Ajo & Orégano Latin cuisine and BAR
Ajo was a great spot to try! I’d been curious about it since it’s right next to my college, and I wasn’t disappointed. The chicharrón was super crispy and flavorful—definitely a highlight for me. My friend tried plantains for the first time and ended up loving them, which was fun to see. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was solid. Overall, it was a really good experience, and I’d come back to try more!
Terrible quality long wait time, bad pork chops they were dry as a bone and flavorless, hamburger tasted like garlic and was as dry as the pork chops(how do you mess up a hamburger?) french fries had no salt and were undercooked. To top it off it cost 80.00 bucks to feed 4 people, don't waste your money or time. This is not representative of "latin" cuisine.
Old Country Seafood
I ordered general toss chicken and it was so spicy i couldn't eat it. My sister ordered orange chicken and it was way too sweet. Our egg rolls were almost burned and hard. The fried rice was to dry to eat. Needless to say that will be our last trip to that place!!!!!!!!
The best shrimp fried rice and crab rangoons
Jack's by the Tracks
Our waitress provided excellent service. However, the atmosphere shifted after the morning bartender departed, who had been outstanding. Notably, a female employee who arrived spoke to every patron except us, the only two minorities present. I expressed gratitude to the bartender, but he failed to acknowledge it. Although the food is pricey, its quality justifies the cost, and I appreciate paying more for exceptional cuisine and a welcoming environment.
Stopped in here today and ordered fish and seared duck tacos, as well as some sushi to go. The fish tacos were the best I've ever had, and the duck tacos were even better. Haven't tried the sushi yet. Highly recommended!
Tay's BBQ
These smoked wings are something else!! Every time I'm in the area, I have to stop by and get some. Someone just inquired for me to try the white sauce and the red sauce mixed together on top of the wings. I must say that the combination is quite the treat. I would recommend stopping by to try the cheese grits along with the wings.
You can't go wrong with the hot wings brisket and boneless thighs, but the ribs are good too, and the sauce is fantastic! I almost forgot to take photos...lol! Don't be set off by them being in a convenient store....they got this right!
Tugus Restaurant
Family-owned neighborhood spot for almost 30 years. Easy to miss it from the outside but never judge a book by its cover. Open for dinner on Friday & Saturday nights, otherwise lunch is daily service. Fabulous griddle burger. Terrific made from scratch fried seafood, local crab cakes, stuffed crabs are a standout. Good steaks too.
The food was outstanding as was the service. I will recommend to all my friends. The steak poboy was excellent. Can't wait to go again and try the pork chops.
Sakura Express
My first time in this restaurant, I got some food to go. Good choices in the menu for vegetarians. Didn't have to wait too long for my food to be ready. They were generous with the quantity of food and it tasted great as well. I was able to find a seat to sit while the food was getting ready. Found this restaurant through a Google search and would recommend it to anyone.
This restaurant is a hidden gem for great sushi! The atmosphere is exactly what I look for, with quick and friendly service, nice music, and super clean everything. For appetizers we ordered the crab ragoons (omgosh don’t skip out on those), eggdrop soup, and garden salad (the salad dressing is def from scratch). My husband and I split the yoshi roll (top roll), shrimp tempura roll (left), and the volcano roll (right). All of them were absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend the yoshi roll if you’re a spicy tuna fan. Thank you, Sakura’s, we will be back soon!!
Mr. & Mrs. Crab Juicy Seafood & Bar
Very friendly polite staff! Food was served pretty quickly and was better than expected!! Their fried pickles were very good! My new favorite place for Low Country boil!!!!♡1/2 lb meat of choice is more than enough per person... one potato and one corn is more than enough. I ordered two of each and couldn't finish the extra!!
Food was beyond amazing!!! Restaurant had a cool theme. Janay our waitress was very nice and was a busy lady but she was beyond great at what she did! The whole experience was amazing! Thanks 😎 Ps cute cups lol
Golden Corral Buffet & Grill
Everything was perfect, except some of the yeast rolls were a little hard and cold for us. Another person’s yeast rolls were perfect. I love the salad bar and the lemon meringue pie. Several said the fried fish was better than any they had anywhere else. One loved the roast beef and gravy. Our Server, Terry, was excellent and always aims to please. Will Highly recommend!
I guess I'll start this off by saying the Golden Corral sign should be fixed because we passed it up and had to do a u-turn since the light is burnt out in the sign. But I took my kids out for dinner tonight and have to say it was a total waste of $. The food here just isn't good like it use to be in the past. We haven't ate here in awhile, since maybe this time last year to be exact and after tonight definitely won't be back again. For starters, our waiter was just absolutely rude. He would come by and grab our plates but never ONCE asked if we needed refills and when we did ask, he seemed irritated. The plates and bowls are not clean and still had dried up food from not getting cleaned through the dishwasher. Had to put several plates back before getting one that looked clean!!! The mashed potatoes tasted funny. My son said they tasted like what a barn smells like and I took a bite and it legit did. Oh, and when you walk into the bathroom it literally smells as if you are walking into a sewer and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in days. We left worrying about whether or not we would end up with food poisoning. And low and behold my 9 year old has a damn stomach ache this morning and is having to be checked out of school due to being sick to the stomach. The damn health department needs to be called in for this nasty place!!!!!
Siam Thai Cuisine
DELICIOUS!! I have not one complaint at all at. The food was beyond delicious, the service was incredibly friendly, the food arrived hot, fresh and in a timely manner. The decor was very true to its beautiful culture. The atmosphere was great. This was my very first time here and I will definitely be a repeat customer! BEST Thai food hands down!! If you haven’t tried Thai food before, DO IT! It’s delicious!!
I am blown away every time I eat here. The curries are amazing! Their pad thai is incredible as well. The service has always been outstanding.
Half Shell Oyster House
Very fine place to visit! Food and service was great! My waiter Thomas was accommodating and made sure to keep our drinks full! I enjoyed the Mahi Savannah with sweet potato creme brûlée with honey butter for my side! The blackberry margarita was amazing! I ordered two! Overall, I’d come back. We came for a girls dinner with a large group! If you have a large group, come early. We had to wait a little bit but it was worth the wait!
I had the crab and corn bisque and the voodoo shrimp appetizer ✓ My husband had the oyster Poboy, and was disappointed with the amount (lack of) oysters. A couple of beers were also had. And ended with the bananas foster cheesecake to go! It was yummy ! We enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant.
Texas Roadhouse
Everything was pretty good. We enjoyed it except for our steaks. We asked for them to be cooked one medium and one medium well and when we got them back they were both well done so the waitress asked if we wanted to send them back being courteous so we send them back and obviously it pissed the cook off. So when we got them back the next time they were completely raw on the inside. Ask for medium and you got blue so we ended up bringing our food home and cooking it the rest of the way. Needless to say, obviously the cook is a little conceited and had himself an attitude that day. Other than that everything was well good. Even though the one waitress was snickering as she watched us cut open our steaks and they were raw literally an ribs damn near burnt Just glad it wasn't the waitress that was waiting on us. So for $92.04 we had to finish cooking our steaks smh absolutely loved the rolls. Very much enjoyed the rattlesnake bites the potato skins. My wife loved the salad which I don't know anybody that could screw up a salad, but I'm sure it's possible haha macaroni and cheese was undercooked steak had good flavor once when we cooked it ourselves to the consistency we originally ordered. Raspberry tea was good and I really like that steak sauce. I will go back again but just a shame on the most important reason of going there was to get a good steak cooked correctly. Anyways, have a blessed evening! Definitely should have been refunded or some kind of compensation for the visit but got that unwelcome feeling. I guess that's what we get for wanting our steaks cooked as ordered
Texas Roadhouse is always consistent no matter which one you go to. Always great tasting food and who doesn't love those rolls with that butter. Great service today. Ordered the 20 ounce ribeye steak with Chilli and a Ceasars salad which is my always to go to meal when I go to any Texas Roadhouse location. I have tried everything pretty much on the menu since 2006. When I sit down everytime I can't stop eating those rolls with that butter!!
Shrimp Basket
The seafood boil for 1 was wonderful and flavorful! I also ordered the smoked Mahi dip, and it was amazing as well. Amber, Keisha, and Jeremy were wonderful, accommodating, and even entertaining, adding to the atmosphere, making it warm and relaxing. Absolutely wonderful experience every time I visit!
The oysters was great, very fresh. Especially the horseradish and cocktail sauce and the special hot sauce collaborated well. The low country boil was great also. The soup was delicious for Korean too. But the composition was a bit simple. It would have been batter if there had been some clams or crayfish.
