Very good service, the food was cooked fast, and the variety is better than Phan Shin. Come here instead!!!

The food is good but the place is awful 😣 Spiderwebs are everywhere, unclean and seemed like abandoned place.also the woman that was working there gave me bill with 2 $extra, and after reviewing it she told me it was by mistake and gave me coke instead because she cannot turn money back. Any way i don’t think so i will come again to this place just because of the quality of the place🤢

NGL their Mongolian Beef is legit. I got the entree size and couldn't eat it all which means it was enough for leftovers. The veg was tender and actual large pieces of I think maybe flank steak but very tender. I'm craving moar.

A nice Chinese restaurant in Oxford. We grabbed take out after a long day. We enjoyed it. The service was good and they had our order ready on time. We had the orange chicken and sweet & Sour pork, along with egg rolls. Overall it was good. Not the best Chinese I've had but certainly good. They don't do dine in and the lobby, while spacious, isn't anything special. There are a few other Chinese places in the the area but this one is very close to us and we liked it. If you like Chinese it's good.

This was absolutely the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to in my life. We ordered Singapore rice noodles, house special fried rice and beef with broccoli. Everything was awful. The noodles were absolute mush. The rice was a very strange yellow color. Not normal for fried rice and the beef. I’m not quite sure what that was. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone ever.

We called and placed an order over the phone and the lady who answered the phone did not have a good grasp of English. Arrived and when we checked our order in the car there was missing items. Our order consisted of four lunch specials, dumplings, and a pint of fried rice. We received two lunch specials, one order of fried chicken, and dumplings. The price was as expected so I did not catch the error earlier. When my teenage brother went in they made one of the lunch specials to replace the fried chicken and when he told them we were still missing items a man came out of the back and began yelling at him. As the receipt they gave us was not itemized there was no way for us to prove that our order was incorrect. We can work with the order being wrong as that is something that occurs in business but for someone to think it is acceptable to yell at young customer is unprofessional. I would not recommend this establishment at all.

Fast on-time carry-out. Woman was friendly and the dining room was super clean (I specifically checked since I wasn’t dining in.) Food was all very good. Classic Detroit-style Chinese taste. Bean sprout egg rolls with excellent plum sauce. Egg foo young was very tasty and had a lot of meat. Fried rice could’ve used scrambled egg but did have a few bean sprouts. Portions for the lunch chicken chop suey and the egg foo young were more than enough. This was our first visit. I will definitely go back. Most of the negative reviews seem to specifically be about the sesame chicken. Prices seem to be on par for Chinese, I think. About $12 per lunch.

Carry out ordered sesame chicken (expecting a sweet, sticky goodness like you'd get anywhere else) BUT this was in a thick, bland gravy that wasn't good at all. We called about it and she said their sesame chicken is salty not sweet and would not do anything about it. Ate the egg rolls and threw the rest out. Never in my 30+ years have I thrown away Chinese food.

Stopped by just before closing and everything was delicious—hot & sour soup, eggplant tofu, and salt & pepper dish. Fast service and the waiter was super friendly and accommodating. A great hidden gem!

I always have an amazing dining experience at Meiji and a huge part of that was thanks to the outstanding service provided by Jadiana. From the moment I arrived, the ambiance is warm and inviting, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere that made me feel welcome. Jadiana is incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering fantastic recommendations that truly enhanced my meal. Her service is prompt, yet never rushed, and every detail is handled by her with professionalism and care. During my last visit, she made sure I had everything I needed, checking in at just the right moments while still allowing me to enjoy my meal. The food at Meiji was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Combined with the top-notch service, it made for a truly memorable dining experience with my friends. I highly recommend Meiji for anyone looking for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service. Be sure to ask for Jadiana in your next visit - you won’t be disappointed! Looking forward to coming back soon!

They played the brocoli & garlic sauce so full that liquid seeped out all over the bag, and the rest of the items. Be CAUTIOUS if using the business: they only accept cash, and there is one chair in the eating area that’s literally falling apart. Has nails sticking out a solid inch. Take a look before you sit. Pointed the chair out to three employees, all acknowledged me then left the broken chair out to be accidentally sat in. Save your money and go down the street, much better option just by CVS. Sadly won’t be returning.

Ordered the shrimp and broccoli combo with veggie fried rice. It was hands down amazing. I love a good fresh chinese take out place. The shrimp were a great size and super flavorful. I asked for mine spicy and the sauce was on point.

Had lunch with 3 others! Food was delicious! I ordered sausage broccoli rabe to go for my husband! Although it’s delicious but the portion was much smaller than what we had at the restaurant! Last time I ordered to go we had more broccoli and cavatelli for an entree!

What a fantastic place to come enjoy a meal! They have been in business for decades, and their good reputation is well deserved. The restaurant is easy to find on Route 67, and there is lots of parking. There are two dining areas, and a large bar as well. Also outdoor seating too! Staff is very friendly, but the real star of the show is the food! High quality fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly. I had an order of clams casino, they were super tasty, and the shrimp cocktail included 5 huge shrimp that were so firm and good, each one was worth 2 bites! The French onion soup was stellar, loaded with tons of gooey cheese & onions. I had the chicken "Gypsy" style, which is sauteed with sausage, roasted potatoes, vinegar peppers, and a tangy wine sauce that was delicious! My friends had the homemade lobster ravioli, chicken Marsala, and homemade gnocchi with braised pork and a great tomato sauce. Everyone was pleased with the large portions and fair prices. Finished off the meal with some Sambuca, which came in a snifter with the traditional 3 coffee beans. We all had leftovers to take home, and had full bellies & satisfied smiles on our faces. I highly recommend coming here, and will return again soon!

We ordered scallion pancakes, they were crispy and delicious (the vinegar was delicious), steamed soup dumplings (my favorite), Thai iced tea, hot tea and 2 ramen bowls (so yummy I forgot to take pics). We will definitely be back. For 2 apps, 2 drinks, 2 ramen bowls we were around $65+ tip for dinner.

I’ve visited this restaurant twice in just two weeks, and it’s easily one of the best Asian cuisine spots in Connecticut. The staff treats you with the utmost respect; Steven, in particular, provided exceptional service—his humility and attentiveness made my experience even better. The food is crafted to appeal to all palates, ensuring that anyone from any background will enjoy it. The entire experience is impressive, from the beautiful natural aquarium to the inviting ambiance and thoughtful packaging. Highly recommend!
