Eastern Bay Chinese Restaurant
Eastern Bay Chinese Restaurant is a great spot if you’re in the mood for some tasty Chinese food. The place has a really nice vibe, with decor that gives it an authentic feel. The food was seriously good, full of flavor and cooked just right. The service was super quick – we didn’t have to wait long at all, which was a big plus. The background music was a nice touch too, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. If you’re thinking about ordering delivery, I’d definitely recommend it. The food holds up well, and you get the same delicious taste at home as you would if you ate there. Overall, a solid choice whether you’re eating in or getting it to go.
Food was phenomenal. Excellent customer service. This is a hidden gem in Columbus. Big group of 7, every one of us tried each other's food. It was all delicious. Give this place a shot. I would post 6 stars for food if I could.
Nori Japan
Always extremely delicious food! The people are amazing! They are always very nice and if you ask politely you can get some extra sauce on your meal! Every time my wife and I come to the mall, we eat here. This place definitely beats out the other places around the food court.
The food here is cooked fresh and right in front of you! They have beef, shrimp, and chicken options. I’ve always enjoyed eating here and will be coming back for more. The food is savory and the portions are good for the price.
Mark Pi's Express
I fell sad that the Mark Pi near main campus on high street is closed. This Mark Pi’s was a good restaurant close to west campus. The service was fast and there were several different kinds of vegetables in my Kung Pao Chicken. The egg roll tasted crispy and freshly fried with great sweet and sour sauce. But this food menu was totally American Chinese with sweet sauce and they used takeout containers for dining in orders. I hated the terrible sound that the foam box touched the table and my table was not stable. WiFi was not provided.
Now that I work in the area I’ve gone here 3 times. I still remember when they used to have locations everywhere. Maybe their quality slipped? But hey I’ve returned to it and I gotta say I enjoyed it. I only got take out. Dine in has no atmosphere or charm. But I think a bulk of their business is takeout.
Great Wall Chinese Restaurant
I've been coming here since 2010. The Great Wall was my "go-to," consistent good food, fast, and a reasonable price. Not to mention they're portions are always "point." Oh, and don't forget their always delicious orange tea. This time, I ordered the Triple delight small egg drop, and of course a fresh made orange tea comes in pints only but worth it. $17 grand total
Had to order online since they only accept cash inside, but WOW their food is absolutely delicious. I got chicken with garlic sauce. Generous portions and it fills you up. Very affordable too. I will be back soon.
Panda Express
We ordered a catering meal a week prior to pick up. The pick up time was 5:30. We arrived at 5:32. We were then told we should have our food within 20 minutes. That is already unacceptable for over $800 of food prepaid for. They were barely half way done after 17 minutes. Poor establishment to say the MOST.
Food was fresh & hot Service was polite, made sure we had all the condiments we needed.
Panda Express
I ordered the string bean chicken breast with chow main- There was three pieces of chicken in the bowl… And the chicken that was in the bowl was dry… I usually don’t leave a review on a place after one bad experience, but this place continues to disappoint me. It’s low quality, Chinese food at high prices-it’s comparable to a crappy buffet The picture online looks nothing alike
Got a kids meal today not too long ago, asked for rice and noodles and beef and broccoli, they gave my child 2 pieces of meat and all that broccoli. The portion is more broccoli than meat. It should be even portions. Not satisfied at all.
Golden Chopsticks
This American Chinese restaurant was much better than what I expected. There were chicken, pork, beef, shrimp entrees, fried rice, Lo mein, Pad Thai in the menu. I ordered the spicy chicken Pad Thai, which tasted amazing with a large size and good price, even better than that in decent Asian restaurants. The chicken in the Pad Thai was orange chicken instead of plain chicken. The dining room was clean and large where two lovely turtles were swimming in the tank.
I was glad to find out places like this still exist. You get massive portions of tasty food for low prices; it reminded me of my childhood. We ordered takeout for a big group, and everybody was pleased with their food. I had the Hunan chicken, which had good spice, good flavor, and definitely exceeded my expectations. They weren't shy about the veggies either. The egg roll was an egg roll.. big and tasty. I'd happily eat their food again.
Panda Express
The Truthful Traveler says this restaurant has excellent food and good service (as usual). The men's restroom was in good shape. I give it a grade of B+ for cleanliness. Lots of food placed on top of the base. I'd suggest using the greens as opposed to the rice for the base because there's about a 400 calorie difference. If two people go, consider ordering the large food plate. There is enough food for two. One bowl appears to have more food than two bowls.
I came to this great Panda Express during dinner time. There were long lines both inside and drive-thru outside. They did a great job with efficient and fast service. My server was friendly and helpful. Their food tasted great with high quality. Walnuts shrimp, Kung Pao and sweet fire chicken with half noodle and half rice are always my favorites. The dining room was clean. WiFi was not available.
Wing's
It’s no wonder that Wing’s has been open for as long as I can remember (my whole lifetime, and yet I’ve never been). When you walk in, it’s like an American Chinese version of Cheers “where everyone knows your name”, except with typical red and gold Chinese decor 😅 It was obvious that they have regulars who frequent here (and they know each other’s names and families too!) Menu is typical favorite Chinese dishes. The Wor Su Gai was the best I’ve had in a long time; However, the first batch I had to return to the kitchen and ask for another because the batter was crispy, but the chicken was dry and overcooked. They apologized and replaced it promptly with a piping hot dish of much more tender inside-crispy outside chicken. Unimpressed with the Mongolian beef, so I did not take a picture. Extensive alcohol menu, especially scotch and whiskey, but we didn’t get any drinks from the bar. All in all, long-standing cozy Chinese restaurant good for dinner on an unusually rainy, soggy day in Columbus.
Wing’s never disappoints. From their eclectic design to phenomenal food, would wouldn’t you continue coming back? Hands down. The best spring rolls in Columbus. So many food options with many vegetarian options. Plus at a really good price! Cheers!
Happy Star -Tasty Wings
I absolutely hate throwing away food! Hate it, but this is, by far, the worst food I've had thus far in Columbus! My husband and I were at the post office and decided to grab some food in the immediate area. The wings were horrible! Do you know when you cook chicken and don't put even salt and pepper before adding whatever sauce or gravy? Yeah, that's here. You can taste how bland they were through the sauce We ordered the jot and honey garlic pepper. We also ordered 6 Cajun whiting. They look like they have seasonings, but they do NOT. And, the way they were fried, too hard, you could barely chew them. We ate 1 piece of fish each, threw out the other 4, and 2 wings, threw out the other 8. The best part of the meal was the shrimp fried rice, but probably because of the added sauce we drizzled on it and the fresh onions. $35 down the drain. I would rather eat McDonald's or Burger King. The food here is HORRIBLE, and whomever eats here has no concept of what is good food or how to cook! BTW, to those who reviewed the food and said it's the best they've ever tasted, 1 review said she travels all over the country, blah, blah, THEY ARE LYING!!!!!!! I'm from NYC, and trust, our worst hood Chinese restaurants taste better than this
I ordered them through Uber because I LOVE the name and was excited that they have a buy 1 get 1 free offer. It’s Friday night after a long week and I really wanted something to just relax and start my weekend. I ordered their lemon pepper chicken wings and fried rice combo and fried okra. The fried rice was good. Maybe a bit heavy on msg but good. The okra was over battered for me. So I couldn’t eat it. But the chicken wings! Not only were they over cooked, there was barely any seasoning! To me, that says lack of effort. Because all you have to do is shake the lemon pepper shaker a few times to get enough and I cannot fathom what went on inside their cook’s mind to not do the bare minimum in terms of seasoning the chicken wings. HUGE disappointment! I was really hoping they’d be great, given their name(!), or at the very least, good enough. But not only was it like eating rocks, but also flavorless! Deeply deeply disappointed. If they can just fix the way they made the chicken wings, I will definitely be a return customer.
Koco Asian foods
People don't understand that even though it may be an ok-regular food for a hospital, if you give them a high review for hospital food it will go high everywhere else. I came here thinking it was an ok place, but they charged me 17 for fried rice which was not fried at all, and fried chicken which was soaked in oil. For me is a NO place, never coming back again. Please be mindful with your reviews.
I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but if you need a hot meal at the hospital it's absolutely fine. Hot and fresh, and the vegetables in my meals were very nicely cooked.
Golden Chopsticks
The picture on the left was the W. Broad St. location. Which is where I went for my very first visit. The picture on the right was the location on Hilliard Rome Rd. Many people told me to give Golden Chopsticks a second chance. You can see the differences. I walked into the W. Broad location and there was no greeting when I walked in the door or placed my order. It wasn't very busy so the standard customer service expectation was a little higher. A greeting is very minimal. I ordered chicken chop suey. I have never had any that looked like this. It also had hardly any seasoning. It was TERRIBLE. I told a friend about my experience and how I didn't like it. She told me about the location in Hilliard. When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a hello. I was handed the take out menu to look at. As you can see, the quality of food is very different. It had flavor. I'm surprised they are part of the same brand. I will NEVER go to the W. Broad location EVER again. Both the customer service and food was horrible. If you want to try Golden Chopsticks, avoid the W. Broad location. Go to Hilliard Rome. Guaranteed good service and good food.
We ordered beef and broccoli with egg rolls crab rangoon teriyaki chicken and fried rice.. the teriyaki chicken was okay. I don't know if I'll order it again. The beef and broccoli were good. I just wish it was more meat in the order. I had so much rice and broccoli and not enough meat, but it did taste good. And the crab rangoon was perfect.
