So I wanted to try this Chinese restaurant for the 1st time bc it's on the way home from work...and that will be the only time I order from there again!!! 1st off they only except cash payments. The menu from online is NOT up to date bc it cost me $20 more than calculated. Then when I showed up to pick up my order the restaurant was dingy and freezing cold with NO HEAT! The staff was bundled in layers...the place seems like this place could have been an illegal restaurant or something. As for the quality of the food, that was also very disappointing the food was bland, underseasoned, the fried rice was actually white....I don't suggest anyone new or just traveling through to waste their money here.

Always fast. Best crab rangoon in the 518. Wonton soup is awesome. Fried chicken wings are huge. Never messed an order up or forgot anything. Hidden gem.

I've ordered in the past a family meal and everything was great! I mostly order Chicken or vegetables lo mein and chicken broccoli and even time it very delicious 😋 and fresh. Delivery is fast and personal are friendly. I will recommend it.

Best house rice I’ve had in the area as well as crab Rangoon’s and boneless ribs. I stopped eating chineese food due to it upsetting my stomach but not here! It’s amazinggg. Also very fairly priced can’t wait for. My Thanksgiving order!

Chicken 65 was good and must try. Gobi Manchurian was great. Service was wonderful and quick. Veg biriyani was Okie with lot of vegetables and less rice. Rice quality was okie. If u don’t need an ambience but good food u can come here. Service was really great and a special mention.

Good food, very good service - the boy and the girl were smiling and welcoming. Fried rice was good but had extra soya sauce and oil and quantity is less, goat biriyani was good, chicken lollipop was good.

Highly disappointed with my selections. The orange chicken I would think twice about feeding my dog (see photo) and had zero orange flavor. And the green onion (scallion) pancakes were about twice as thick as I'm accustomed to, and it was undercooked except at the edges. When I commented to the server about my dissatisfaction (he seemed surprised I didn't want to take away so many leftovers), no accommodation was made to compensate or acknowledge my feedback. And to top it all off, the fortune cookie was stale. Luckily, a friend recommended another nearby Chinese place the following night that I thoroughly enjoyed, allowing me to expunge the taste and experience of New Red Jade.

We grew up with a lot of chinese cuisines in southeast asia- teochew, hakka, hainam, foochow, hokkien, cantonese. And while vacationing in San Francisco, after sunday mass at the Mission Basilica, we stumbled upon the New Red Jade and decided to have some chinese for sunday lunch. Very nice boss and family. Very welcoming. Restaurant is clean. We ordered the Lemon Chicken and String Beans, white rice for 2. Generous portions!!! Delicious, delicious, delicious. Tastes wholesome, like home 😍 lemon chicken is a dish we have back home, but back home it is cooked with various chicken parts like thighs etc, and we even have orange chicken versions.. BUT nevertheless the lemon chicken here is prepared with breast meat, and is crunchy and not dried out... which makes is very yummy. We saw many families and friends dining there, and we hope many more people will go to the New Red Jade and give them a try. If you dont know what to order, try what we've ordered.. ☺️ Will definitely come back when we visit SF again! Thank you laupan (boss) and family and team for preparing these dishes and for feeding us these delicious food. Keep it up! Jia yu! 🫶

So here we are again, trying a new place in a neighborhood which I haven't spent much time in. Somehow the evening called for Chinese food and we decided to give Eric a try. One thing is for sure. Eric has left the building or an apprentice with the same name took over the cooking. Let's start from the beginning. Eric's can make a name for itself for the fastest fast food restaurant, even McDonald's could learn from Eric's. We sat down, we place the order of three dishes and they all arrived in under 2 min. Ouch, that was the first warning sign, the 2nd warning sign , they all looked the same. The 3rd warning sign, they all tasted the same. Dear chef, you don't need to dislike your craft that much. The beef was already dead. No need to drown it XO Sauce a 2nd time around. Same goes for the egg plant, please cherish this beautiful vegetable, don't take your frustrations out on it. 5000 years of Chinese cuisine and that's what you came up with? Just take a fork and stab me, it would be less painful. Yes the interior is pretty nice.

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday, and was really impressed with the food! It came out super fast, the service was nice, and the atmosphere is chill. We ordered three dishes: Eric’s Spicy Eggplant, General Tso’s chicken & Snow Peas Moo Goo chicken. They were all great dishes and will absolutely be ordering them again. Don’t skip Eric’s spicy eggplant!

A very interesting place to dine. Indian fast food. Because the menu was so vast, my friend an i decided to order tapas style. We got the deconstructed samosa (w/ lamb), SEXY fries (W/ chicken) & tikka masala w/ paneer & kulcha naan to share. To dink we ordered the Mango Lassi and the Chai Tea. You order everything at the counter and then have a seat. The food comes out pretty quickly. Inside, the layout gives like a regular fast food place, just tables and chairs. Nothing special, nothing fancy. To me it seems like a really cool place to grab lunch or a quick dinner. As far as the food goes, everything was a certified hit!! The portions are great, prices are fair, and service is fast. I would love to come back and try another round of their selections.

Great selection of India inspired dishes. I’m still not sure what makes some dishes “street food” but what I’ve had is delicious. One orders at the counter and they bring the food to you. They even clean the table after. The dishes are tasty, but not blistering hot to accommodate westerners pallets. We had two Ghee Makhni Butter Bowls and a Tikka Masala Bowl with an assortment of Naan and Fountain drinks. Don’t be scared away with the names of dishes, the staff will guide you through to a dish that fits your pallet. Atmosphere and service is very good. Indoor and outdoor seating is available on real dishes, glass cups and metal cutlery.

Henry’s Hunan is a SF institution that used to have locations across the city. COME GET DIANA’s SPECIAL!!! An invention of the founder and named after his wife. It is my favorite dish in the world and Henry’s is the only place you can get it. Everything is fabulous, from their homemade dumplings, to string beans w meat sauce, to chicken salad, to other entrees like Henry’s shredded pork. You can choose your spice levels, from mild to kick your butt spicy. I cannot recommend this piece of SF history enough.

So delicious! We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the Mongolian beef and it was amazing. The food is high quality and the menu is extensive with many appealing options. Already can’t wait to come back!

Communication problem over the phone. Specifically asked how much a side of corn was and was told $3.00. When we got home with the order , we were charged $13.50 for a side. When I called back they were closed. So I called the next day and explained the situation. I was told the person on the phone made the mix up and when she checked with the chef it was actually more. At that point a call back should have been made on their part. Never would I pay $13.50 for a side. She said sorry it was the girl who answered the phone, she didn’t know what she was doing. She said she will refund me and I will be holding them to that. Incompetence on their end shouldn’t cost me money. That’s just bad service!!

Love the food here which is very fresh. We go here usually twice a month to pick up. The owners are a lovely couple (I assume they are the owners).

We had food catered for a funeral dinner elsewhere. The food was delicious with all guests completely satisfied. The owner was attentive to our needs and behaved friendly and professional as always. A+++++ job well done !!!!!!

Went there to eat with people from work some of them were not sitting with us and they ordered food and dipped. The food was then given to me and told I had to pay for their order because I knew the waitress went to high school with her and then I ended up with an 88.00 bill . Luckily another employee split the bill with me because I can only afford what I order due to being post cancer. I will never go there again hope it burns to the ground!

Marianos has delicious cooked entrees in their refrigerated case. Also, soups, pasta sauce, and desserts. Available also is frozen pasta, a deli counter to get great lonza, prociutto, cheese, and pre-made hoagies. A great place to find all sorts of imported goodies.

Nice selection of Italian foods, kitchen items, Italian meats, hoagies and homemade dinners to go…excellent risotto!

I hate to have to write this since I am a fan of Noodles and Company, especially their Chicken Noodle Soup, but after ordering 6 bowls of that item and receiving such a small portion that left me and my family disappointed, this is one location I do not recommend. The amount of broth barely covered the noodles and other ingredients. I spoke with a team member but it seems the portion size is predetermined and since it was via Uber Eats, nothing could be done from their end. Overall, best to avoid takeout from this location. If anything, you're better off taking your chances eating inside the location for at least the possibility of a good portion size.

i used to go here all the time and i'm glad not much has changed
