Wing Snob
Boneless Wings: Buffalo Lemon Pepper Garlic Parmesan Chicken was A1. Juicy af, still tender, breading immaculate. No spice stands out, it’s not overpowering, subtle flavors give the chicken itself a chance to shine. Kudos to whatever oil and filtration system they’re using here. This chicken stands out. It’s saucier and….meatier than Bdubs or Applebees. It was piping hot, I ordered via UberEats and it was right on time. Young lady at the counter was cheerful and greeted me quickly. Bagged up with utensils, appreciated. Sauce was generous, Parmesan was hitting, garlic was never too much. Loved the Buffalo lemon pepper, not too hot, just right. Garlic parm, I’m more of a wet sauce guy but the flavor was spot on, generous with the parm and seasoning. Wings were all thoroughly cooked and very nicely sized, dare I say hand-cut? Clean spot, cheerful service, amazing food. Don’t hesitate, they got something good with this franchise. Looking forward to desserts.
Everything tasted really really good. Fresh, hot and flavorful. The only thing is it feels a bit pricy for what you get. And you don't get an included sauce. For the price point... I'd expect at least a dipping sauce to be included. Other than that it's really good. Def one of the best flavored I'd had. Service is also quick! 12 minutes for the order to be ready. Which happens to be the cook time on the chicken. Really good timing.
What The Phở
We all had a different Pho. So delicious. Perfect on a chilly December evening. The decor is artistic and peaceful. Calm piano music plays in the background. The server came right out as soon as we sat down. The food also came out quickly. I’d come here again.
Chinese own Vietnamese Pho joint who loves to cut corners, big time. The set up is actually like a typical Chinese joint in the burbs, sticky table top, dirty condiment bottles and pods, gave us tea cup plates for the spring rolls, what? The pho broth was ok, no depth, five spice level was good. The noodles were good but the tiny briskets were precooked, boiled, no meat flavor whatsoever and they are the smallest I have ever seen. There are also these fat bits in there, what? The bean sprouts were old, basil was ok. Didn't eat it. Absolutely won't be back, actually one of the worst Pho joints that I have been in.
So Moon Bowl and Sushi
Nice restaurant. Friendly staff. Food was tasty and out fast. Hot green tea had a seaweed flavor. Got a Mongolian Beef bowl. Needed just a touch of sauce.
The food was good but the ramen wasn't very flavorful. It had a good amount of spice, just not a ton of flavor. Also, there were a few gnats flying around, which was a bummer. But their combo is a really good deal. Soup and a specialty roll for $20! And the service was very friendly👍
Szechuan Empire
Ordered the Orange Chicken and General Tso. There was no heat (ordered medium) no flavor (except a strange almost fishy after taste which was probably burnt oil) and was way over cooked (chewy and so bad). Waste of $30. Terrible terrible quality, and we were the only ones there!! How could they mess it up that badly with literally nothing else to do???
Made the mistake of getting this new year's eve. The food was dry and overcooked , prob leftovers from earlier in the day. I got the almond chicken and it was mostly batter. Worse, it made everyone in the house sick. Now I remember why I stopped coming here.
New China Moon
Very nice people! The food was excellent and fresh. I recommend the chicken Egg Foo Young and the General Tso’s chicken. The egg rolls remind me of a smaller version I had as a kid from my favorite place at the time…..delicious! 😋 I should have taken the picture before I ate one of the patties, but I couldn’t resist.
Takeout food was all very hot, fresh and tasty! Also, even though I walked in 15 mins before closing time since getting off work late, the owner was super nice and her customer service complemented her delicious food perfectly. Highly recommend if you want good Chinese food!
Pan Pan
Do not order the fried crispy shrimp! You'll be sorry you ordered it. It's half of a butterflied shrimp coated with tons of flour / breading and fried in lots of oil. When I ordered this menu item, I expected fried full shrimp like I would get in some Chinese restaurants...no breading...just pure lightly salted shrimps & fried to perfection.essentially you get 2-1/2 shrimps for $8!
This place was amazing… I prefer un breaded chicken… Most places will not do that and I have to drive from Southfield to Garden City normally to get that… Came in on Labor Day of all days and they were open… Food was delicious and they made it without breading with no problem
Dynasty of Livonia
I always order carrot or door dash delivery. My order is always correct, fresh and piping hot. I love their food as I have tried a few dishes. My fave Chinese place to order from.
I tried out this restaurant thru Uber Eats, and I was not disappointed. I'm wondering why the reviews are so wishy washy. Well, take it from a New Yorker. This Chinese food was great. It might come a little more bland since lack of spice or sodium, but so those of yous who don't know that's why they send you soy sauce and hot oil. You set it to your liking. I went for the basics w/ veggie fried rice and some beef lomein. The only thing I wish I saw on the menu was fried chicken wings, but I'm not complaining. P.S. Their portions are at the rim of the container, so I have no idea how some people have anything bad to say.
Koney Island Inn
I stopped in this location on Sunday May 26 2024 at approximately 7:30pm, this place has so much inconsistencies with its food, I ordered a chicken strip meal and it barely had any chicken and a very small piece of bacon.. So small I could barely see it in salad, I have ordered here quite a few times in the past few weeks and each time my salad has gotten worse. I come here because it’s safe and close to the house, Food is to expensive to have less than mediocre food. This is unacceptable and unfortunate they can’t get a simple salad correct.. I am disappointed and will not be patronizing this place again
The food was hot, great service thank you. This was my first visit to this place and I will be going back for some gr food and service!
Lim's Star Restaurant
First visit- The guy who took my order was very nice and helpful in recommending spice level- I would have chosen medium, but he let me know that they are mild as like a medium-The sauce definitely had a little heat to it, and I could add Sriracha to it to make it a little more spice General Tao is one of our go to meals And we know that it seems every Chinese restaurant makes it a little differently, and this was no exception- The sauce is a bit of a tangy sweet sauce, a bit more unusual than what I’ve had- almost like it had a vinegar based sauce- The chicken is a bit heavily breaded for me. By the time I got it home, it was soggy, and the breading was falling off. I didn’t care for the rice that came with it. I should have asked if it was a veggie fried rice, which is what we prefer. This was more like a soy sauce rice. It didn’t even taste like fried rice and my husband said he found a little bit of chicken so maybe it was their version of chicken fried rice The eggrolls were tasty. I appreciated that they weren’t burnt and they weren’t greasy. The crab and go was just OK. Quite pricey for the small little ones that you get. I don’t think we would order this again. My husband and I were able to share this meal- it all tasted fresh and well prepared. They box it securely. I definitely would go back and try some different dishes so my other favorites. It’s nice to have another good option in my area that I can grab on the way home.
I ordered general tso chicken... this looks like sweet and sour chicken bites tossed in orange chicken syrup. Ordered delivery via Uber eats. Great portion size though. Presentation and taste is low quality. From the reviews I thought I was getting supreme Chinese quality. Disappointed.
Ten Yen Restaurant
The wait is longer than your typical Chinese restaurant and it’s not worth it!! I literally changed my review from 5 stars to 1 star because one of my shrimp egg foo young patties had hair cooked in it and I didn’t catch it till I was about to reheat the food the next day. On the day I got my food, I ate one of the patties which is why some of the pattie is gone in the picture. I also left a 5 start rating that day. The NEXT day, I was in the process of about to warm up my food and I noticed hair on the other patty. I took a fork and plucked it out of the patty. It was cooked into the patty. It was multiple hairs in that one patty! Thankfully, I didn’t notice any of the hair in the patty I ate the day before. Also, thankfully, the gravy was on the side b/c I probably wouldn’t have caught that! I went back to the picture and circled the hair that I didn’t notice when I originally took the picture smh.
It is take out only. It used to be in dining before the pandemic, but dining room never reopened. Ten Ten has the BEST Chinese in the area!! The gal at the cash register is OUTSTANDING!! REALLY like her!!! You get a HUGE AMOUNT OF FOOD!!! I usually can get THREE meals out of it for just me!!! Leftovers are GREAT!!!
Dale Yee's Chow Mein
The egg roll and egg drip soup were great and what I was expecting. They use bean sprouts in their egg rolls, which is always a win for me. The Chicken Chop Suey was just okay. Not bad, but it seemed to lack flavor. I added lots of soy sauce, which helped but really only made the whole dish taste like nothing but soy sauce. I will give them another shot though as I do appreciate the egg rolls! Service was great even though it was take-out. Fast and fresh.
I had some beyond TERRIBLE Almond chicken🤮🤮🤮. Inedible, rubbery, tough, disgusting. Egg rolls were off also for some reason🤔🤔🤔. Hope this is a fluke. I cannot believe they let that order roll out the door. Won't be in any hurry to come back.
China House Inn
Food was hot, fresh and good. They FILL the crab ragoon, it's a savory flavor and not overly sweet; I recommend trying them. The wonton soup had very large dumplings, which is awesome. The dishes have large portion sizes, we both had leftovers. The waitress was friendly and attentive, we will return! We had honey garlic chicken and sweet and sour chicken as our main dishes and both were great!
Our first time here. The food was made fresh and the hot and sour soup was good. The prices are very reasonable. Sue was our waitress and she knew her menu well. My husband works directly across the street at the music store, so I know he can get some good food while at working.
