CHINA WOK
I've eaten at many Chinese restaurants in the Twin Cities, and I am so glad that we've got the best one in our back yard. The food tastes fresh and delicious, the staff is friendly and efficient. If I could pump their black pepper chicken directly into my veins, I would.
The place is always clean and service is efficient. Have ordered a multitude of items from the menu, and gotta say, this place has some of the most delicious dishes, never disappointed... plus you can add your own amount condiments and they always send you off with a handful of tasty candies! 😁
Egg Roll King
Well I went out on a drive. A long needed dinner with my son. I was hoping for the awesome food that egg roll king had 20 years ago. Wow this place has changed. Now it doesn't look so good on the outside. Which is fine. But it seems like they never clean the handles for the doors. Anyway the entree was good but the fried rice was horrible unfit for my son or I to eat. That says something. Then I ordered a house special noodles. Looks good but smells like burned tobacco. They seem to taste a little okay not good tho. So if you're looking for a good place to eat I would highly suggest elsewhere.
I eat this when ever I can. Most of the time I just do an appetizer lunch. I love the chicken skewers. It was always my favorite part of the buffet experience. Theirs are giant. I can only eat 2 and I'm pretty full. I have had the sesame and general tzao chicken. I haven't had anything I don't like. Sorry no pictures. The food doesn't last long enough for me
Panda Express
I strongly wouldn’t go to this place no more i order mushroom chicken and sweet fire chicken while I was eating I found a piece of metal in my mushroom chicken lucky I didn’t eat it the people that make that food should be more careful tbh wouldn’t go there again and everything look like it’s been sitting there for hours to
Just want to shout out LU here at the west st paul panda express. I go there very often and he has made my experience great numerous times. I went in there easter morning and he was there, happy to greet me and others that came in. Not to mention, ive been to quite a few panda express’s in the twin cities, and ive always had the best experience here. I’d like to add 2 more people aswell, Ahmad and Zong. Any questions I’ve had their happy to answer. Its the same situation with LU, all 3 Of these guys bring a great energy and it seems like a great overall team.

Fantastic!! Sports were playing on the TV! I put this experience up there with any sports bar. As you can see, lonely me eating alone! Any Sharmutas want to join next time??😆
Came here for my lunch break a few weeks ago, there was a very kind lady working who helped me. Had a smile on her face and very welcoming. Always have the best cream cheese puffs!!! It’s a must every time.
Golden Wok
My first time trying this restaurant. I was looking for some Chinese comfort food and this place delivered. Food was fresh and hot and delicious! Staff were friendly and efficient. Their cream cheese wontons are phenomenal. The lunch portions are huge!
A good take out place. Appeared to be a mom/pop shop - with their little daughter drawing at a table off to the side. Always happy to support local. Orange chicken is my go to at any restaurant. Golden Wok has good orange chicken and it even comes with some Broccoli too! They said it would take 10 minutes and it was 10 on the dot. I got it with all white meat for +$1 and it is worth the upgrade. Thank you!
Super Wok
The food would be a 5 If I hadn’t found steel wool in it on two separate occasions, I called the first time to inform them of the issue hoping they would clean their dishes better going forward. It was evident they didn’t fix this issue when I chomped on a nice long piece of steel in my lo mein again. Searched around in the rest of it and found another piece as well. Must not think this is a big deal.
Good was fast and steaming hot! Full of flavor and the service was very friendly. Great dinner specials too!
Hong Kong Restaurant
My first time eating, Ordered via UberEats. Everything was packaged perfectly, good portions, good taste. Boba cups are super cute, look reusable if you handwash. Strawberry green tea is fantastic. Good chewy boba pearls. Would order again!
I know the reviews seem to be hit or miss but for me and my experience it was good. The fried scallops were good and the tofu was delicious. Would definitely go back.
Fortune Cookie Chinese Restaurant
I decided to try this restaurant as the prices are half of surrounding similar restaurants.. and I’m sure glad I did! I ordered chicken lo mein, beef and broccoli and cream cheese wontons. Everything was hot and fresh and made within 10 minutes! Definitely will come back here. :)
This has been our favorite spot for a year or so now. Great food & quick service!!!! Here’s what we order: - Beef & snow peas with fried rice - chicken lo mein
Super World Buffet
Absolutely gorgeous place! I have been there many times! All you can eat! Variety of food is the best part! Food is always warm. The staff is super nice and friendly! Compared to other buffets, this one has the best price with this quality! Super recommend it to everyone!
Cold food. Lady Said $12.99 per person when we arrived at 3pm and specifically asked. Then charged us 18.99 per person when we left at 4:09. Waitress Bitched for more Money. $ 28.09 was the total. Total Rip Off!!! Will not be back. Do not eat here! They only have Pepsi. Water was warm .
Laiwah Chinese restaurant
Only 2 tables, but that's OK, cause nobody there. My happy family was sad and like brown water. Very salty, very chewy. Ordered fried rice, but they said I can't have it. I said it's ok, $1 extra. I got white rice. I need water quick!
I ordered chicken lomein, wonton soup and egg rolls. I was shocked when I went to pick it up and it was $31.00! The "lomein" was angel hair pasta. The soup tasted like dirty water and was $12.00! And the egg rolls were all crunch and not much filling. I will never order from here again. East China was closed today so I tried this place. I'll stay with East China...they are reasonably priced and great food. Laiwah was just awful.

The food was good. We did notice the women helping us was picking through the Oster wings and picking out the smaller wings. The Fircraker Shrimp isn't spicy even though the name implies it will be.
I normally really like Leeann chins. This one sucks. The workers are very stingy on portion for one, even when it’s dead. They will leave food out for a long time before tossing it. Old guy has always asked for me a drink or an app as an add on but has never asked a single other question once. They are also sloppy on food safety. Watched him accidentally put his thumb about a week ago in someone’s food and he moved someone’s plate back and forth from the line to add something on. No gloves or nothing and didn’t even notice it, customer took an awkward pause and obviously saw it, and the worker didn’t even acknowledge it. The girl in the front also very tight on portions when that specific manager is around it’s night and day. There is obviously a push for margin and a lack of care for other aspects and I’m sorry but it really shows. I come here occasionally since moving to Apple Valley and the issues are consistent it has been over many visits. Well good job you made enough margin on me I won’t be back. There is a lot of competition around give the business to someone else!
Panda Express
Restaurant was clean, however as someone from out of town looking forward to eating there (we don’t have one in Rochester, MN) I frequent the twin cities for business. I was very disappointed. The honey walnut shrimp (always my fave) tasted as if it had been cooked in an unrinsed pan of orange chicken (the sauce was pretty bad), the orange chicken and sesame chicken were so spicy they were inedible for me and my 6yr old. When ordering the honey walnut shrimp I was informed on the line that it would be $7 extra for a side container of it. Okay no big deal I was really looking forward to it! Get to the register and was told it was actually $10, still money wasn’t an issue. But it just tasted like disappointment. I was also informed that the misquoted price of $7 was from a manager! Probably won’t be revisiting here.
Atmosphere isn't bad, but it isn't great. It's sufficient. Nobody makes better orange chicken. Love the option to substitute starch (rice or noodles) with super greens
