Lotus Chinese Cuisine II
Good food but not a good choice if you only get 30min for lunch like me. Only got a general tsos chicken(all you have to do is fry chicken and simmer in sauce for a bit i used to be a cook) and it took over 20min! There were only 3 people waiting on their food.
I don’t know why this place it’s only rated so low. The food is amazing, the restaurant IS EXTREMELY CLEAN, the staff is super fast and nice and the portions are what you pay for. 10/10 🤌🏻
Dragon Buffet
This sushi is so old the color from the seaweed was seeping into the rice. Couldn’t even but it on my plate. This guy brought out fresh spring and egg rolls. And they were soggy. Right from the back and they were terrible. The gravy looked like it had been sitting around all damn day I stirred it up and it looked worse. Probably one of the worse buffets I’ve ever been to. I ended up eating two plates of crab Rangoon‘s because that was the only good thing they had. I’ll never eat here again. The waitress was nice and kind.
I recently visited this place and was extremely disappointed. The food had a terrible taste, and the machine-made drinks were flat and unappealing. I strongly recommend avoiding this spot if you’re looking for quality food and beverages. It’s just not worth it.
Fortune Cookie II
We popped in here and grabbed lunch before we went to the movies. I am picky about my Chinese but this was really good. I ordered the general tso plate and my fiance ordered a triple delight which had beef, chicken and shrimp. It was very good portions. They separate the meat from the rice in the to go container an I liked that. Food was very good and hot. You could see the steam coming off of it when you opened the container. Will definitely eat here again when we are in Charlotte and want chinese. This is a take out situation no where to dine in.
This is what Chinese food is supposed to be, humble, affordable and GOOD! It hits in a way that overpriced pretentious Chinese food cannot. The best part, though, is the man that works there. Not sure if he's the manager or owner but he's so delightful that I will volunteer to pick up the food from now on just to say hi. Atmosphere is on 1000...
Cottage Restaurant
My first time eating here. And I must say I really really love their food. The chicken and rice were so flavorful. My new Chinese spot when I’m at work. Great job! Five Stars!
Ordered beef and broccoli. Beef had a weird awful sour/bitter taste with a pool of oil at the bottom of container. Gave it a couple of bites to be sure and I was. It didn’t taste like anything I’ve ever had before. Honesty worried about getting sick it was so sour tasting
Panda Express
Ordered to go from the ready made food buffet area and was rushed because it was within 20 min of closing. It was already sitting there made. Food is not that good either!
Ive had sushi that was cooked better than the chicken here. If you like your stomach and chicken that doesnt talk to you while youre eating it, dont go here. Plenty of other options in the airport nearby.
Fortune Garden
I order food to-go from here about once a week. It’s always ready when I go to pick up and I’m in and out in no time. Super great crab rangoons 👍🏻
Chicken wings were refried to appear fresh but clearly were old wings. Charged for the extra veggie lo main with hardly any veggies it just looked like standard veggie lo main. Shrimp spring rolls were drenched in grease. Asked for white rice with my chicken and broccoli but got fried rice. Clearly there is a communication gap because they weren't even busy. This was ordered around 2 in the afternoon.
Ichiban Sushi & Hibachi
Stayed at a nearby hotel who recommended this place. Glad they did! I didn’t know it was very close to the airport. Friendly customer service. The food was pretty good. To be fair I did come in the last hour before closing. So the food on the buffet was not the freshest, but from the items I did choose, it was DELICIOUS! I had fried shrimp with the head on, and black pepper chicken. I will come back during business hours to check them out. Lastly, it was $5.99 a pound for no seafood items, and $6.99 a pound if you got seafood. Total was $20 for great portions. Ambiance is family friendly. Restaurant was VERY CLEAN. If in the area, try them and tell me your thoughts.
I actually don't mind this restaurant. Lots of options to choose from with a decent selection of seafood options. Having hibachi/Mongolian grill is very nice and tasted pretty good. The atmosphere is nonchalant, pretty basic. But you get good value for what you pay.
Bamboo Garden Restaurant
Chicken and broccoli was tasty. Came with fried rice. The crab Rangoon was good. The vegetable spring rolls nice and crispy but the filling was flavorless.
This review isn't not about the food simply because I never ordered, the customer service here is so bad it stopped me from ordering. There was no greeting upon entering, but then wants to rush me to order something. I'm very big on customer service and if the customer service isn't right I will eat nor shop at the establishment.
Cottage 2
Although the service of was relatively fast and great, the quality of the food wasn’t there at all. My boyfriend and I ordered dinner combos that came with egg rolls, along with getting dumplings. The dinner combos was just overall not good to the point it made our stomach hurt. I couldn’t even finish it and decided to get something else to eat. The main issue for me was the dumplings and the egg rolls shown in the pictures. There were improperly made to the max. The egg roll barely had any filling, 90% of it was dough. The same can be said about the dumplings. It was so doughy, the dough was very thick but the filling so little. Overall the food was below average. The pricing is pretty good though. But I’ve been to other cheap Chinese restaurants that’s quality of food was way better than this restaurant.
I usually love cottage 2 . I always order the house mei fun. It was different and was not good. I also had less noodles and hardly any meat on my plate. The chicken wings was also burnt. My husband wanted to return everything. It was not worth the drive back. Very disappointed. Now I will have find another restaurant that serves mei fun.
Super Chin Chin
I have been here many times and the food is usually pretty good just the last time I ordered from here recently that the food didn’t taste as good as usual. My rice was cold and chicken was over cooked. Overall the atmosphere is really good and the owners are really nice. I still will come here it was my 1 and only time that the food wasn’t good
I got the Hunan Beef combination plate (came with fried rice and an egg roll). Very good and large portion especially for the price so you’re basically paying $11 for 2 meals. Although I was looking for a lot more spice especially since they marked it as spicy on the menu, there was barely any kick. Although you can only get take out from a window the atmosphere inside is very nice and it’s always a joy to see a family run business.
China Garden
The food was terrible especially the “fried” rice. It was the darkest fried rice I’ve ever seen and had a strange taste. The same goes for the hunan chicken, sauce tasted off as if the oil used was old or the wok not cleaned properly from prior food orders. The egg roll skin was very tough which I’m not sure how you can mess that up. If the cook is their regular they’d better off with someone preparing the food. Needless to say, it was some of the worst tasting I’ve had. To top it off, something in their food gave me diarrhea. Lastly, I found the cashier to be unfriendly and not knowledgeable about their food.
I came all the way across town to get that food and I can say I’m highly disappointed. I almost gave it back while I was there, but I continued to take it with me and eat it. that chicken fried rice did not taste well at all. I’m very disappointed. Not sure what you all used to make it or what type of meat it really is. I’ve had Chinese food from you in the past that I enjoyed that was years ago though prior to the pandemic so I’m not sure where you all are today but that’s not the way to go with the food. . Just a heads up, the quality seriously dropped over the years. From one small business owner to another, I know it’s hard to keep up with things and demand, we go through a lot as small business owners but I expected more from you all. I really hate to even leave this review.
Chin Chin II
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants! The food is always hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We usually go for the mixed vegetables, house fried rice, fried rice with onions, and crispy fried chicken wings – and it never fails to impress. Whether we pick it up or have it delivered, the quality is always on point. The staff is super friendly, and we highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great Chinese food!
Very melo place nice friendly owners ! Definitely will alway order here everyone was nice greeted a food was definitely fresh & great ! Loved my Ragoons !
