Palace Buffet

2228reviews

This was my first visit to the palace buffet, and it was simply amazing, and the selection was second to none. With so many food choices and deserts, it is well worth the price. 😋 I definitely recommend this to anyone in town visiting the Gulf Coast,

This was the first time I have ever been here. And let me tell you something, it will definitely not disappoint you. If so, you just don't like to eat great food. I've been to a lot of different places all over the United States and this place is over the top! The staff folks are amazing just like the food. Dang nere anything you want to eat All in one place for a price you can afford. If you are picky, this is the best place to go. They definitely done it right here. My wife and I will definitely be going back many more times and look forward to it. You just can't go wrong. I wouldn't change a thing. Absolutely one of our favorites.

Empanola Ocean Springs

The impossible and yellow curry are both vegan and DELICIOUS. They are juicy and flavorful. I ate them at the same time and combined the flavors which was super good also. Service was great. They were friendly. They also offer dairy free options for coffees ($1 upcharge which is lame). But definitely recommend!!

Best gumbo on the MS Gulf Coast, hands down. REAL gumbo, with chicken and sausage, the correct way. Not that weird seafood gumbo that’s everywhere here. Love this place. A bit pricey, so can’t go as often as I’d like. But it’s good and different than other places, so worth it to go when we can. Cute shop, haven’t had everything here so can’t speak on it all, but the empanadas and gumbo/soups are great. Definitely give it a try.

White Pillars Restaurant and Lounge

I had to take a moment or two to let everyone know about this amazing restaurant on the coast! We have eaten there a number of times and loved the food, atmosphere and entire experience. But a few months ago, we held my daughter’s baby shower there. It was an especially important thing for her because she had wanted a baby for so long and had experienced several heartbreaking miscarriages due to a blood clotting factor she didn’t know she had until she went to a high-risk OB who quickly discovered it and treated her for that resulting in a successful pregnancy. We were over the moon, and wanted this to be extra special. The owners and staff could not have made it more so! They reserved a beautiful room to accommodate our large number of guests and Chef Sumrall created a special menu, with several options that included something for every palate, including a vegetarian option, and amazing dessert. The waiters and waitresses were extremely attentive and took time to explain the menu and ask for any special needs or allergies, then took a moment with each of those folks to be sure their order was just right. The food was divine, and my daughter was just ecstatic with the day. I know she will always remember it as one of the most special moments about this time of her life. I am so thankful to everyone who was part of making it a wonderful beautiful day for her. We had 34 guests and every single one enjoyed their experience and we stayed for what seemed like hours, but were never rushed or hurried. If you’re looking for something extra special, or if you just want a wonderful, delicious dining experience, make a reservation and go to the White Pillars. There is no place on the coast that offers this level of elegance and charm while still giving you the feeling that you are the most important table in the restaurant. It’s beautiful, classic and the food is so delicious. Nothing comes close!

This was the best meal I have had in years! Seriously! The service was outstanding & luxurious. The food was better than we could have imagined. From the complimentary bread to the desserts to end the night, it was 10/10. If you are looking for a nice restaurant with amazing food, you need to come here!

Aunt Jenny's Catfish Restaurant

Great atmosphere. Service was slow at first but once they took our drink orders everything else was quick. Catfish was very thin and had a lot of breading. The shrimp was better. Prices were kind of steep. Overall not sure if I will go back.

The view is absolutely stunning. Service is superb. Food is amazing. The restaurant is old charm at its finest. Aunt Jenny’s is nothing short of amazing comfort food. Delicious!

The Crawfish House

We are here visiting from Texas. I wanted crawfish so I googled & found this place. Reviews were good so we were excited. First off the water did not taste right. Restaurant was clean, bathroom clean. We got a platter with craw fish, shrimp, 2 corns, 2 sausages, & 1 small potato. Shrimp still had shell on them & the vein in some, disgusting. The crawfish was nothing to get excited about. No meat. I wish we would have went somewhere else. We left this place still hungry. As soon as we got back to the hotel I was in the bathroom if you know what I mean!!! The waitress was the best part of this place.

This place was the highlight of our stay in MS! Our waiter was Gavin and his every recommendation was an absolute delight! The food was delicious and Gavin's service was amazing! Really cool vibe where we could just watch a game and sip some beers while enjoying the outdoors. We will definitely be back to support this Christian based establishment.

Wasabi - Japanese Cuisine

I'm obsessed had the lunch special 2 rolls crunch n shrimp tempura w egg drop soup. I think that's the best egg drop soup I've ever had and I eaten it everywhere. I highly recommend and it is a decent price. Like 2 to 3 meals for me. Service is so great smiling faces every time and I always order a large side of wasabi paste and they never forget. Thanks so much for all u do.

The food was absolutely delicious, the service was superior, the lighting perfect, the music in the back ground created a nice atmosphere. Ocean Springs has a real gem with this restaurant. This is one of the best food experiences the Mississippi Gulf Coast has to offer!

Chef Scott's Express Sushi & Asian Fusion

I'm not sure about the other rolls, but the one I had was the deep sea shell roll, which used to be called the wasabi shell roll, and the calamari. The roll was just as I remember it, and the calamari is the best around here, hands down. I've tried to find it when they were closed; trust me, you cannot find it anywhere else but at Chef Scott's. Just know that it is an express place, so it's not designed to be a dine-in restaurant. That's not the experience you will get. Also, the food is served on paper plates and it's BYOB, so just be aware that it is not a fancy dining experience. But the food is absolutely amazing and worth the experience.

Chef Scott is the real deal Sushi Chef. His fish is fresh and always delicious. Wish there were more fish selections, but we are in a small town place. His sweet and sour shrimp plate is perfect. It comes with a large salad with a yummy ginger dressing, steamed rice, and corn. Service is fast, and all the team members are so friendly and helpful. Mostly take out, but there are a few small tables to eat in.

Infinity Buffet

Bruh. Them big crab legs lookedt Gud but they were rubbery, the legs wasn't crunchy like.. um the meat was alot per mouth full but it was a hard chewy texture. Legs posed to be cooked at least 6 mins tops 4 on stretch 3 and a half mins to soak the juice in but it was awesome anyway... still gets 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me! from me.

We went here for the lunch buffet. I added the option for crab which was $42 with military discount. The smell of cigarette smoke while waiting in line was almost overwhelming and people were even standing in line while smoking. We were shown our table after maybe a five minute wait. The chair was broken and there was butter smeared on the table from the previous patrons. This was somewhat of a typical buffet with many items cold or overcooked. Lobster was so overcooked it was like chewing on rubber. Crab legs were hot and pretty good. Overall, we wouldn’t go here again; people were overwhelming and glutinous. The smell of the crab, cigarette smoke, and loud patrons was a big turn off for us. Okay if you want to get your moneys worth for the crab but much better places to eat at in this area.

Phoenicia Gourmet Restaurant

We finally got to eat here and it was amazing! They always have people waiting outside to get in and now we know why. Crab cakes were the best! Greek salad was amazing. I had red snapper with lump crab meat, it was great. My wife had chicken shawarma, she loved it. Chicken was so tender. Highly recommend

The steak fajitas were phenomenal. One of the best meals I have ever had. Good value even though it is on the higher end cost-wise. The pitas and hummus that they bring out is delicious as well. The service was great and the atmosphere was awesome.

China Garden Express

I was a little skeptical ordering at first because I saw mixed reviews online but I was pretty satisfied. I ordered the shrimp Pho with the pork and shrimp eggrolls and it was really good. I let my nephew try the pho and it was his first time and he thoroughly enjoyed it. The eggrolls were my favorite and the dipping sauce it comes with was even better. The pho was pretty average nothing spectacular but still good. I'd order from here again.

After reading the reviews and realizing several of the negative ones were old, and that's it's come under new management since then - I decided to give this place a shot. It's just too conveniently located to me not to give it a try. I ordered the Combination Singapore Noodles and Crab Rangoons over the phone to go. Placing the order was easy and I was told it would be about 10 minutes. When I got there, my food was ready, I paid (they do a military discount) and I headed home. The food was fresh and hot! The crab rangoons were fried nicely and stuffed really well. The Singapore Noodles had a ton of chicken, shrimp and beef - they definitely didn't skimp on the protein. It also had an excellent level of spice and wasn't greasy like some places. I've only tried these two dishes, but they were good enough to make me willing to order from here again.

Tiantian Super Buffet

It was like a scene taken from a Christmas story. Nowhere to go on the holiday. But this little Chinese buffet did not disappoint. They even had the fancy sushi rolls. My fave was the stuffed crab cakes.

Pretty good buffet for 11.99 all you can eat. The meats were good although some of the choices were a bit stale and hard to eat. I highly recommend the coconut shrimp; it was super creamy and delicious! The service was good and they didn't bother us that much besides providing more water and such. you get a variety of choices to eat and then to top it off, they have desserts! Definitely worth the money.

Macau Kitchen

Ive been wanting to try it for a while. There was a long wait during this stay. I ordered the szechuan beef, and would not order the dish again. It was flavored well, but heavily imbalanced for a $21 dish. It was 85% vegetables to 15% beef. I had to dig through so much celery and the occasional bell pepper to find any beef. I've had better proportions at a better price.

Came here with friends and family. It’s nothing fancy. Quick service. Quick food. Quality is good but the price is a little much. I’m only giving this place a 4 star. Don’t get me wrong, the food is good but it’s still something missing. But I’m definitely be coming back. They also give you loads of meat which is a plus.
