from menu. Udon noodles, Szechuan tofu with mushrooms and chicken fried rice were very good. Green curry tofu was not good. Great ambience and service was good. They charge extra with credit card though.
This place is really good! Theyāve got a lot of classic dishes. Things that remind me of food my mom cooks and dishes we always order for Chinese New Year. Thereās a nice variety of vegetarian dishes. I love the cumin lamb and the tomato egg.
Oriental Wok Express
Found this unassuming restaurant / take out place on our ski trip. Itās hidden in the Mobile gas station, but is very clean and friendly. For a small take-out place, it carries a very ambitious menu, with several authentic Chinese dishes and a big sushi roll menu. All the food we ordered tasted great with good portion.
Donāt let the gas station location fool you. I just polished off probably the best chicken and broccoli Iāve ever ordered. Iāve been to China, and other Eastern countries, and Iām including those experiences. So delicious!
Happy Dumpling
Very exciting new addition to Upper Valley Asian food scene. I ordered pork soup dumplings and spicy chili oil dumplings. Delicious handmade dumplings for the most reasonable price, dough to filling ratio is great to taste, and theyāre seasoned really well. Clean and organized dine-in area, owner and staffs seem very kind and helpful. Cannot wait to come back soon!
Finally an exceptional authentic dumpling restaurant. This place is an absolute GEM!This place and Han Fusion are the only Chinese restaurants Iād order from. The dumplings are simply amazing - wrappers are thin but sturdy, unlike Men at Wok where the dough is literally as thick as bao bun dough. The fillings are flavorful. The beef noodle soup is equally outstanding. Broth is extremely rich and flavorful with just the right amount of spiciness. The noodles taste like theyāre hand made. And the beef⦠the beef just melts in your mouth. Iām also surprised they have the Taiwanese popcorn chicken, as itās not a very common, especially in this area. It is crunchy, golden perfection on the outside, but tender and juicy inside.
Sunny Garden
Good food.... terrific service Sharon was friendly and nice and welcoming would strongly recommend a scorpion š¦ bowl.
Well done! I dropped in and made a takeout order here. I ordered sesame chicken with pork fried rice and a spring roll. My order was ready in about 15 minutes. I got everything I ordered and everything was hot and delicious. The portions were generous too, so I have a nice snack left for later.
New Century
The food was awesome, but I was left with a slightly bad taste in my mouth. I placed a togo order today at lunchtime. A very friendly lady took my order, which was General Gau Chicken with Pork Fried Rice and a Spring Roll for two. I was kindly offered a comfortable place to sit while my order was prepared. My order came in about ten minutes, and the friendly lady assured me everything was freshly prepared as she handed me the bag. When I got home I found my order was accurately packaged, and indeed, it was freshly prepared and so delicious. The meal was really delightful. After the meal, just for fun, I opened the fortune cookie that came with my order. The paper inside had a message and lucky numbers on one side, like you'd expect, but on the other side was a political advertisement that I really didn't expect. I didn't hate the message, but I didn't think it was appropriate, so I removed a star from my review. I'll still return to try something else on the menu.
This has always been our go to for Chinese takeout. EVERYTHING we ordered was tasteless, greasy and poorly presented. Spring rolls were dripping with grease and only had mushy cabbage inside. Orange chicken had no veggies at all and no sauce; flavorless and tough. Crab rangoons were overcooked, no crab flavor and hardly anything inside the wonton. Prices had also gone up considerably. Will not be giving them another chance.
