I love these guys, ate here all my life. They have great fried chicken too, don't sleep on those. So why is the general tso always soggy now? Bring back the crunch! Everything else is pretty great

It was delivery. $42.60 The food was ok nothing special about it. They didn't include napkins or folks or spoons. How can you forget to include something as basic as that for a delivery??? I also ask for hot sauce, none came with it. Just mustard. Never again. Avoid this place like the plague it is!!!

Hong kong food isn't that good at all they give you beat up. Chicken wings with the feathered on it. They rice is disgusting egg rolls very small. And when you get your food delivered the delivery man. Never give you your change only your bills. If your food come to $10.10 and you give them. A $20 Bill they keep yiur 90 cent. And give you your dollars bills then say where my. Tip before you can give them the tips the service there is terrible. And like i said the food isn't great at all.

I’m giving them a 4 star because their service when is direct and not through a third party is great. I almost always order in person or delivery if I have cash. Ordering through a third party like uber eats is wicked expensive, is not always the best quality because you don’t get to specify what you want or the delivery takes too long. Also the combos are limited on the app, don’t know if it didn’t pop up for me. Also they don’t offer the comp drink over a certain amount ($20) only in person 🤦🏽‍♂️ but they do warn you on the app. Food is good enough and decent prize for the plates

Worst FOOOD EVER if you can even call it food. place is a joke. Ordered dumplings and it tasted like old rubber shoes!! Never again stay lit. In the trash is where it belongs

Ordered takeout. Got dumplings, paid for extra sauce, made a note asking for extra sauce, got no sauce. Not even the standard one that comes with it. Serving dumplings with no sauce is like chicken wings with no blue cheese. Never going back here.

Loved it! Had the veggie, pork and beef bao buns and the dough was really tasty but the beef and pork hands down stole the show and are worth it! We cut them in half and then were able to sample multiple options and still eat a few different places. Also super friendly guy at the cash register and very fast service. If I had more time I would have gotten soup dumplings as well

Not terrible but could use some work. I was really looking forward to the bao bun but it was more bun than meat. I prefer the meat ground so you can taste the overall bite in the bao bun, but that’s just preference. The meatball had good flavor but some sauce would’ve been better. The dumplings were very fresh and delicious. Next time I’ll try them fried.

Did not enjoy the food at all. I’ve eaten in so many different restaurants that are very similar and this food just tasted gross unfortunately. Great service. Maybe I had a bad batch but it was truly unfortunate.

This is for take out, but it needs to be said. The days of the Asian man "nonspeaka da English are over". You should be embarrassed you acted like that. Now either you or Door Dash messed up the order and I'm trying to have you help me figure it out. The food is decent, and you have the best prices, but everytime there is an issue, a customer has to speak to the "manager" and the manager acts like he doesn't understand English. It's culturally insensitive that you refuse to communicate with me in my first person language. Get with the times. Any other cuisine and you can communicate. I'm positive there's someone that works for you that speaks English

Tonight I took the boys to "FIVE LOAVES AND TWO FISHES CHINESE CUISINE". Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Elmhurst, "Five Loaves and Two Fishes Chinese Cuisine" at 82-72 Broadway is a delightful gem that transports diners to the heart of China with its authentic flavors and warm atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with a charming decor that combines traditional Chinese elements with a modern twist. The ambiance is inviting, making it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, showcasing the richness of Chinese culinary traditions. One standout is their Kung Pao Chicken, which features tender chicken pieces stir-fried to perfection with crunchy peanuts and vibrant vegetables, all enveloped in a savory, spicy sauce. Each bite is an explosion of flavor that keeps you coming back for more. Another must-try is the handmade pork buns, filled with a delectable mixture of pork and vegetables. They are steamed to a delightful softness, served with a tangy dipping sauce that enhances the overall experience. The integrity of the ingredients shines through, exemplifying the restaurant's commitment to quality. For seafood lovers, the Szechuan-style shrimp is a real treat. The shrimp are cooked flawlessly, retaining their juiciness while being enveloped in a perfectly balanced spicy sauce that brings the dish to life. Pair this with their fragrant fried rice for a satisfying meal. The service here is impeccable, with attentive staff who genuinely care about your dining experience. They are always ready with recommendations and ensure that your meal is nothing short of exceptional. To top it all off, the dessert options should not be overlooked. The mango pudding is light and refreshing, a perfect way to conclude a hearty meal. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in delicious Chinese fare. Highly recommended! #onlyinqueens #Fiveloavesandtwofisheschinesecuisine

I love their roasted ducks 🦆 & sesame chicken 🐓 . Whenever I go to Queens I have to stop by here to get half a duck or chicken no matter what circumstances 😂 . For $15 you get a container full of half chicken and $18 for half a Duck plentiful enough for the week. Their dimsum selections is also good. They only take CASH no Card accepted which is a disadvantage.

Delicious clam and cabbage dough in the morning. Handmade dumplings are very traditional. Highly recommended if you would like to have a Chinese dish with less salt, less fat, but good vegies and proteins! They definitely open everyday for breakfast. The open time here is wrong. The service is good. It might be slow during peaks because they have very limited staff members. But everyone here is professional and helpful in their services. Plus, people would wait for hours for a French or Italian dish. So why not for a nice Chinese plate?

This is real Chinese food! Nothing super fancy or dazzling, just authentic and homey always, the hostess is really welcoming and understanding too.

I ordered vegetable loofah and some expensive seafood dishes, the woman who took my order intentionally waited to tell me that they were out of stock on loofah, she purposely waited until we almost finished eating the seafood, even though she knew it was out of stock since the beginning, but she intentionally delayed telling us so it was too late for us to change our mind and leave the restaurant, THEN she told me she was out of loofah. I then ordered bitter melon, this time she told us it's out of stock RIGHT AWAY, because by this time, we almost finished eating the seafood, so we could not leave and she knew that. At the end when I got my check, she wrote $22 as the tip, even though the customer (me) is supposed to decide how much tip to give. She forced me to give her a large tip, which is rather shameless because of how calculating and dishonest she is, and how poor the service was.

Leaving this review for my mom. She always comes here with my aunts and they say the food reminds them of home. It’s authentic fuzhou food so don’t expect chicken and broccoli lol

A good classic cantonese place. BBQ meats and cantonese breakfast was delicious. The flavors were so authentic and made me feel like I was back in Hong Kong. No frills, you may need to share your table. There's also limited seating so you may need to wait for a table. Service is as expected - helpful but not necessarily friendly. We'll definitely come back!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and I absolutely love it! Their roast pork noodle soup is my absolute favorite food. The pork has a sweet crust and a flavorful inside I love. The noodles are cooked perfectly and the soup is always super flavorful. It’s so cheap as well and the staff is all so nice!

If you looking for some real good food don’t come here . Serving size, presentation, taste, ingredients are all bare minimum. I would give it a 1 star but truthfully when you’re really hungry this place would do the trick . I live near by so it’s my last resort Chinese food if I’m not driving but other wise I would go else where because their food is very ehh . Lazy .

This place food is very good. The shrimp orders I have placed in the past, have all been very good and cleaned out. In other words, no shrimp poop in their veins. That's a good thing because I have been or have ordered shrimp from other restaurants that have not been cleaned out. Now that's nasty to have that on your plate ready to put in your mouth. At home we don't order from any other place around. Plus the food is good prices, not over priced like some restaurant around them. We have tried other places but after we found this restaurant, we have only ordered from them due to the good quality food. Their lunch specials are very plentiful with the amount of food you get. Their combinations orders are good for two people to share with an appetizers.

Ordered off DoorDash. The food was absolutely inedible. I usually go for Panda Express when I’m craving Chinese but figured a local Chinese food spot would be better. I couldn’t be more wrong. The food all had the same oily stale smell and the fried rice was just drenched in soy sauce to the point where that’s all you could taste. I know some people enjoy the greasy overly sweet/tangy sugary salty Chinese food but not me. I’m down $30 and left hungry tonight.

This place is has such good Chinese food. It's old school Chinese food did that you didn't find anymore. Everything is always delicious!!!!!

Was hoping the food would get better with the new owner, but it just didn't hit the mark. I'll give them another try and update my review accordingly. Hoping for a better experience next time. Maybe they just had an off day.

I wish I read the reviews before I ate there I ordered extra large shrimp in lobster sauce the shrimp was extra small and in was in a container of sauce nothing much of anything else. The beef on a stick was dry the chicken wings were ok. The rice had an odd flavor to it and not in a good way. So thats just my opinion needless to say I won't be going back.
