This is a golden nugget in La Quinta! First of all great service. Food is great, with lots of flavor and perfectly seasoned. Try the plate with assorted appetizers, so good. The spare ribs are perfect. Today we tried chicken sweet and sour , and pork sweet and sour. Very good. The batter they fry the chicken in have a great flavor and are very crispy. Restaurant could get some love, but you go here for the food. We are coming back and I can definitely recommend this Chinese restaurant.

Absolute worst chicken in garlic sauce and fried rice I've had in over 5 states. Absolute no for me. So sorry. The rice was mush and not really seasoned. The chicken itself was chewy like it had been boiled and not cooked in a wok. The garlic sauce itself was the worst part over all. It's a cute place though. For atmosphere 5 stars. For food no stars. The wontons were also very undesirable. Not the worst I've had but definitely at the bottom.

Our party of four was very impressed with the restaurant from the moment we walked in until we walked out with our bag of leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. The staff was very friendly and welcoming with excellent service. The food, needless to say, was unique and delicious. We had the chicken wrap appetizer, beef rib appetizer, tangerine duck, crisp beef, egg plant with noodle and shrimp with walnuts. The rice and tea was plentiful. We can't wait to come back. A five star experience.

This is a lovely little restaurant with excellent food, a cozy yet modern atmosphere, and a wonderful staff. This was my first time, here, and we will definitely return! From the moment I opened the door, I knew I would leave happy -- we were greeted with big smiles and the fragrance of ginger. YUM! Had the pot stickers, crispy ginger lamb, curried rice noodles, General Tzo's Chicken, and something like Happy Family. Everything was great, and the service was excellent. THANK YOU.

Surprised my new bride with a stay in a Air B&B downtown here (above the reality company downtown…amazing!!!) on our way back home from our honeymoon. Ate here the evening we got here and by far some of the best Chinese food we’ve had! Spring rolls were on point and they could make our food with white meat chicken instead of dark meat! Place was also spotless and smelled clean when we walked in. We were the only ones here but had such a great date night dinner here! Would highly recommend!!!

Authentic Chinese, prepared by authentic Chinese! Good food, good prices, good sized portions, decent service. Poor English skills.

Place definitely needs to be updated as far as benches blinds were so dusty lo mein was delicious n flavorful service was great too

Ming Du is one of those restaurants you walk in and just feel comfortable. The owner is very friendly with an infectious smile. The staff are all extremely friendly. Plenty of parking. Seats are comfortable, decor gives it that old school feeling. We started with the hot and sour soup. They do a great job with this. You can tell they put their heart into this. It has those complex flavors created by vinegar, whine and white pepper to give it a perfect kick. Absolutely delicious! The PuPu platter had a strong showing. The beef teriyaki was marinated perfectly and very tender. The fingers and shrimp were breaded perfectly with a nice crunch while the protein wasn't overcooked. Crab rangoons were creamy with a slight hint of sweetness. They were really good. Wings were really good right out of the kitchen. Overall the appetizers were really good! Thier pork fried rice (I get it without onions) was spot on, very good! Orange crispy beef will make you want to come back for more. To truly enjoy any crispy dish I always suggest eating in. This was great! Kung Pao chicken was cooked just right. Absolutely delicious! This a great place for Chinese food. Their prices are lower than most of the places I go. The also offer small and large sizes on a lot of their items including entrées. And they have a great selection of combo's! Check the out!

Everything we have ever ordered has been fantastic and consistent. I cannot express how great the food is here. The family that runs it are amazing people too, always putting a big smile on our faces from the moment you order. Do yourself a favor and bring some home, you will not be disappointed!

The sweetest most welcoming woman at the counter. They have the best Chinese food I’ve ever tasted! Highly, highly recommended!

Great food, service and a true Gem in downtown Mendota, only downfall was did not see much for mushrooms! They do offer deserts on the buffet, and bill was 13.50 with drink. Also to note was the decor is nice. Will definitely come back.

I ate here 2 nights in a row. Food tasted good ! My favorite was hot and sour soup and spicy shrimp. They do have a good variety of dishes. Desserts are available as well. Prices are very reasonable. The only thing I have to say they should update their seating area. It's very old. Décor update is a must in every business. Will be back again when in the area.

The worst food delivery I’ve ever had. I ordered the fatty beef dry hot pot. I couldn’t find even one piece of beef at all other than these like ground fat. It also came with musty cabbage and sausage. I happened to eat some cus I wasn’t paying attention and was eating while watching TV shows. Now I feel so sick. I never left any comments but the food here is disgusting.

The bestttt Chinese food for both dine-in AND takeout. I’ve had a lot of Chinese food places in my life but this place is def the best. I’ve had the sesame chicken, general tso’s, fried rice, and lo Mein and I am so serious when I say every single thing was the best I’ve ever had - flavor and texture are on point!!! This is also the only Chinese food I’ve had that doesn’t leave me feeling terrible afterwards which is worth mentioning. It’s somewhat family style so you can’t get the “combo” meals that you can get at a typical place. So one meat dish and one noodle/rice dish can feed ~2 people - just an FYI but plz don’t let it stop you from ordering!

Best service & best food! Love ❤️❣️💕 their vegetarian general tso chicken!! Great service & everything came out so quick!

This is a review for the VEGETARIAN food. To start, I arrived at lunch time, parking was a hassle, somewhat busy but I was attended to within 10 minutes. I ordered a vegetable roll which came out fairly quickly. Absolutely full of oil, I took one bite and a spoonful full of oil dropped out of it. I couldn’t even finish it very bad. I ordered vegetarian garlic chicken and white rice. The veggies were crunchy and fresh, the sauce was more like a brown sauce and the soy based chicken was disgusting. The veg chicken was more like a thin tofu skin which was dry and chewy - not like a typical soy based mock meat. This is more like a tofu skin that was over cooked. Worst of all, my expectation was high as I turned and witnessed a few people order meat and get their orders first. This made me assume I would be receiving fresh mock meat but that was not the case. Overall, I will not return unless I order a veggie based dish without the mock meat. It seems that their meat dishes are popular, I would steer away from the mock meat chicken if you order a vegetarian dish. The service was good, the server was friendly and made suggestions. The environment was busy but a nice aesthetic. Prices are more than reasonable. I hope your experience is better than mine if you visit :)

I came with my family during weekends. The buns and fried tofu were delicious and tasty. All of us love it. A good place, very chill and friendly. This is a hidden gem in Hoboken

My wife and I recently visited South Lions Dim Sum & Tea, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. We loved the variety of dim sum options, all served fresh and hot. The steamed dumplings were perfect, and the Portuguese egg tarts were a sweet and delightful treat. The service was efficient and friendly, and we appreciated how clean and cozy the place felt. Everything we tried was excellent. We will definitely be coming back to try more dishes! This restaurant is now one of our favorites, and we can’t wait to come back again! If you’re in Hoboken and looking for a great place to enjoy dim sum with your loved ones, this is the spot to go.

We consider Spring Garden a take-out restaurant. There are a few tables but no table service (very small space). It's certainly not "5 star dining" but we've never had any issues and we think it's a good value for the money. I especially like the pan fried or steamed dumplings. Nice people. Our last time there they gave us a complimentary quart of egg drop soup. The photos included are General Tso's Chicken, Small Beef w/ broccoli, Fried Dumplings, one egg roll, one spring roll and egg drop soup.

Am beyond impressed with the quality and quality of the food for the price. Tasted fresh! Excellent service as well and very polite staff. Very prompt service as well, was in and out in no time at all.

My extended family and I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant after attending a funeral. We were pleasantly surprised by their ability to accommodate our large group, providing us with a separate room for our gathering. To enhance our dining experience, we decided to order our meals family style, allowing us to share and savor a variety of dishes together. The restaurant offers decent Chinese cuisine, which satisfied our taste buds. However, I must mention that I am unable to give a full 5-star rating because we did not have the chance to try their sushi yet. I believe that experiencing their sushi would have added another layer of enjoyment to our meal. Nonetheless, I appreciate the restaurant's efforts in catering to our needs during this challenging time.

Koi Chinese Cuisine and Lounge is a great Chinese and Japanese restaurant. The restaurant is extremely clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a modern upscale casual restaurant with lower than market pricing. It is decorated with Asian decor adding to the ambiance. I had the pleasure of talking to the owner. He cares so much about his food that he brought a consultant in to taste his dishes to help bring them up a notch. They have a delicious hot and sour soup to start your meal. Their PuPu platter is really solid, the beef teriyaki being the highlight. They do the old school circle style shrimp. The shrimp coating had a nice crunch without drying out the shrimp on the inside. The chicken fingers were cooked perfectly. Crab rangoons were delicious. I am usually more of a celery fan on my egg rolls, however theirs had a really nice flavor, I really enjoyed it. Wings had a perfect crisp and were very juicy. I enjoyed these more with a little duck sauce. Both the spareribs with and without the bone were extremely tender. I suggested a little more charring. They were very good though. I had pork fried rice without onions (personal preference), this was very solid. I really liked it. The shrimp with lobster sauce was one of the best I've had. It wasn't salty or sweet, just perfect flavors. Shrimp tasted fresh and had a nice texture. Kung Pao chicken was delicious. Had a little kick that sneaks up. Orange beef was really tender with a delicious sauce. I was extremely happy with my meal. They also offer a bunch of lunch and dinner specials. I think that you will see some of the items I had elevated as they grow to improve. I have eaten at all of the Chinese food places in the immediate area of Koi and without changing a thing I believe this is the best option. Check them out! They also offer Mai Tai's (delicious) and Scorpion Bowls to go!!

We’ve dined here several times and absolutely love it. The food is so good and my partner says it’s the best kung pao he’s had in the area. We enjoy the peanut noodles and other chicken dishes as well.

Normally, the food is excellent. However, we ordered the whole Peking Duck for $69, and all we received was a mix of a reheated shredded thigh and skin mixture. We couldn't find any breast meat. See the picture. Having just returned from having had amazing Peking Duck in Singapore, this was a huge disappointment. There, and at Jiangnan in Boston, they bring the whole duck and carve it at your table. We do not believe we received a whole duck. When we complained, they said it was served differently. In the past, at this restaurant, the duck was served with large pieces of breast meat topped with crispy skin. But not this time. The skin and meat were fatty and salty. Note, we were at the restaurant early at 4. One previous time, we arrived early and also did not seem to receive a whole duck. It seems like early arrivers get shredded duck from the previous day. This said, everything else we had was excellent. My grandsons loved the teriyaki beef sticks, pot stickers, house fried rice, and the always superb jumbo shrimp in spicy Shanghai sauce. If we have the duck here again, we will ask to have the whole duck brought to our table where we will carve it ourselves.
