Cheng's Asian Bistro
I have found another great Chinese food carry out restaurant. This is about my sixth or seventh time frequenting this restaurant and so far, it hasn’t disappointed me. Their food tastes great. They are also from the same community where the restaurant is located and I recall having a conversation with an employee who said she’s good friends with them and that this family are good people. I always receive a pleasant smile when I come here. I highly recommend this place in you enjoy Chinese cuisine.
Read update. 4 10 25 Best tasting Chinese I've had in a long time sesame chicken sauce is delicious cooked perfectly not dried out and fried to hard! Veggie fried rice was bomb. I'll be returning i hope the egg rolls are good too. 4 12 413 25 Ok so update I liked them so much I went back 2 more times and the food was terrible! You can tell the difference with the weekly staff and the weekend. I literally called to complain about how hard the chicken was fried and stuck together so dry that it was inedible. I literally couldn't chew my chicken and and the breading was stuck together and busted open i uploaded pics and a video. I won't be purchasing on the weekend but I'll see how the establishment responds to me contacting management. Food is way to expensive to not enjoy your meal. I'm sad I was excited 😔 4 14 25 Manager was very professional and understanding.
Peking Chinese Food
The food is excellent, but I always call ahead at least 20 minutes ahead. Delicious chicken and broccoli! Excellent Singapore Rice Noodles. (I LIKE MINE EXTRA SPICY)
The food is decent, my biggest issue is the fact that I paid almost $16 for a double combination plate and got mostly rice. The pepper steak was a little corner with all peppers and onions barely any meat and then they gave me 5 slices of chicken for my almond chicken. I can’t make this up! I won’t be back
Dragon 1 Express
Food is ALWAYS FRESH! Even when they are about to close. Great portions and very good flavor! They are my new go to! Love the sesame chicken combo with the egg noddles
I can completely understand why people pass this place up just looking at it. Atmospherically, it’s a mess. The booths are torn to shreds, there are kids toys just hanging out in the dining area, the lighting sucks, and it looks over all pretty dingy. But DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE!!!! For takeout, you will not find a better place nearby. Ive been going here for ten years now, and they consistently deliver consistently delicious food in the most ridiculous quantities for a very reasonable price. The service is great as well. The people that work here are so friendly, I have never once had a single bad experience. I really wish they would fix it up inside. I think it would really bring in the business since the food delivers every time already!!
Soon Lee
Pretty good, probably would have been better if I ate it fresh but I had a 15 minute drive home. The breading on the sweet n sour chicken was really good, crunchy and the chicken wasn't chewy like it is at some places. Rice was a little mushy but still good and could have also been from sitting in the carryout box closed for so long Also a very good portion for the price.
I wish I could put zero stars. This food is horrible. For it to be Cantonese food, the shrimp were small. There was not enough sauce on my chicken, and the texture was horrible. First and last time for sure, $50 of food in the trash. I also don't like the way this place ells on the inside. It's giving mold and dirt🙄 Lastly, please stop putting the soy sauce package in with the food. That is so disgusting. It's really not worth it at all!
Pekin Pavillion
I’m wondering if this place is under new management or something? I’ve gotten food here many times before and it was always the BEST! However today it was the complete opposite. I ordered the sesame chicken, a dish which was always made perfectly before with nice crispy breading on juicy tender pieces of chicken and good sauce but today the food is awful. The breading on the chicken is soft and soggy, the chicken itself ranges from dry to completely inedible, and the sauce is okay I guess. I may give this place another try but it won’t be anytime soon and sadly if this is the quality they now put out I wont be spending my money here anymore.
Portions are large. Flavor is a bit bland. If you get anything fried it will be a bit dry. The shrimp fried rice is shrimp on top of the rice
Chan's Chinese Restaurant
If I could provide a zero rating, I would, based on the subpar customer service from the young attendant at the front desk. This dish, purportedly Lo mien, was unacceptable, with overcooked broccoli and spaghetti noodles, and an unpleasant odor. If your prices no longer align with those listed online, it would be prudent to update your website. Furthermore, considering the cluttered state of the dining room, it appears that you have sufficient time to attend to this matter. I anticipate the reopening of Wings Chinese restaurant, as I do not intend to patronize this establishment again.
Not sure what food these other reviewers tasted, but our food was gross. We ordered bbq ribs & chicken fried rice. The bbq ribs were burnt, tough, and tasteless. The chicken fried rice was nasty as well. The fried rice was ok, but the fake chicken that had the texture of packaging popcorn ruined it.
China Star
This place is mediocre-at best😿. I've given it a couple chances. There are far better Chinese dive restaurants than this. Expect dry chicken, dry rice, rubbery egg rolls, etc.😥🧐🤔
The greatness of this place and the people working here go hand in hand. I am not one to rate takeout style chinese places as any special over the other ones but this one was really good..prices were great for the weekend where everything else is 15 to 20 dollars especially going by buffet cost at least. I had Shrimp and Lobster sauce and the container came full. There was so much it was overflowing and they placed extra plastic in it to control it. I watched the guy cook and he puts on a show. The wife was nice as well and I saw her talking to customers about their lives more than I have in many takeout spots. There was one other restaurant I seen it where the food was kind of close to this. They make Lobster Sauce here great, will have to come back real soon for the Egg foo young and I hear the Chow mein is awesome. And kudos to the fortunes I just happened to get lucky to receive.
China Chef
Ordered Hot n spicy chicken. No hot spices in it. Chicken fried Rice bland. No egg or scallions. Just chicken and rice! Egg Roll tasted like grease. Won't be back. Very different than when Mike owned the place! I'll travel to Livonia to his new place. Very big difference in food quantity and taste!
Absolutely worst Chinese food I've ever had. Period. Expensive and small portions. Not spicy General Tso chicken at all. Egg rolls tasted dirty from an unfiltered fryer. Horrible rice that was burnt. Sweet and sour chicken was funky looking, smelling, and definitely tasting. Wow folks.
Hong Kong Inn
I've been eating at HKI for over 20 years and it's my favorite Chinese downriver. I've moved 8 miles away from it and will drive the extra distance as it's that good. I call it Chinese comfort food. The owners are awesome as well. Just a shame they don't have dine-in anymore.
Food was terrible the chicken was tough and chewie the egg rolls were not great like they used old greese to fry them. The prices on the website don't match up to the new menu.
New China Inn
I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for authentic Chinese food. You can find quantity and quality in the food. Reasonable prices and the service is really good. The only thing that I'd suggest to people is to place the order in advance since they're just offering take out orders.
The best orange chicken i have ever tried...omg...great service amazing flavors and giant portions check them out...
China Bowl
You would think fulfulling a craving for dine-in Chinese food on an early Sunday afternoon would be easy. Thanks to two places closer to my home being confirmed closed when their Google listing had them as open, China Bowl was the day's winner, and I'm glad it was. The egg rools were hot and crispy; the chicken rice soup was fresh and flavorful; and the pepper steak, General Tso's chicken, vegetables, and fried rice were on point - very tasty, but not overpowering with salt or other flavors. There were two women working their tails off in the front of the house dealing with an increasing number of dine-in customers and carry-out orders. (Bonus points to the little boy running around and passing out fortune cookies and other items. He was cute and generated a few laughs with his infectious smile.) China Bowl is clean and updated, but not overdone with decorations. The only reason I'm giving four stars for atmosphere is because one table was filled with empty carry-out boxes, napkins, etc., and similar items were found on tables in another area of the dining room. Maybe that's necessary because of the size of the room, but, in my opinion, those items should be hidden from diners. I'll definitely be back - and soon!
I visited for the first time & ordered take out from right around the corner for 2 different dishes plus some appetizers. Sesame chicken & sweet & sour shrimp, pretty basic staples. They both were soggy & rubbery with very little flavor. The fried rice was just....soy rice? No real flavor or vegetable in it. The portions were huge & looked good, I will say that. It's a lot of food. Just not good food. The crab rangoons & egg rolls were surprisingly fresh, though. Not greasy, good crisp, & the veggies in the egg roll had a great crunch rather than the mush most have. The pineapple & peppers in the sweet & sour sauce was tasty & unique & how I managed to eat what I did of the dishes. The woman taking my order was very sweet & helpful, maybe dining in would be a different experience. OH OH, I also got hot sour soup & that was actually amazing.
China Fare
Rice was undercooked and we warmed up . Food tasted nasty chicken was straight bread and the rice was undercooked and dry . Wouldn’t refund my food . Highly don’t recommend if you like good Chinese food . Place is a joke edit : HAVE BEEN THROWINH UP ALL MORNING AND SEVERE STOMACH PAINS . . Can’t believe you made me pay for food “because I placed an order I have to pay for it “ and now I have food poisoning. I told you I tasted nasty . And you guys didn’t care . I will be reaching out to my lawyer.
I have been avoiding china fare like the plague because it was so bad in the last 3 years but thought maybe I would give them another chance and flashed back to why I avoided them don’t know what happen to this place but when I moved here in 2003 it use to be good but it seems as time goes by it just is going down hill so I will keep avoiding them again like the plague got a chicken chop sure and only had 4 pieces of chicken in my large order and the sauce was basically colored water no flavor nothing egg rolls aren’t made their either they look and taste like the ones from Gordon actually think Gordon’s is better than theirs so sad especially since they used to be good😒
