China Town
The food is great served to me hot and fresh and the lady all ways check on us and was super sweet they have great food and service now it's not the best place in the world but it is great if your looking for something to eat.
Changed owners it seems, and definitely changed ingredients for the worse. They used to use large, quality shrimp and now it's just tiny frozen farm raised ones with zero flavor. Crab Rangoon was inedible, Honey Chicken was stringy and tough. Really disappointed with our food. The old owners were great, the food was always good. Not anymore. đ
Asia Star
Asian person chiming in here. For small town Chinese food cravings, this is our go-to place. We got walnut shrimp, General Tsoâs chicken, Crab Rangoon, and steamed dumplings. The latter three were repeat orders and things our toddler would eat. We ordered walnut shrimp for the first time tonight and itâll definitely be a repeat order for us. For one thing, the shrimp are LARGE! The taste took me back to my childhood of getting walnut shrimp in more ethnic enclaves. I will say that this shrimp is sweeter than Iâm used to, but it makes sense since theyâre catering to American palates. Itâs still yummy! We havenât eaten inside the restaurant before, but I suspect our food wouldâve tasted less soggy had it not sat in takeout containers for 45 minutes (we went shopping at Weis and momentarily forgot we ordered takeout + time to drive home lol)
Fairly average Chinese food and one of the better options in the greater Frederick area. Staff is friendly, food is ready quickly, and itâs always tasty. Giving them 5 stars as they certainly donât deserve the 3.9 theyâre sitting at now.
Golden Chopsticks
Worst chinese food in maine. Ordered the beef chow mein. Got beef stew with no noodle, only bean sprouts. My girl said this place was good, I no longer take food advice from her.
I really like this restaurant. I think it's the best place for Chinese take out in the Brunswick area. The prices are good for the portions of food that they give you and it always tastes fresh when I get it. I also like the family owned vibe that they have inside it seems like a nice business.
China Rose buffet
Used to eat her as a kid and teenager and to used to be so amazing! So many amazing memories and great service. I was in town so i ordered a pupu for 4 for my family for pick up, when i arruved i realized how run down the place was, the inside is gross! They have dead fish in there tanks!, but i still wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because my food still smelled decent and we were starved, but no surprise the food was so nasty!! It smelled gross up close, everything was way to greasy! There was a STAPLE in my chicken wing! My family took one bite of something and we all gagged. I actually cried because of the amount of money i paid and i never thought i would get this kind of experience from this restaurant. Im not sire if there are new owners now since i was a kid but it was the nastiest âfoodâ ive ever had. It was thrown away. I will be going back today to demand a refund. Please be carful if you do order, specially with kids, i still have no idea how that staple got imbedded in the chicken wing. Im also gonna be calling a food inspector. I genuinely think they need it.
A very Small cup of sweet a sour sauce that was half full, I couldnât eat the egg rolls because all of the grease pouring out of them. The bottom of the bag they came in was filled with grease. Will not be back
china panda
Yuk!! I got the chicken fried rice last night and it tasted horrible!! Didnât taste edible and i tried to eat just the rice and vegetables because the chicken looked questionable. Nope- had an odd taste like cardboard. I threw it away rather than risk getting sick. Luckily my husband got a delicious Subway sandwich on opposite end of shopping center and I had that instead. This place has an A rating and i question that because of the quality of my food.
Went in today with my husband and 2 kids, one of which is a very picky eater. To quote the kids when asked what they would rate it from 1-10, "It's a zillion!" The portions were very generous, giving us tons of leftovers to eat later even after leaving stuffed, and the food was absolutely delicious. The lady (I wish I'd gotten her name!) was super friendly as well. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely return. Highly recommend.
