Have been wanting to try fan tuan forever and realized this place sells it!! $3.50 per roll and very tasty. I will be coming back here regularly to try their other items as well

This is what I have been looking for all these years. Perfection! The bun is soft and the stuffings are delicious (hard boil egg, pork, sausage) "Steam bun"

this is my most favorite place to eat in Chinatown, and one of my favorite restaurants in Philly. the food is so fresh, flavorful, and authentic. you can really tell a lot of work and love is put into the food. for under $10 you can get a big ol bowl of hand made noodles served in a complex and comforting broth. most times, i am unable to finish my bowl of ramen, but i walk out feeling so full, warmed, and ready for a nap. my husband and i love this spot and we have so many great memories here. we’ve brought friends and family. i often come here by myself to read, write, watch tv, or really just sit there and enjoy the atmosphere and i always feel welcomed. you can tell other patrons feel the same, often coming to sit, eat, and watch tv for awhile because it feels so homey. please come and support this small business! thank you for the amazing service:)

We really love the chongqing fried chicken and the perfect taste soup here. The boneless chicken is so tender and crispy, you just can’t stop trying it.

I’ve been waiting for rice rolls to come to Philly and I’m happy to report these hit the spot! The rice rolls are so fresh, soft, & flavorful. The prices aren’t as low as some places in NYC china town, but $8 isn’t bad either. I can’t wait to come back! The staff is also very friendly & accommodated putting the sauce on the side (not pictured) for my bf’s rolls since he is gluten free.

The food here was really good and so does the service. The restaurant was clean and very comfortable when i entered. The portion was average. I only tried a few dishes this time but will go back again to try more. Definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Had the most amazing experience here! Was hosted for an event, and the food was top tier. This is the best elevated Chinese food I’ve ever had. They have unique dishes such as blueberry general tso’s! You can tell they use top quality ingredients as well. Service was fantastic, and the decor and ambiance is elevated and beautiful. Highly recommend- I think this is the best Chinese cuisine in Chinatown/philly! They serve alcohol as well!

The food is delicious and portions are big. Please note that their dishes are generously portioned. We recommend inquiring about serving sizes before placing your order, unless you are dining with a large group.

Modern take on Chinese food. This place has only been open for a couple of months. Stopped for a lunch on a weekday. We arrived at 1:30, a little later than the lunch rush. But we were still surprised to see the place was completely empty. It's cute and nice. Seems clean. Food is a tick pricey for Philly at lunch time, especially for Chinatown. Discounts for cash here, so hit the ATM on the way. Food is good 👍🏽

You can enjoy the best food here and receive cheerful service from the waiters. No matter how busy they are, they will come over as long as you call. There is also a KTV for party, and drinks are also provided. As long as the needs that can be met can be met, I can only Say you have to try it once to understand.

This place has the best Peking duck in town! We ordered the whole duck, pan fried eggplant stuffed with shrimp, and snow pea leaves sautéed with garlic. Everything was delicious - the eggplant was caramelized in the best way possible and the peas leaves were yummy. The duck, however, was the centerpiece of the meal. It was juicy, and the skin was amazingly crispy. We wrapped the beautifully sliced meat with delicate pancakes, house sauce, and shredded scallions. It does take 40 minutes for them to prepare the duck. (This is normal for a place that specializes in Peking duck.) One thing I wish the restaurant would do better is the ambience. The place feels like a no-frills banquet hall with lights that are a little too bright. The duck that they serve deserves a slightly fancier atmosphere. That said, my family can’t wait to come back for the duck again. The dim sum menu also looks good so we’ll be back for that, too.

The service is great, the chef was cool. Food is worth it. We were there for the Peking duck. It's definitely a different taste experience. I highly recommend it. Had to get those feet and bean curds

Certainly an interesting looking restaurant, nice and modern and a break from the norm. The menu is very limited certainly in regards to warm offerings. There is an emphasis placed on hand made noodles that vary in size, and they are certainly are nice. However, the beef offered is rather poor, dry and chewy. In addition the dish I ordered was presented warm and became cold very quickly. Great service and sensible pricing, for me the menu offering is just to sparse and the meat just too cheap.

A little disappointed since I saw great reviews. The noodles were fresh but when they are stuck together, it was quite frustrating to eat. I got the oil splashed noodles with pork. By the way if you must try this place, get the pork. My friends got the beef and it was cold meat from the fridge. Seriously. You are welcome. The sauce was good but I wanted more. When I asked for more she pointed to the vinegar and Chili oil, which I guess made sense. But it just lacked volume and taste. I wish my review was different. I also got the beef hamburger. It was different for sure. Tasted okay, but not something that wowed me. I probably wouldn't come back. To be honest, the service was great and surprisingly clean here, but food was subpar. 3 stars for okay.

Love the Szechuan food here! Quite authentic and very flavorful. I am especially happy to be able to find the bone-in pepper chicken (辣子鸡) here, very close to the taste I’ve been missing for a long time! Most dishes are good as well - we are trying to come back every weekend since our first visit - this is how much I love their food. However, personally, I found their dry pot series to be quite mediocre… wouldn’t recommend ordering those.

The ambience in the restaurant was phenomenal. I’d like the quiet setting and the nice decorations reminded me I’m going to go in China The servers were very nice and helpful, they changed the plates and brought in water as soon as I finished make up. One gripe that I have about this place is the spiciness level. I think that this is not somewhere where you should go if you do not have a tolerance for spice. Every single dish I had except for the green beans were spicy. The top foods in order : 1. Spicy pork belly. 9/10 2. Cauliflower beef 3. Chicken feet

Got curious with this Restaurant so I decided to order via doordash. 左宗鸡 General Tso's Chicken - Some parts were not easy to chew. I had much better ones. It came with a side of rice. Soy 油鸡饭 Soy Sauce Chicken with Green Vegetable - this one my fave comparable to Sangkee. I love this one because tender, moist, juicy and has fat in the skin. Delish I am missing of the sauce on the side. This one is over rice. Huge portion of rice 烧鸭饭 Roasted Duck on Rice with Green Vegetable Q - the duck could have been better. The skin is not as crispy as I would like. Lack of flavor. Sangkee still has the best Roasted Duck. This one is over rice. Huge portion of rice I gave it a try but won't order here again. One and done

The shrimp dumplings was good and crunchy. The rice was Ard,very stiff and maybe microwaved, the wonton soup was ok. But that broth was popping. Most likely I won’t return.

Absolutely delicious 煎饼 (pancake)! Authentic taste - comparable to the taste from China. Recommend to take soy bean milk with it - perfect pairing. Also silky tofu soup was tasty!

Nut allergy friendly for what I ordered! A small food truck located in a nondescript plaza, Lau's Kitchen is a hidden gem! On a nice day, you'll notice people waiting in their cars with the window down waiting for their orders to be called. Order to Ready: 6 Minutes We got a Laus Pancake Wrap with spam for three people to have a snack. It comes with two fluffy crepe-like wraps that are an explosion of sweet, spicy, crispy, and soft all at once. One is enough for a snack and two is a full meal, and the spam adds some protein and extra texture. The value is great for the portions you get!

Having traveled to Hong Kong and Mainland China I can say that the food here mimics the flavors and sparks inexhaustible memories from many meals shared with colleagues and friends. Go for Sunday dim sum brunch if you want to really get an authentic experience. My personal favorites : turnip cake, meatballs, soup dumplings and the taro dumpling. The waitresses are friendly and funny and more than willing to help you understand the endless options available. For 2 of us the bill was 60 bucks and we had 7 different dishes and fried rice. GO HERE! You won’t be sorry .

I've been coming to this place for years. This time I came on a Sunday first time I saw this place not that full. Service was pretty bad. Had to ask for water for the table at least six or seven times, from servers and even from another person who was the manager. Some of the regular dim sums were ok, not as good as I remember. The soup dumplings were pretty bad and staluck to the spoons. The dough was thick and pasty. The stuffing for lot of the dumplings was all mushi. The chicken feet and the short rib were good. The Chinese broccoli was good. The pork Schumai was nice, other than that it felt pretty meh. Hopefully was the one-time thing maybe I'll try them again we will see. But the next time I have a craving I'll probably try one of the other places either in Chinatown or on Washington avenue.
