I ordered the beef broccoli with white rice. It didn't take long for my order to be ready. I picked it up, took it home, and didn't eat it right away; however, it was still hot when I did. It was just as I ordered (with no carrots!). There was plenty of beef, broccoli, and rice. It was very filling and, oh, so good!

Stopped by for lunch, they have excellent lunch specials. Lots of options to choose, (I got the orange chicken, delicious) meals come with friend rice and a rangoon. I paid $11 for a ton of food which all tasted great. The staff is friendly, the place is a little old but perfectly fine, it's even sort of charming. There's enough seating for 12ish people but we got there a little after 11 and had the place to ourselves. We will be back, do yourself a favor and get some lunch here.

Fine food. Fine service. Great value. You get a good portion for a good price. Some dishes tasted older and if they’d been left out for a bit. Some tasted fresher and fine. Their lo mein was surprisingly really good. Cooked perfectly. Overall: 7.9/10

Paid $60.00 on DoorDash and received a couple of small lunch containers. As soon as we took a bite it tasted like it was refrigerated for a week and popped back into a microwave to send to us. Definitely not risking food poisoning. Who would have thought that a restaurant in a failing mall wouldn’t throw out their old food. Wish I knew that it was mall food from the beginning. Very disappointed.

Food was delicious! Service was excellent. One of the best experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. My group ordered the Pho, pad thia, pot stickers, and sweet and sour chicken. Highly recommend

I have now been here 2 times this month because the food is so good! I tried the Hot and Sour Soup last night and it was amazing and delicious! Potstickers are amazing! Staff is always pleasant kind and helpful 😎

Food taste was good. Quick serving. You can try. Chicken curry: they give less chicken but too much onion and other staffs

Best Chinese restaurant in the Holland area. Owner is super sweet. I have always only ordered food to go as not much seating and I have actually never seen anyone eating inside. My son loves their General Tso chicken. I personally love their Wonton soup.

Our family just ordered takeout. Wow we were very impressed! Crab Rangoon was amazing. Chicken Fried Rice, General Tso’s Chicken, and Garlic Chicken was delicious! Our kids are picky and they even loved it. Very friendly service as well! I highly recommend this Chinese place!

I've never been as impressed with a Chinese food place as I have here. We go for lunch with our grandmother every few weeks and this is always are favorite place. Since coming i haven't been disappointed by anything. Our waitress has been a 10/10 every time as well, even helping my grandma get her leftovers put away. Portion sizes are also a 10/10. Always have some leftovers. If you're in Holland this is THE China Inn.

We had a great lunch buffet at the Shanghai Grill (formerly Grand King Buffet). We were very thankful for the multi-tiered prices for the various age ranges of our children. The Mongolian Grill was part of the buffet and a welcome component of our meal for several of us in the group. Thanks for a great dining experience and God bless you and your families. Note, we did not try the Hot-Pot meals, and the price was about double the regular buffet for the Hot-Pot table section of the restaurant.

We ordered food here to go two days in a row and it didn’t disappoint. It was fresh and it was fast to pick it up. I guess the fact that they are a buffet did help. If I’m ever back in Holland Michigan I’ll definitely stop by and eat there again. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Worth a visit for sure ☺️

Honestly, I'd avoid at all costs. No meat! And I'm no Karen - there was literally no meat - it was all fried breading. It's not a value or worthwhile at all. I ordered the General Tso combination plate and while there was a large amount of good, it was ALL BREADING.... THERE WAS LITERALLY NO CHICKEN AT ALL. IT WAS ALSO SOGGY AND OLD. The noodles were fine but the rice was a little burned, but there is no substance to the main entree. I really wish I had gone somewhere else. My photos can show how thin the chicken is - which is nothing but breading.

I dropped by for lunch and ordered the pho noodle soup. The place itself is pretty bare bones, and it’s in a gas station, but I can’t fault the food. The pho tasted great, and the meat was very tender. All of the sides added to the flavor, and there was just the right amount of herbal and spicy notes. The price was higher than I expected, but pretty standard for pho these days (about $14). Overall, I’m glad to find a place to order pho on this side of Holland, and I’ll have to try their other options at some point.

It was late and China Kitchen was one of the only places in the area open that served Chinese food, so I thought I’d give it a try. Upon entering, it was apparent that appearance and atmosphere was not the top priority of the restaurant, but it wasn’t super dirty or anything so I went ahead and ordered. The staff seemed friendly but I was surprised when they told me that they did not accept credit cards. The food was ready pretty quickly and was still reasonably hot when I arrived home with it. I tried the General Tso chicken with fried rice and was not overly disappointed or blown away. The egg roll was ok but I would skip the crab rangoons, they just had an odd texture and taste. At the end of the day, China Kitchen is so-so but not nearly as good as other Chinese restaurants in the area such as Shanghai or China Inn on the north side. Given the price vs the quality, I’m not sure that I will return. If you do decide to try China Kitchen, make sure to bring cash.

Found a worm a k a larva bug in my rice. Didn't want to give a refund but wanted to give me more bugs to eat.im good and this is a warning ⚠️ stat away from this business. They're selling bugs n the food and the food is old.

Called in by phone to place an order. Employee was patient and we worked together to understand one another over the phone, despite bad connection and their accent. The food was ready in 15 minutes. We were pleased with portion sizes- two dinner combos lasted us five portions (adult m and f, may be less if you eat more per meal). The chicken was perfectly crispy and the egg roll was delicious. I waited a few days to review to report on whether or not the food made us sick, as this is a frequent problem we’ve had with some Asian food places. We did not experience any problems from the food here. Will definitely choose this place when we want to satisfy our craving for a Chinese meal.

Amazing staff and great food. Lo mein is the best ive had in a long time. Highly recommend

Food was ok. Didn’t look anything like any other food we have had before. Tasted ok but not my personal favorite.

Made a review a while ago, wasn't happy with my experience However I got orange chicken recently and shrimp rice within the past few weeks, and it was amazing! The quality is significantly better than in the past. Very satisfied with service and food 😊

When you first walk in, the atmosphere isn’t the most appealing, but The food and service was outstanding. Excellent Cantonese food, we really enjoyed the garlic chicken and the curry chicken. They also had pad Thai on the menu, though we will have to try that at a future visit. It is almost unheard of to get this quality of food for the price. We will definitely return, though probably get carry out. They do a pretty brisk carry out business.

The general Tso’s is pure sugar sauce, the egg rolls are about the size of your thumb and are nearly $3 each. Cost too much for the amount and quality of food given. The staff is great. The food is not anymore. Bummer

This used to be the best around, but is mediocre at Best. Chicken very over cooked, no seasoning or flavor to the fried rice Dumplings used to be made with wonton , now has heavy batter. Plum table sauce too vinegary! Very disappointed in the quality the past few times we ordered from there! Get back to the pride in the food you make because this has been bad for quite some time! Probably won’t be back.

We have had eaten their good a few times a year in the past 6 years hoping each time maybe it would be different and find a good dish and ordered something that we didn't eat before. At first a few dishes were so-so and missing a lot of ingredients that other restaurants would use. I have eaten that many Chinese restaurants in my life and many different states. this is one of the worst Chineese restaurants ever. Tonight we tried sweet and sour pork and sweet and sour chicken. Hoping they improve from the almond chicken dish and broccoli beef we ordered a month ago. The rice is always Bland it's not fried it's just a brown rice. The chicken they use is what they call Woody chicken and this is a disease of the chicken itself that is in the breast. Just look it up Woody Chicken on google. And the store you can get it also by accident because it's really thick and striated meet muscle very tough and chewy. Doesn't taste good. In the store when you buy chicken you cannot see that it's woodiness necessarily always. The top of the breast will be a little whiter and harder in the package. If you could see underneath the chicken breast before your buy it, you would notice that it has striations like beef roast does when cooked. They get the very low quality and chicken when it's Woody because it's cheaper their sauces are nasty no taste. I think the sweet and sour sauce for the chicken was light corn syrup with little tiny bit of vinegar and water it was gross. We will never eat there again we are done. They have never opened up their inside of their restaurant since covid that is pretty dirty in there. To be honest after reading all these other reviews in the last six to eight years and current there's more negative about this place I am so surprised they're still open they need to close down and open up a really good Chinese restaurant find someone who knows how to cook Chinese food and not skimp out on the ingredients and the quality also the Wok restaurant in Adrian is also not very good. I tried their coconut shrimp and that wasn't good. I tried other stuff there and it wasn't good either so we don't have good Chinese food down in this area. I guess I have to go to Ann Arbor or Toledo. I make better Chinese food than that. The Oriental sizzle does not even do fried rice correctly there's nothing fried about it nothing in it and this has happened more than once once I suggest we petition to get this restaurant closed. According to these reviews that I read people have been getting slimy food and have been getting sick so maybe we need the Health Department to inspect them unexpectedly.
