Excellent Chinese cuisine! I'm very particular in the taste of Chinese food, so I'm always weary of trying new places. I tried Yang a few years ago, and have yet to eat Chinese food anywhere else. The two owners do a marvelous job at meeting demand of customers. Highly recommendšŸ˜‹

Been coming here since I was 13 . Food is consistent , always Fresh , and always delicious. In my humble opinion they have some of the best crab Rangoon in STL . Most Chinese establishments I’ve eaten at always have sweet crab Rangoon I prefer mine savory and they make it savory and crispy so If you’re looking for some Chinese food hits the spot this is the stop šŸ¤·šŸ¾ā€ā™‚ļø

The food was OK. I kind of felt that I got ripped when I ordered a whole order of pork fried rice. It came to a little bitty small plastic container. I was very upset with that because a couple weeks prior I ordered a half order of fried rice and it pretty much came in the same plastic container. I like my rice to come in boxes like old-fashioned way. But the food was very good though I still come back

Update with new mgt- (have had 3x now). Not great! The potstickers are oily. The Mongolian beef is darker, the house beef flavor is flat. Its a shame. It was my favorite Chinese food. My whole family misses Jimmy!!!! No longer cash only. Great food, great service! Dont forget it's cash only!

There are quite a few reviews that bash this place, but I have a more positive perspective (Combination plate). 1) They are always prompt at lunch. 2) The value for the meal is outstanding. You could easily pay $5 more somewhere else. 3) The main ingredients are always fresh and tasty and they use a lot of vegetables 4) The combination plate stays the same price all day. Some places charge more for the same thing at dinner. // Overall I highly recommend this place. Try the black pepper chicken, it is unique.

Ordered 2 orders of house special fried rice which only had 5 raw looking pieces of shrimp, a couple tiny slivers of ham and some green pepper and a little onion, no other meat at all. Called the store and the guy was very rude and called me a liar, I told him I can take a Pic and send it to him, he refused, i asked him to send me some meat or bring a new order and he refused. I told him I'll lane a bad review after this and he said go do it then I dont care! Horrible service and rude workers. Never again!

First time and I’m impressed! I’m simple but tried the chicken teriyaki and it’s fire! I was a little nervous as I never been here before and it’s a stigma that rice in the county isn’t as good as in the city. This place will give them a run for their money! Check this place out for yourself. Shoulda known it was gonna be good by the peace Vess soda!

I am a first time customer. The outside looks a little dingy, but don't let that keep you from trying it. In reading the reviews there are a handful of people that have had issues, but many have had a good experience. I had to do a double-take on the lunch menu prices. They are at pre-pandemic levels. In other words, this place is incredibly reasonable. I had the Kung Pao Chicken lunch to go. It was ready in minutes. The egg roll was crispy and hot. For basically $7+tax, try to find a freshly prepared lunch meal anywhere for that. I will be back. I highly recommend this place.

This place is legit!!! Found it by chance, and decided to check it out. It’s a small restaurant, with 3 tables and 4 chairs each. What I really enjoyed about this place is, quick service, and amazing prices!! $8.50 for a combo fried rice large!!! Sign me up. I also noticed, their prices have stood firm. The prices from. 3 years ago, are still current today. Gotta respect that. Support your local mom and pop shop. Also, they have an ā€œAā€ rating with the health department, another plus! They definitely providing a service to the community

My favorite Chinese place in town. It's not fancy - there are only three tables at this little hole in the wall. But the food is tremendous. Good serving sizes, reasonable prices, and the consistency is locked in. Try this place, you will love it.

I come here to greet the St. Paul sandwiches!! There are so fresh, hot and everything is balanced. Just enough mayo, tomato, and pickle. The salt and pepper is the cherry on top. I always get the shrimp St. Paul.

My parents have been bringing me here since I was a child. They have the best St. Paul sandwiches.

I stopped in today and got lucky enough to get Alana! Alana was so helpful from the time we walked in till the time we walked out! It being my first time she recommended some great dishes and drink to my boyfriend and I! I’m so happy we listened because the shrimp dumplings were everything she said they would be! Nothing short of amazing and delicious! She also recommended the Zen margarita which was also amazing I felt good as I was drinking it! Although it was my boyfriend’s first time she got him to try something new and he loved it! That spicy chicken was delicious! Alana checked in on us frequently even though she was busy. She boxed my food up for also put together a to go order I made after eating (because the food is just that great I had to have some at home for later)! If you happen to stop in this location ask for Alana she will steer you in the right direction! She kept smiles on our face every time she came to the table. I can only leave 5 stars but she deserves her 10’s! Thank you Alana we’ll be back soon to visit you!

Visited on a Sunday for dinner—it was pretty quiet. We ordered crispy beans, veg spring rolls, signature lo mein with tofu, sesame chicken with rice, and banana spring rolls for dessert. Crispy beans were a big letdown—too oily and undercooked even after a replacement. Spring rolls were just okay. The signature lo mein was flavorful and delicious, and my friends enjoyed the sesame chicken. The highlight was definitely the banana spring rolls—crispy, tasty, and paired perfectly with pineapple coconut ice cream. Overall, a decent experience with some hits and misses.

I had the best experience I've had in a long time. The food was hot, very well seasoned, they bought my food to the car because of the weather, the didn't hesitate to help. The price was terrific. I called in and was greeted with nothing bit the best service.

Potstickers are delicious and come with a dipping sauce. I got mine steamed. Portions are generous, and it tastes exactly how you would expect Chinese takeout to taste! Delish. And the combos come with a soda. I Will be going back!

Edit: Now that the store has a new owner, his communication is better and he is really friendly [One time I forgot an item, and he left the store and chased me down to give it to me which was awesome.] the food is good and affordable. However, one issue I have is with the waiting times. I usually call in ahead of time and wait 5 mins before going in, but usually when I get there I’m still waiting usually 8-10 minutes for my order, even during down times. The store is really clean though, and is small so due to covid precautions I usually wait outside. But overall it’s a nice place for good comfort food.

Been eating here since a kid..they have different owners but the same great food they always have had šŸ’ŖšŸ½šŸ’Æ

Restaurant is a little dirty, but we went there to get Chinese food because it was close. It was a nice experience besides the inside, food was good. We got takeout. We were gonna eat there but due to clientele and poor restaurant interior, we decided to take the food home. Overall good service. I don’t know what the other reviews are talking about. We had never been there before yet staff treated us nice and was speedy service despite us not being oriental. If I was in the area and I went to Chinese food, I’d eat here again, but I’m definitely open to trying different restaurants in the area. Food was not overly stand outish. Despite there being a large container of fortune cookies, they did not give us any in our food. I guess you have to ask for them? It’s kind of weird you would think with Chinese food you would get it fortune cookies no matter what.

Pretty amazing food, coming from a little hole in the wall. This restaurant has been around for as long as I can remember! Anytime I visit STl, we are definitely stopping by for a meal! Crab ragoons are the best! NOT sweet, but full of flavor! Used to have the best vegetable fried rice until they started adding bell peppers and other stuff to it. The food overall is awesome, as is the staff... been there for years!

Good food... I chose to eat in... The big problem was they played on loop Craig Morgan Almost Home. Which is a country song I googled it. I'm a big dude and I couldn't eat all of the lunch sweet and sour chicken special. I highly recommend this place check them out

Be careful ordering online through menufy! Day after ordering, I received a phone call stating that they were my credit card company and were trying to fill in the rest of my information to use it. Besides home depot, this was the only other charge within the past few months. Besides the above, the food has been going down hill. I haven't seen the younger owner the last several times I've been there (he's awesome and always upbeat!). Maybe this is why the food isn't as good?

Ordered the family meal. Soup tasted good but no dried noodles as crackers offered. Egg roll over cooked and greasy. Left a pool of grease on plate. Ordered mildly spicy 3 and no spice tasted. Had peppers on dish but didn't tasted like cooked with it. Food was mediocre at best. Didn't even offer extra napkina.

I really wanted to enjoy my experience at 101 Asian Cuisine, and to be fair, the service was absolutely outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt welcome throughout our visit. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the same standard. I ordered the shrimp fried rice, and while the portion was generous, several of the shrimp hadn’t been deveined, which was disappointing. It’s a small detail, but one that makes a big difference. The pork egg roll left a lot to be desired. It tasted like something you’d get from a cheap, frozen vendor—definitely not freshly made. The texture and flavor just screamed "mass-produced." The biggest letdown, though, was the orange chicken. It was clear from the first bite that this dish started off frozen and prepackaged. The sauce was overly sweet, and the chicken itself lacked any juiciness and was instead, dry. I’m sure there are better dishes on the menu, and based on the exceptional service, I’d be willing to give them another shot. But for now, I can’t recommend the dishes we tried. Hopefully, next time the food will match the level of care and attention their staff provides.
