Ordered two honey walnut shrimp Bowls one bowl is only half full after up charging ordered three two piece veggie wraps which should have came up to six bucks she basically forced me to order a medium entree which is only six veggie rolls which should obviously be six bucks but she charged me $8.70 one of my bowls is literally half the size of the other one like come on man now what am I supposed to do waste my time to go back up there? I won't be going back

Drive thru very simple. They messed up. I had to go back through the drive through to have the order remade. They had a big time attitude. Food taste horrible and wasn’t even room temperature! I really would recommend this place of business.they refused too take accountability!

Went here with a group on Christmas Day. Was really worried based on many reviews here. Am happy to say that everything was excellent. I ordered General Tsos chicken. The chicken was fresh, tender, crispy, and the sauce tasted great. The fried rice, egg roll, and plum sauce were great too. Service was also excellent, and one of the (I think managers) offered to take a photo of our group. The restaurant itself felt very clean. The restroom did feel quite dirty, so I do wish that had been cleaner. An otherwise excellent experience. Reasonably priced, too.

This place is a little out of the way but we were craving Lou Si Fen (authentic Chinese specialty noodle soup), and they did not disappoint! The broth was packed with flavors, toppings were good and noodles were cooked to perfection. I added a special fried egg to my soup and so glad that I did! I highly recommend adding their special fried egg to noodle soups as it soaks up the broth and adds another layer of texture. My husband got the beef brisket noodle soup and also enjoyed it. Staffs were friendly and very efficient. Wish I remembered to take a picture of the food before we ate everything. Definitely will return for the Luo Si Fen and try other Chinese noodle dishes as well!

My sesame chicken taste like it was over done, my wife's sweet and sour chicken was hard as a rock and taste burnt ,the sweet and sour sauce taste like pure vinegar. When my wife called to tell them the rude lady at China wok told her she was wrong and hung up on my wife. We will never go there again . I hope this helps people out don't waste your money

First time trying, chicken was ok but the sauce could be better! Where's the pineapple, carrots for the sweet and sour chicken?? Rice was dried out. Rolls were old and hard. It was ok, won't be back.

The almond chicken and wonton soup were actually very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were amazing. The establishment itself is a bit out dated and beat down. The service was okay at best the employees looked like they were ready to leave for the night. Solid Chinese spot though.

This is the worst place to get oriental food. I've lived from California to Pennsylvania and this is by far the worst place. The food has no taste, the vegetables are hard as rocks, and the noddles are worse them a Ramen packet. The service was horrible and the owner tried to add a gratuity charge on my bill like this was a high class restaurant. The place's atmosphere is not even mediocre, and the owner is a very rude person... DO NOT GO HERE... Detroit has far better places.

Super easy to order online. Delivery arrived before quoted with bag sealed, warm food, soy sauce & a fork. I opted for the Almond Boneless Chicken combination. I’ll break the review up into the 3 sections & make sure none of the food touches ;) The egg roll was tasty, dipping sauce was sticky & delicious. Glad it came with the combo, wouldn’t order it a la cart. The fried rice. I didn’t come up with the name, it just said that it came with fried rice. I’m not sure if it was a misprint, if it was a miscommunication on the menu, if they ran out? I was served a heaping scoop of freshly cooked rice with soy sauce in it. Was it good? Yeah. Just not what I was expecting. The ABC… thick fried chicken, chopped up & served over a bed of lettuce with a sprinkle of sliced almonds. This dish is a glorified chopped chicken nugget if the gravy, served on the side falls short. The gravy was reminiscent of a place I ate at for a few decades so I may be partial but it worked for me. My only complaint was the chicken could have used a little more salt. That may sound odd when some carry out can get a little salty, but that’s just my personal opinion. Lots of places in the area to choose from, these reviews remind myself of what I’ve had & hopefully help you decide whether or not to order yourself. Either way I hope you enjoy your dinner as much as I did mine.

I ordered a Chicken Lo Mein, Wanton Soup, and spring rolls. I normal go to Gim Ling down the street but they were closed, so decided to try China Moon for the first time. Food was so terrible i only could eat a couple bites before throwing it in the garbage total waste of money. The chicken was rubbery and and the soup was very bland unlike anything i every had before.

This place has been around as long as I've been alive. It's never changed. From the gold foil wallpaper to the unique ceiling lights and don't forget the rotary payphone still hanging on the wall! Food is always exactly what you expect from quality American Chinese food. They do offer dine in service and carryout as well as delivery thru door dash. Don't forget to add the dinner rolls! Highly recommend.

It was an exceptional experience! The menu offers a fantastic variety of authentic Chinese dishes, and everything we ordered was bursting with flavor. The crispy spring rolls were a delightful starter, and the fried rice was a perfect complement to our meal. Overall, I highly recommend Imperial Palace for anyone craving delicious Chinese cuisine. I can’t wait to return and try more dishes!

I've had a craving for Chinese food so I decided to try this place on DoorDash. Overall yummy I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce, pepper steak, fried rice, veggie lo mein, fried rice, and hot and sour soup. The pepper steak is awesome. Same with the lo mein. The sauce for the shrimp was too watery in my opinion, but the shrimp was plump, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The fried rice was okay. The hot and sour soup wasn’t spicy at all for me, but it’s good. I still have plenty of leftovers, for $35 the portions are nice and I have about 2 meals left. I’ll have to try this place again and I wanna try the general tso chicken 👀 cuz ya girl loves general tso

Food was so incredibly bad we threw it away. Spring rolls had literally no filling, crab Rangoon next to none. Food was tasteless. Sewage odor in the restaurant grossed me out when I picked it up. More expensive than our usual spot. Will not return.

I ordered orange chicken, pork fried rice and fried wontons for take out. I meant fried dumplings! Ugh! (I was absolutely exhausted and jet-lagged.) But the lady was super sweet about it and said since I was still there she could change it for me. I really appreciated that, but then she let me keep the wontons, too! That was good because I don't think I've ever had them. That gave me a chance to try them (I'm not a fan. They were super greasy and not much meat.) The orange chicken was delicious! It was hot, tender, flavorful and plentiful! The pork fried rice ended a months-long craving. It was so good! The dumplings were good but I didn't love the sauce. I feel like it's different when you dine in. I'm not sure. Either way, I still ate them. The value is also amazing! All of that food was only about $21 and I had several meals from it.

Food was very good and the staff was friendly and helpful. I tried a little bit of everything at the buffet and was not disappointed. The salmon tasted fresh and not overly fishy, the shrimp was good as well. Loved the hot and sour soup. Sweet and sour chicken was crispy but not dried out. The chili crunch/oil is very spicy!! 🥵🔥 Great for clearing out your sinuses tho!! 😅 Lots of desserts to choose from but the bananas in the sauce and the crispy sugar dumpling things are my favorite! Definitely would recommend!

All around disappointed. Took 30 mins longer then expected and told! And my beef and broccoli had NO BEEF bit 2 SLICES! The flavor wasn't there ither. Although they did offer a refund, I don't wanna go back out. Not worth my time. And won't be going back. And ALOT Of celery in general Tsoz ?!?! Didn't know that was a thing! ONLY CASH! WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW. they also didn't ask my name for take out, and didn't tell me a total.

The people were very friendly and helpful. The food was decent - not great and not bad. A little and miss for me. Orange tofu was good. Szechuan tofu was a bit too salty, but flavorful.

No longer offer table service, to go or eat to go order at the table only. Fairly extensive new menu with updated prices and lots of options for you to pick from. Place has a dated interior (as so much of SoHa is) however the prices are pretty low for the area and the food is plentiful as well as very tasty. Ordered a few items to try them out and sample their skills and recipes. The teriyaki beef sticks is a solid 4 outta 5 The orange chicken was so hot and very tasty I burned my mouth shoveling it in lol The hot and sour soup was just meh, I think they messed up the recipe on this one cause it tastes nothing like any of the 1000s of H&S soups I've tried through my travels - tasted like a lemon vegetable soup or something 🤷 was not hot nor sour. Will definitely return whenever I'm back in the SoHa area I'm a critic when it comes to places (I average 2 stars on google) so I can't figure out why others have such an issue with this place. Definitely worth a stop in for the family and a meal on the road.

My favorite Chinese in a 100 mile radius. I live in Battle Creek. Combination Rice or Empresses Shrimp is my favorites.

My recent experience at the China Buffet was nothing short of disappointing and concerning on multiple fronts. Upon entering the restaurant, I was met with empty buffet trays and a severely limited selection of food items, none of which looked appetizing or fresh. The quality of the food was subpar, leaving much to be desired in terms of taste and presentation. However, what truly alarmed me was the blatant disregard for sanitation practices observed throughout my visit. As I watched the staff members handle the food and salad bar without wearing gloves, I couldn't help but feel uneasy about the cleanliness of the establishment. The sight of them wiping down the surfaces with what appeared to be dirty rags from the kitchen only compounded my concerns. It was clear that basic hygiene standards were not being met, posing a serious risk to the health and safety of patrons. Overall, my experience at the China Buffet was marred by both the lackluster food quality and the alarming lapses in sanitation. It's deeply concerning to witness such negligence in a restaurant setting, and I would hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone. Management must take immediate action to address these issues and prioritize the health and well-being of their customers. Until significant improvements are made, dining at the China Buffet remains a risk not worth taking.

Called an order in; they didn't start it by the time it was supposed to be read (system didn't print ticket?) Returned home to find the order was missing half of its stuff. To their credit- the chicken portion was generous. Wild stuff for assembly line food.

Food was mediocre at best, not great at worst. Pricing is good, but other than that the pudding is meh, but chicken was pretty good overall.

Suffers from the same downfalls of many Chinese buffets...some less than hot food choices, bordering on cold. Waiting till the pan is down to last cold yet overcooked pice of chicken (and others), or the very last piece of sushi, before refilling, and I only saw the host, and not a very personable one, one time to fill the drinks, while the plates piled up on the end of the table. I had tried this place last year with the same results and said I'd never go back. But a friend said it was better so I tried again...nope. sadly won't be back.
