Small mom and pop. Cash only but good food and fast service! They do not speak much English but we were able to order just fine :) great prices would recommend!

This place is definitely as 'hole-in-the-wall' as it gets, located in the alley way to the right of Royal Kitchen. This is the place for tasty cheap-eats Chinese food. Not a big fan of their fat-noodle dishes, but definitely try their rice plates, such as their black pepper pork chop w/ rice. For the price, you get really decent food! There's free 30-min validated parking in the back (entrance @ Kukui st) where the Chinese School is.

Food is genuine, authentic, and delicious. The food is personally a comfort food, and was made very well. I ordered the combination pho, along with spring rolls and egg rolls, which tasted delicious. The restaurant itself is cozy, and has a cute and bright atmosphere. Definitely would stop by again.

I love this place! Everything is delicious! The rare steak pho is my favorite. There are so many options on the menu I want to try eventually but I keep going back to the yummy pho. I’m grateful to have such awesome Vietnamese food downtown. It’s a cozy little place, super clean and sweet service. If you haven’t been, go today!

U can take out or eat in. Nice salad bar that’s always fresh and hot foods. Seasoned n taste good. I’m trying to eat healthier so it’s become my go to when I’m out n about during the day. But I’m not coming until after 11…that when the steak is ready…yum..

The food was ok, meat was tender. Wasn't seasonedike normal. Preferred Banana Brazil in Waterbury.

After having a bad experience with "Ronald's Restaurant" (check out my review for that resto), "Creole Fusion Cuisine" made my day. This is by far the best haitian food and Fritay I have had in Bridgeport CT. I had black rice with pigeon peas and legumes, plus a Fritay. My goodness, the food tasted so freaking good. By the way this is the first resto where i eat a legumes with real beef, not freaking turkey 🤮Although the fritay was a bit expensive ($23) but they give you food for your money (just my opinion), the medium black rice /legumes was $14. Not bad. My only problem with the resto is the appearance. If they could invest a little bit on its look that would be wonderful. Overall the food was excellent.

I order rice with red beans and chicken in chicken sauce. They gave me chicken hawk when I told them the regular chicken which is soft chicken. Chicken hawk is hard that’s what they serve me. The rice they serve me was uncooked it didn’t taste good at all. I took a few scoop of spoon and I save the rest for later. I end up eating the rest of the rice later. I was really starving so it didn’t taste that bad when I was really hungry. The chicken they serve didn’t taste that good. They didn’t season it right. I end up finishing eating it later cause I was really hungry

Absolutely incredible, I don't have the words to do it justice. After having a real mid experience at a "classic" style diner the other day Queen's Delight was my Delight. Can't imagine a better way to start the morning than with a stomach full of perfection. Wings were flavorful, skin crispy without being crunchy, fruity pebble French toast was holding a bowls worth of ceral, and together made a combo fit for a Queen. Music and vibes were immaculate! If you're in town or passing through you need to make the stop for this breakfast without question.

Look, the food is fire , very good and worth the try. However for the price I probably wouldn’t be back. Is it the best chicken and waffles I’ve had ? Probably, but for the price I can’t say it’s worth it . Six chicken wings and a waffle for about 25 bucks doesn’t seem that bad but they are like a “football Sunday” wing size . Can find comparable albeit not as good chicken and waffles for half the price .

Truly an amazing restaurant! The food was delicious; so tasty and amazing portions. The drinks were delicious, we tried their lychee mojito and boba, and they were all so good!

I went there yesterday for the first time and I loved it. A friend who knows the place invited me and another friend to eat there, and all of us loved it. The food, service, and place were perfect. Highly recommended.

We went to Fish House and was sent here because of the long wait. The food was pretty good. I loved my shrimp and the green beans and the shrimp tempura sushi. Hubby’s gumbo was really good. I wish the California roll had roe on it. My kids had the grilled fish meal with mashed potatoes. $10 for a kids grilled fish meal is pretty pricey. I did not like the grits. It was my fault. I didn’t realize they were rice grits vs corn grits. I was not a fan of the fluffy texture. My husband loved his old fashioned. My margarita was okay. Total bill was $165 for 2 adults and 2 kids. We went at night and it was too cold to sit outside for us however they do have lots of outdoor heaters and plastic that blocks the wind if you want to sit outside. Our server was very nice and attentive. Zero issues with her.

First time visit to Atlas oyster House. A chili but sunny afternoon on a Sunday. Lindsay C was our server and she was great. Kept our glasses full and was knowledgeable and friendly without being overbearing. We started with a selection of raw oysters. All the oysters were fresh, plump and juicy. Serve with cocktail sauce, horseradish, and a soy type mignonette which I didn’t care for but the cocktail sauce was killer! Sweet and spicy! Entrees were a roasted garlic Caesar topped with salmon and a crawfish pot pie. The salmon was cooked perfectly at medium rare as requested, and the crawfish pie was savory and delicious with a crust! Definitely be going back to this place ! Urban Cowgill December 2024

I'm from Hong Kong and the food + atmosphere here was pretty authentic. The waitress spoke fluent Cantonese and Mandarin and there was a TV playing the TVB channel from Hong Kong. They seemed understaffed though and had to turn away some other customers while we were eating. Iced Hong Kong milk tea was good, not too sweet. I got omelette rice with satay sauce, shrimp and char siu. The satay sauce had lots of peanuts in it and went well with the ingredients. The shrimp tasted better than the char siu but both are good. My husband got chicken with green onions, 2 sunny-side-up eggs and fried rice. Green onions with their scallion oil is always a great combination with chicken and rice. They also had lots of porridge and noodle options on their menu, and after 11am they have baked rice as well, which is difficult to get from other Chinese restaurants. We then shared the ovaltine French toast for dessert, which is a unique product from them and the highlight of the meal. The toast was covered in ovaltine powder (chocolate-like in flavor), and the inside contained hot condensed milk, which mixed well with the powder when you slice the toast open to provide an amazing sweet and sticky flavor. This dish is only for dine-in customers, as takeout would make the bread too soggy. Would definitely recommend.

A throwback from the bygone days of small cafes in Hong Kong. The menu is quite typical and the food was very tasty. We had the beef briskets & tendon over rice and ginger onion lomein. The briskets and tendons were some of the tenderest I ever had and was right on point. The lomein was quite good as well. The food came out quickly and the sitting area was comfortable and not cramped as in old Hong Kong. It’s getting harder and harder to find a non-Pho restaurant in Chinatown and this is a good one if you are tired of Phos.

Hawaii Dim Sum & Seafood Restaurant 0

Food and service were excellent. Came here for dinner. They can make all the steamed dimsum dishes. However not everything was available. If you want the full dimsum menu, must go before 330pm. Food wasn’t too salty or (too sweet)! We loved everything we got! Service was great. Staff was friendly and very attentive! Reasonably priced!

Having dim sum in Honolulu is nice. The price is really good comparing to San Francisco. And the shrimp dumplings are huge. The Xiao Long Bao was very large but again a little saltier than normal. The vegetables were a little salty so if you ask not to add salt that will improve the food flavor….

Ordered chicken lo mein and dumplings. The dumplings came out fried, was surprisingly good so I didn’t say anything. I showed her a picture of chicken lo mein attached to this review and the other image is what she brought out. I asked 3 times before ordering if it will look like this, and she said yes.The chicken was undercooked, there was no flavor in the “lo mein”, and it looked nothing like the photos. My bf and I decided to give it a chance and took a bite and I know it’s really rude to spit out food but we did respectfully. I asked the waitress 3 times after she delivered if this was the correct order and she said yes. After sitting and not eating any of it for 10 minutes we finally waved her down. Keep in mind, only 2 tables inside. I asked her if it’s possible to send it back politely. She said since we both took a bite, we have to pay. She continued to get loud and yell at us, and bring attention to our table. We were very polite. I said I will pay for what I ate, the dumplings. There was obviously spat out food on our plates. I’ve never been so unsatisfied. I paid and left. Prior to leaving , I told her that the dumplings were really good though and I still tipped.

I loved the dim sum. It was hot, tasted fresh, lots of filling, not greasy or soggy. Three dim sum is a large portion. The service was quick and the prices, I think, were reasonable. One large portion was $6.95. The server gave me the menu with photos, which I found really helpful.

Loved my quick takeout lunch here. Online order is super easy and it's great for skipping the waiting lines. The Hainan style chicken was very satisfying and a solid portion to bring on the post-lunch snoozes. Only thing I could have wanted was a spicy chili sauce with it- otherwise it comes with shoyu, ginger oil and sweet chili sauce. The braised gizzards were tasty too :)

I was passing by and a parking space was available so I pulled right in. Yes, they have a very limited parking and they are very popular. I went in for my lunch and the place was full with Straub Medical people as the Straub Medical Center is very near by and the people working at the Honolulu Police Station across the street. I placed an order of black bean sauce over chicken and noodle for $14.50, which is cheap, and it was great, soo tasty. I also have to mention that the staff are very polite and efficient while this place was so busy. This is a great place and I would come more only if there were more parking.

The roasted duck and pork at this establishment are exceptional, reminiscent of authentic Chinese flavors found in Los Angeles. The customer service is outstanding, always ensuring a pleasant visit with minimal wait times. While parking in a nearby lot is convenient, the restaurant itself lacks indoor seating; however, just a short walk away, the bustling market offers ample seating amidst various shops and a vibrant atmosphere.

The well known, popular place next to Sing Cheong closed last year so we've been going here. Prices are a little higher than the one a few blocks away but it's still very good. Friendly service, right across from parking lot too. Best to eat the roast pork and duck right away so the skin is still crispy
